We had a PL earlier in the party and i got used to pulling at a fast rate

soon as this guy comes in, we went from chain 10~12's to chain 2's getting 5k exp an hour
completely ridiculous

toning it down to that was a bit difficult yeah
so he decided to pull, and we were doing full rests between each colibri

was ridiculous, we were lucky to get chain 2 lmao, AND HE WAS PROUD OF IT!

this guy was being snappy, and i honestly dont care cause i got asked out on a date that night :]
another reason this party was an MP sink ,though, was because we had a member afk for the entire party

the sam's kids were goin crazy or something i forget



but regardless the party was AMAZING before he got there, and when he left, i brougth duskk, a blm who was able to heal more efficiently than this rdm
went back to getting chain 4~5+ immediately after


got everyone their levels and went to bed happy
and i honestly laughed at this post
and at the title even..


far as dnc goes, i posted i was on a laptop with quite a bit of lag. gearswaps take 3~4 seconds to buffer out on it when i play on it so yeah sorry i can't macro in step gear lol
so i use enkidu's mitts and relic feet.

for steps, sambas, cures, melee and ws gear yeah its a bit graphics intensive for my laptop

If you had a PLD/WAR main tank and an AFK DD, which is the information I needed to comment then by all means Neville had every right to request MP before pull. Obviously you were too much of a moron to listen to the mage. I would have booted YOU immediately, that is a guarantee.

I wonder if you are superior to everyone else now that you have both SAM and DNC at 75. God forbid someone tell you a request in a pt because you are 100% right and all.

Was your 6th member a DD when the lvl 75 pwrlvler was there? Because that would explain how you were able to get to chain 12. Yea replacing a DD w/ a mage losing a powerlvler and having a DD go afk for the entire party while Neville was there might explain the loss in exp.

They did not add a blm to the pt, the blm steped in to pl, its funny the rdm that joined the pt to get quick merit points failed and wanted to run the pt as his pace, level sync or not always grab refesh from sig, don't sit there and bitch about low mp when they waited for you to take a knee and all u did was stand there a waste ppls time, its sad to see another rdm gone to shit on this server, when i go into low lvl pts i get yags and refesh! this flame is Bullshit if you ask me, a 75rdm going in to this level sync pt should know to bring the right items along.

Flame sucks, Jyako sucks(but i love him) the flame should be on the rdm for slowing them down.. another thing dawnn did not have a warning that the pl left..

BBT how is it the RDM fault? You said so yourself that before and after Neville it was a powerlvler. Dawnn didn't specify that the blm was a powerlvler.... I seriously can't believe that Dawnn is so incompetent that he can't differentiate the difference between a powerlvled party vs a normal setup party. Let me spell it out for both of you, lol, adding a lvl 75 powerlvl with refresh will assist a party regardless of the setup. BBT you are cool and all, but Dawnn is an idiot.

Yeah, from what I've read so far it just sounds like he couldn't adjust to a normal party. If your set-up sucks, a PL will make it seem like it's great, but the minute that PL is gone, you're not going to do as well. When you're PL leaves, you are supposed to adjust right then and there. Slow kills? Slow down the pulls.

Also, I skipped a lot so I missed what level/where they were partying. I keep seeing Signet refresh, and if you mean FoV refresh then not everyone really has points for that. I rarely used FoV buffs because I used my points on augments. It's not like it just comes free or you constantly build FoV points by just partying like Conquest points and Imperial Standings. Plus, last time I checked there was a time that there was no FoV Refresh so you can't say it's something that's needed because it's not.

Rank 10...Know it all... yet, somehow, doesn't know anything.
We all know players like it. Hell, some of us may even have them in our shells, heaven forbid.

My two years away from the game made, or helped, me forget players like this.

But this Rng, who consistently "forgot" that I asked for MP and repeatedly pulled when I had under 20% MP at times... (and level sync'd, so no Refresh) made it all come back.

My hat is off to you, though.
Your inability to play this game was both astonishing and awe-inspiring.

I wish you well on your quest to win a "cure off" versus a Red Mage, especially a merited red mage.
If you play your BLM nearly as well as your RNG, I'd be impressed if you managed to get a single spell off.

I rarely post, but omg this was a confusing flame.

As a healer, my philosophy is simple:

If I have to watch 5 people's hp bars, then 5 people can watch my mp bar. Ignore it at your own peril.

Pulller/Tank/Hate Magnet: "wtf didn't you cure us?"

Me: "Hey . . . you were the geniuses that thought pullin when I was sittin on 8 mp was a good idea . . ."

I agree with this post from Reauland. When I am in a merit pty, lvl sync pty, dynamis, ls event or anything with a group of people all I can do is trust that they are aware of my MP pool. If a mob is pulled and all I have is minimal mp, I throw out the cures I can then I rest.

As a whm, I enjoy when the puller pulls fast and pushes for max xp.

Well now that I know what happened in detail (I kinda just skipped and skimmed through the mindless QCDN High School bickering) I can say that if it were me, I would have let your ass die if you pulled and MP was not sufficient, but if I was resting, I doubt you would die too fast (heheheheh~). Also if you are wasting MP on unnecessary actions or you can't keep up with it at this point, just don't play a healer ever again. With in reason you should be able to adapt to whatever party situation you have. If the party moves at fast pace, adjust. Pullers will adjust to how you heal and your MP status. Pullers will be able to determine at after a full chain what you are capable of assuming you don't change (during each fight) how much MP you use but a mob's A.I. can surprise you but we know there isn't much variance you should know what to expect from a mob at a given moment.

You bitches and your damn sublimation, grimmore usage, and composure. I remember when none of that existed and all you have was sound judgment (did I actually say that in reference to something on QCDN let alone about FFXI?) of when to rest, refresh of any kind and a prayer.

I did get Signet with refresh.
The problem was nobody booted the AFK person and that people pulled when I wasn't ready.
Also that people like you apparently talk out of their ass, without bothering to inquire the facts or read.
If you HAD read, you'd have seen that we had a big DDer sitting around AFK.

He wouldn't have died, though. The tank would have provoked and died, then I would have been next, then the rest of the party. Despite Dawnn's friends coming in here to call me a bad healer (LOL @ that), I'm not going to let people needlessly die.
