More the former than the latter to me. Too many GD D's. However, if Urat were trying to tout DNC's UNQUESTIONABLY AWESOME AND PANTY-DROPPING endgame abilities without actually being able to *do* DNC endgame or having done anything endgame-related with a DNC, I'd find this flame a load more annoying.
 
Naw, I agree, we probably don;t have much to offer about endgame. But I never said we were good at it. I said we were good at exping.

And did you not notice me saying I'm going after lu shangs? Go take a look at the San d'Oria AH to see where all my money is going. Or check my bazaar comment. At 20K a lik, 25K a gugrasaurus, and ~3K a stack of moat carp, there's no way in hell I can afford an ecphoria ring.

A lot of people can't fund jobs, but they still level them. That's like saying when you first join the game, if you can't fund WAR then don't level it even though you start with 10 gil. And 50 gil from a coupon!
 
Ecphoria ring is a waste of time for any job. I honestly have no idea why people buy it.

I'm not talking about when you first start the game. I'm talking about at level 30, you should have a secure way of bringing in gil to your character.

That was a weak argument.

Yeah, and they're called gimps. Its not that people "can't fund jobs and still lvl them" Its that they are fucking lazy and would prefer to gimp themselves to 75. Sup Antdog?!?

Even at 30, you can't really have a secure way of getting gil. I didn't until like 60, PLD is a pretty cheap job though so I didn't have much troubles leveling it with good gear. I don't even have a completely "secure" way of making gil now. But with Taisa quitting (I'll miss him a lot) and me getting 3 mil, I can probably find a secure way of making money.

Uh, yeah it's weak. Even at 30WHM, I had a secure way of making money. It's called 'Hey let's go farm Wild Onions in Horutoto Ruins'. Or 'Hey let's go into Konschtat and fight some bees for Honey and Chips'.

So yeah... still weak. If you can't find a way to make money by the time you're 30, you'll gimp yourself and the party you've joined. I'm not even talking about HQ gear.

You're kidding right? Tell me you are kidding... I have a "secure way" of making money at lvl 1 on my mule with no subjob. In fact I can think of about 5-10 ways right off the top of my head on how to make gil on my lvl 1 mule.
