Fallout 3

Keeping good karma is easy. I stole everything that wasn't bolted down and my karma never dropped below "Good" due to doing quests that raise ones karma. Like the "Lawbringer" perk available at level 14. Once you get that, every normal human-type creature in the game will drop a finger (if the game classifies them as evil however), which you can then turn in for caps and karma.

So go ahead and jack shit and do what you like, karma is easy to re-obtain. Just remember that if you've a follower and you don't act the way they like, they might leave. I never cared, as I truly played as the "Lone Wander". Aka: totally alone, not even with Dogmeat. (useless dog)

Cool - I hate how they associate stealing stuff from people that aren't even around (or alive half the time) bad joojoo..

If you want to be bad, and I mean really fucking bad, blow up Megaton.

It's next to impossible to even get back to Neutral karma after that.

Working for the nice folks up in Paradise Falls is another great way to get some bad karma. Who would a thunk slavery could be so fun and profitable.

New DLC coming out next month called Broken Steel. Takes out the ending of the game and lets you play on in new missions helping the Brotherhood make a new weapon. Also raises the level cap to 30.

I am interested to see if they are going to make things harder to fight once they raise the level cap. With my skills, perks, and weapons most things are not even a challenge now so how can they stay entertaining after the level cap is raised.

Broken Steel comes out tomorrow, can't wait.

It was stated that with the level cap being raised to 30 their would be new tougher enemies to fight. Personally I agree, I'm looking forward to something I can't instantly liquefy with my various weapons. I might have to start hidden sneak attack head-shot sniping again instead of just wading into the middle firing my plasma cannon/laser rifle/shotgun etc... at everything that moves and coming out with hardly a scratch.

I haven't done the other 2 DLCs yet, I might wait till I get Broken Steel before I do them so I can start leveling up from those quests :P

Are the DLC's worth it? Like it's not something you can plow through in a day is it lol. And um, kind of a dumb question but how do you download the content? I don't actually own a ps3 but I play my friends and he barely know how it works too so... lol

I dont think PS3 gets DLC

The PS3 isn't going to get any DLC from Fallout 3.

I never got around to downloading "The Pitt" DLC, and the announcement that they'll get a disc-based retail release has me thinking I'll just wait and get them all later. That way I can share the expansions with my Xbox friends who aren't online.

Fuck you, xbox users.

You're not missing much. Operation Anchorage and The Pitt were pretty lousy. I actually really disliked The Pitt because the morality options are completely out of fucking whack.
Spoiler:
Kidnap and infant and kill her parents is the good guy approach? What the flying fuck Bethesda? Sure, slavery is bad, but Ashur saw it as a necessary evil to get things back on track. He also had every intention of freeing the slaves after the cure was found and people were able to safely reproduce again. But I guess large scale death is a better alternative to temporary forced labor resulting in a complete return of an industrial society?

Operation Anchorage is just incredibly boring with absolutely game breaking rewards.

The only real indisputable positive for those two is that they add a bunch of entities for modding. Ofcourse, that only applies if you have the PC game.

I am just happy that i am going to be able to use my decked out good character that I had to sacrifice at the end of the game. I just hope the game is a challenge again. I mean being practically invincible is nice and all but it gets boring after a while.

The other 2 DLC were fun and were long enough as long as you didn't rush through them.

I loved all the new weapons they gave you (at least the gauss rifle/autoaxe/scoped machinegun) but i beat The Pitt in an evening, without rushing, and i beat OA in a little over a day. They were no where near long enough, but being the fallout junkie that i am, i bought both of them and don't regret the purchase at all. If i wasn't such a junkie, i would probably be really upset.

I liked Operation Anchorage, sure it was linear, but it was fun. Plus the broken near-invulnerable Winterized Power Armour is nice. The Pitt was...odd. To short, and way fucked up for the morality choices. I agree with you there Skaw.

Spoiler:
There was no way in hell I was taking the "good" (really? this is the GOOD ending?) way. I went with what I wanted to do, saved the child, talked Wernher into leaving peacefully, then shot his fucking ass in the back, netting me some negative karma. lol. I also got the impression he didn't give a rats ass about the slaves either, he wanted the power, their support was just a means to his end. So I turned him into ash, looted his remains, and left. I was highly tempted to Midea into green goo. Wah wah, I want results now, and have no qualms about killing an innocent baby to do it. Now that I think about it, I think I'll go back and nuke her.

I am looking forward to tougher things to kill. I miss the comforting sound of xp when I kill something.
