I am not posting to comment on the Dreams / Absolute situation. I am not involved. I am, however, involved in RidersOfRohan.
If they happened to run over when they were actually scheduled to be there at 5 that would be one thing. But they weren't. A few weeks ago Absolute moved a run to Sandy because we didn't have the numbers to do another zone. RoR was scheduled to enter at midnight but we could have gotten the time extension and run over into their time. Are you saying that would be ok? It's ok to be on someone else's time and they just have to deal with it? Why do we have a schedule at all if no one needs to adhere to posted times?
Dani/Absoulte,
While RidersOfRohan appreciates Absolute leaving in a timely manner, the above post implies several things. Those implications are:
-Absolute acknowledges the Dynamis schedule posted on QCDN.
-Observing said schedule, Absolute knew who would enter Dynamis-San d’Oria and when. (Using In-game communication hours before another shell’s run, in comparison to posting in advance on QCDN, as an attempt at justification, or putting forth effort, is as messed up as Hogan’s goat. Do not use it.)
-Absolute acknowledges it deviated from the posted schedule that they requested. The reason is not pertinent. Internal conflicts belong to that shell, not the FFXI community.
-Changing to another zone at the last moment results in a later entrance/exit time than what was scheduled.
-Absolute(Dani) acknowledges infringing upon another LS’s scheduled time is unjust.
By your own accord, if Absolute had stayed in a zone that they were not scheduled for in the first place, and encroached upon another LinkShell’s scheduled time, Absolute would have been in the wrong. Again, thank you for exiting before RidersOfRohan was to enter. But in the future, please adhere to the requests you are asking of other linkshells and reconsider Absolute’s options when making last minute changes.
RidersOfRohan respects the posted schedule and other shells’ time. It only asks for the same in return.
