No, the RPG mechanics are solid, just the story is very basic. It's still following the same basic plot as every other RPG out there, it's just a very simplified version.

It's a failure if you were stupid enough to listen to the hype from a company that has ALWAYS fallen far short of their promises. Other than that it's a good game.

So I beat Fable 2 today, wtf was that????? There wasnt really a boss battle at the end........>_>

Yeah, I'd definitely do that. Vesperia is nothing but awesome, Fable is a lot of fun, but has a ton of bugs.
 
I had this game on preorder, but I never bought it. Reviews didn't bother me, but I started reading this thread, now im glad I didn't buy it. I'll wait lol.
 
I think I'll wait for a PC version. If it never comes -- I don't think I'll be all that sad. However, I guess my main complaints with RPG games on TV isn't valid anymore (low pixel counts). Maybe I'll get a 360 someday before then and play.
 
I love my dog. I have to say they actually made it possible for you to give a shit about the dog in the game. NPCs usually have terrible AIs in games but they seem to have done a pretty great job with the dog.
 
Yah the dog was great, both for combat, and for comedic relief! I love the targeted urination trick XD. Anyone here unlock all the Demon Doors? Im missing the one that requires you to do different emotes and the one under the castle..........

The one under the castle requires you to unlock the other 8 first.

I've played through it 3 times already (having 12+ hours every other day helps) and it's still fun as hell. Admittedly, they could use some DLC and extras for it, but that'll come in due time I wager.
 
i completed this earlier this morning, i hadnt played in awhile and assumed i had alot left to do...but damn that was short...
 
If you rush through it (I have The Daichi (best melee weapon, imo) and The Red Dragon/The Perforator (2 best legendary ranged weapons)) you can finish it in...like...12 hours or so. I know on days I have off of school/work I play from like 9:30 to almost 12:30 and I can start a new char and finish the game. Thats also doing nothing else like side quests and the like. It's still fun as hell though, at least for me.
 
I just completed this. I have to say, the game was awesome, and I love that --- FINALLY a game balanced mage with melee. (Granted, I'm not all that much of a gamer so Im' sure other games do, but this one was impressive)

I enjoyed it...

Did anyone buy the New DLC Knothole Island. I am wondering if it is worth the 10 bucks that they are changing.

Finally had a chance to play through the bulk of the expansion achievements. If you liked the main storyline, you would enjoy this I think. Par.
 
I just bought Fable II. I'm enjoying the game. Might be pretty cheesy and some people might be upset, but damn the game is fun.
 
I have been playing Fable II again and I have an inquiry!

Can you move your family out of town? I married this poor sap in a caravan town and well.. I want to expand. I would like to have him and my 'son' follow me to another town and make a house there our marital home.

Is this possible?

Also, by going back to Raven and starting the 'last leg' to find and defeat Lucien, if I were to do this quest will my game end and not allow me free play afterwards? There's still a lot I want to do.
 
Not sure about moving your family, but you can always practice polygamy!

Yes, there is free play after you beat the game, just like Fable 1
