Maybe, its one or the other >.O Either way, all of the character's special attacks rock when used at 999% xD
 
Wow I beat the game already and I got to Lv.5 Crystarium u making that Lv10 stuff up right?
Cuz I walked through the game really really slow I got on all characters the main 3jobs to Lv.5 all max out
and teh new jobs i couldn't take pass Lv.1 apperently they wont let you but i still went trhough all the Lv.1 stages as they open.
I maxed out Tiamat and Heutaclaire along with the HP accesories I mainly used Light,Vani,Hope.
My classes were BLM BLM BLM to build up my stagger bar.
WHM/Healer RDM SYN/Buffer to dot bosses as Hpe boost everyone up with pro shel haste etc.
and third class was COM/BLM/BLM I didnt die even once until i reach the 2nd form of the final boss with that gay ass move to take evryone to 1%hp.
I still have 396k AP's i havent spend because i dont have anything to spend them on & lastly THE END sucks... ; ; It was predictable and stupid for all the hard work. & Vanille was pretty cute
 
Well I have Lightning's blazefire and axis blades up to level 20 thus far, blazefire pwns cuz of its high STR and MAG but I prefer the ATB Advantage combined with the Whistlewind scarf. I dunno, I'm staying on the Steppe until I'm done maxing out what I can for everyones 3 main jobs
 
I think the ending was interesting, as well as a bit confusing. But I didn't mind it.
 
About to face the last boss of Chapter 11 to unlock Crystarium Stage 9, then I go back to the Steppe to do missions, and Death Adamantoise.
 
Just beat the game, got five star on final form first try, guess I didn't need to level up all three character's main jobs to full level 9. Guess I'll do missions and finish off the crystarium now :D

There are ten stages to it, so it expanded nine times. What you're referring to is just the job level, not the crystarium level.
 
I just finished this, and I just have to say that is the lamest, most ridiculous skill I have ever seen, my first fight, had it down to 10%, party almost at full health, and BAM,Lightning dead, what nonsense. Owned both forms the 2nd time, but still, what a load of crap. Music for the first form was great though.

I've gone with Axis for Lightning, the Lionheart didn't activate enough for me to keep using it.
On Hope I use the Hawkeye for the high magic, and the one that Vidohunir for the extended buffs.
Fang I can't decide on lol. I've done Gae Bolg & Taming Pole when I'm using her as Commando.
 
Fang is one of my favourite FF characters of all time by the way.

I really don't like fang at all lol, I hate how she is the best commando, cause I don't want to use her, yet I want to put out the most damage.
 
Fang is fucking awesome, my favorite character from FFXIII and one of my favorite characters in any Final Fantasy.
 
I hated Fang also idk why I just couldn't fnd a liking to her.
I LOVED Vanille though from the first moment I saw her.
Now here is nothign else to do I caped everything @Lv.5 all my guys have 15k+Hp except Hope 11397.
As far as the best Comando for me thats Lightning my regular hits with her go for 28-40k as far as stagger goes 80-120k
Then again I JUST CANT beat final boss form 2 with DD form I have to go Reaverx3
 
Vanille kinda annoys me, but she's not so bad. Fang is badass though :P

Edit: Gotta say, while that guy is pretty harsh about FFXIII, he makes some valid points. It is incredibly lame that if your leader dies, you lose. Woulda been better if you just switched character you controlled. Also the story coulda used a bit more of a destiny/racial/whatnot focus as he pointed out, but that's not to say the story is bad like he was saying. The story is quite interesting to go through and the worlds were fun to explore. The battle system is also incredibly fun and you don't HAVE to use auto-attack stuff. It just is there for people who don't want to micromanage everything (which can punish you too, as in sometime the auto stuff doesn't do exactly the right thing you need).

So ya, over all, that review is too harsh, but has some valid points.

My PS3 has had freezing problems lately so I can't get through that tunnel after the Archlyte Steppe. I'm getting nervous and irritated at it. Froze 3 times on FFXIII and twice on MW.

While I agree with him on wishing there was more mini games and maybe some more quests to say. I have to disagree with him on pretty much everything else, this is the best game I have played in a long while.
 
yeah, the story was great, and he's flat out lying if he claims he wasn't paying attention during the final fight. hell I've been fighting trash things and my eyes and mind will wander to the other tv and when I look back I'll be at Retry.
 
He's probably talking about how easy it is, if he fought it with completed level 9 crystariums for main jobs. Honestly all three battles were a joke at that point. The death spell didn't proc once, none of the fights lasted more than five minutes. Not going to bother watching the video for some insight, I know I enjoyed the game a lot, I don't care what some other guy has to say about it - no offense to those who do.
 
Anyone know of some decent money farming spots on the Archylte Steppe? I'm maxed out on CP atm but need cash to upgrade weapons.

Chocobo digging has 6% chance of 60k item. Other than that there isnt such a good spot till ch 12. Some people say cactuar dolls or mission 7 but those drop rates suck ass in my experience. Also if you do the robot quest in Oerba in chapter 11 you can get around 550k worth of materials for having taken 10,000 steps in Gran Pulse.
 
So I beat the boss of Chapter 11 but didn't take the ship.
Been doing more missions, and Death'ing Turtles for platinum ingots and trapezohedrons.
Want to make at least one ultimate weapon, and get the growth egg from Mission 55 before I head to Chapter 12.
