Fable 2 (Now Released)

Wait, how does this money glitch work again?
 
It's still 10$ more for almost nothing IMO. I won't go on a crusade against anyone buying the LE. Don't get me wrong! ^^ I'm just stating a fact.

I know if I was plannin' to get this game I wouldn't settle for others havin' more content than me. I'd pony up the bills.

Fable is a decent game, not the best but I enjoy playing it. I havent gotten very far yet, but its kinda easy. I chopped wood for 45mins and made like 30 000 gold

No kidding Osy. I'd take a chunk of that off of your hands too if you don't mind. I never played the pub games really either (never bothered with the glitch) and i'm probably more in debt than anything.

We can trade money?

I never played pub games.

I did black smithing until i had about 40,000 Gold.

I bought like... 2 homes worth 5k each... increased the rent to 100%.

I bought a pub next and increased prices 100%. Each property goes down in price i guess as you buy more in that city. So the prices started to come down.

I then Saved. Went all the way back to my xbox menu.. As if the disk tray was open..

Set the date on my console 1 year ahead. Went back into fable and received like 40,000 gold as i entered the game.

I bought more and more and increased prices to 100%.

Went back to menu and changed my xbox date a year in advance again... Went back to Fable and received like 150,000 apon entering Fable...

You can only advance the clock 3 months and get the money to multiply. Anything over 3 months does not add to the multiplier.
I just added a year to the clock each time because it was faster.

I now get almost 4,000,000 Gold every time i advance the game xbox clock 1 year. And i receive like 80,000 Gold every 5 minute in game lol.

Also you need to be disconnected from live to do this. And they are coming out with a patch very soon... So get it while its hot.

Doing that trick maxes out your corruption on a single run, so if you want to stay pure you might want to avoid maxing out the profit. You can do the trick without raising the profit per shop, but you just won't get as much per run.

I did it with 100% on all of em and got mad corrupt. Then after i got like 5 mil I went back and set them all to -60 on stores and -75 on houses and redid the trick. When I loaded back up i still got 350k and was max pure. Works for me lol.
 
I did it once and made 8k(only bought 2 shops), but I'm going to try to play through without using an exploit for the first time. Plus, I'm going for being a good guy on the first attempt; I'll save the exploit for a second play through when I'm going to be evil.

Does anyone know if you can have multiple games on the same account, like could I start another game and not have it overwrite my current one?
 
You can. When you click continue you get a menu that pops up asking which hero you want to load. I just dont think you can have multiple saves per hero, but you can have more than one hero.
 
I really loved the game. I finished it I think Friday night. Overall I enjoyed the game a lot. My only problem was the final boss fight was garbage.
 
Osy a reason property value drops isn't because you are buying houses. It is because you aren't buying anything other then houses in that town. The economy is dropping so the houses are worth less. The more you purchase from the local shops the higher the economy goes.

They have nothing worth buying... Like at all... In any shop...

You can get better items from the vendors outside your castle thingy...
 
Potions are great to buy.
