{English}PT{No thanks.}

You can do your "JP sucks too" thing all you want--it's quite irrelevant here. The OP is inquiring why it is that there are {english} {party} {no thanks] JPs, and I'm just saying that a lot of JPs don't want to waste time joining what has a comparatively high chance of ending up to be a 10-minute party. The "leave whenever" phenomenon is far more pervasive in E parties for sure, and I hope you're not trying to argue otherwise.

I am, because the general community leaves warning, and when they dont, they get talked about on these boards, or in xp parties.

Take your blinders off, JP aren't perfect, remember they are the ones that brought along MPK, stalling NMs, and are the main proponents of RMT, because they have a different cultural view of buying gil than NA do.

No doubt it's been a topic on the flameboard before, but I couldn't find it. Can anyone enlighten me as to why 90% of Japanese players won't party with foreigners? Is it because they think it's just rude to party with us since they can't speak our language? It's not like we treat them the same way. How many times do you see English speakers saying {Japanese}PT{No thanks.}?

Bleh.

/whineoff <_<

there ya go

Has anyone ever pted with Regret? He's probably on my top 3 worst players on the entire server and he's JP. Race literally means nothing, and to think it does means you're just a stereotype follower you can't think on your own. "JP mentality" is some imaginary term people use to validate their own stereotypical racist bullshit.

I don't know why meeze has to enter self-defense mode whenever I come and post. Neither attacking him, nor anyone in particular here. I never made the claim that JP are perfect, either. Guess is that inferiority complex thing again.

Just look at the top threads here on qcdn, and I think my case is well suppoted.

thread 1) List of people who fake DC
thread 2) Group of idiots you'll probably want to avoid.
thread 3) Alecto and his RDM friend

All bitching about unpleasant xp parties...

and then you have

thread 4) [The reason for JPs avoiding E parties because they often end up like 1), 2), and 3)]

Correction on the bolded parts, that one isn't bitching about unpleasant xp parties, it's about some guy name Alecto that decide to show quetz how smart he is in case you are not reading that thread.

/sarcasm off

I pt during JP prime time due to my time zone stuff, i prefer to get JP parties for couple of reasons but mainly is the time issue.

Jp parties have time limit on how long they party, which i really like since most parties will end around 00:00 or 23:00, time to sleep and get ready for work tomorrow /sigh.

As pointed by some people, JP don't like replacements since most of the time when replacements come, other members would go into chain reaction "Sorry, gotta go!". Refer to one of the thread in the FB, Let the leaders lead the party etc.

As for JP superiority, maybe so couple of years ago but as for now i have seen equally bad JP players eg. JP RDM meree at 50.. wtf? 2 RDM not hasting any of the DD wth? etcetc.

I'm sorry I didn't expend any sizable amount of time on a seemingly mundane thread, but if i recall, the OP read:

...our leader had to leave suddenly and invited Alecto without telling us. Alecto is WAR56 and tell our new leader (tho he was forced to get the leader job, the former leader just passed it over and log off on spot).

If i didn't read that incorrectly, your problem started from an unannounced replacement--and happens to coincide exactly with the profile of E parties that JPs avoid.

Oh and JPs also have their own flame board on other site, where they also flame players on how sucky or how noob a player is etcetc. However, what i find ammusing on those site is that, all the flamers have their name anonymous XD.

I'm pretty sure it's 2 sided things about NA ONRY or JP ONRY issue, language and cultural differences are probably the main issues here.

I have made couple of JP friends on server, i even finish my CoP with JP statics from CoP2-5. So yea.. erm... =p

Yea, that part sucks, but that isn't the stuff that i want to flame or bring to this flame. Those kind of actions are rampant in NA parties, thus i don't find it worthy of flaming (waste my time to type and upload). That's why i removed the leader name that log out after getting the Alecto guy. ^^b

...bring to this place*.

Need edit button...

I also mainly merited in jp time, so probably one reason they took my invites and/or invited me. Even had a jp dude send me a tell about my ninja skillz. Thought that was cool.

You made the claim that NA's invented all the bad things.

If you want a list of crap JPs do, I can easily do it, but I'm not going to tell you that JPs started it, and thats why NA's do it now.

But here is you telling us how great JPs are, and how NAs ruined the game. BTW, this is just this thread, we can pull up the "check" thread, then we'll really see you in action

What do you think about those parties where you're invited as a replacement, and then the party disbands 10 minutes after you join because the leader leveled up? ...Or those parties that end because the someone leveled up right away, and then magically disconnected? It's that practice of "leave whenever and (maybe) find a replacement" that's the #1 reason JPs don't want to party with Es.

Right, every NA party ends in 10 minutes, thats why there are no 75s NAs in this game.

Why cry when people treat you like shit when you've been doing the same to them all along (collectively, that is)? I've experienced no JP parties where I didn't receive at least a 30 minute warning. This is, of course, as a JP player. Maybe a lot of JPs, from their personal experience, just think it's normal for Es to end whenever, so they just do that when they invite Es. I have no personal experience to offer for that, as I've never joined JP parties impersonating as an E.

Most parties don't just end whenever, just you generalizing. I'd say less than 10% of parties end out of the blue.

You can do your "JP sucks too" thing all you want--it's quite irrelevant here. Again, people don't just end whenever.

Now, I'll give you this. At around midnight PST is when I'm cautious about who I'll take an invite from. I probably wont take one from JPs because I know it is early for them, unless I'm on a late night schedule. I'll accept from NA because more often than not, it is going to be a quickish party. 1-2.5 something like that. Again, unless I'm planning on being up late that night.

Same thing happens when I party in the mornings. At around 10 am PST, its already 1am I think in JP, so I wont invite JP usually. NA's I know have already started their day etc.

I also have problems with JP and SATA. On my hume, I couldn't get this one kid to voke and stand opposite the tank for the life of me. Even one of the JPs in the party was trying to get him to line up. I had multiple late night JP parties where I would just SA, and not utilize TA. I'm not going to sit here and tell you that JPs suck at SATA, and that when they do get it right, they are "impersonating as an E".

I also mainly merited in jp time, so probably one reason they took my invites and/or invited me. Even had a jp dude send me a tell about my ninja skillz. Thought that was cool.

Thats the good thing about JPs, they're always telling me how great I am.

actually, that thread isn't about a shitty exp party, it's about a shitty player who thinks he's hot-shit-omg-better than everyone else because he came from another server with a dual-box PL.

it may have started as a "this guy sucks in exp pt's", but that thread is CERTAINLY not about that at all :)

I know the whole thread is full of this, but I wanted to add to it. I've been trying to merit for the past few nights, and every single JP bard I have asked is JP-only.

It's so racist. Last night I made a party full of NA players (because I had to) and we hit chain 250+. Any JP player would be happy with that...why do they automatically assume that we're bad players? Is the auto-translate really that inconvenient to use for them?

And I'm really tired of hearing that it's because NA parties are mostly crap and JA parties are godly...that's a stupid stereotype, I've seen no evidence to back it up.

Sorry if what I'm saying is redundant, but I'm fucking sick of it.

I've actually been there. It's weird being the nearly-naked white guy with long blonde hair in the middle of all of that.
