No. Our first Kirin had very specific rules which stated any money item would be sold, the only exclusion to this rule being the Osode. Back then, Ols was still trying to lead sky and had implemented a point system which was later conveniently removed. Right after Ols gave Payge the Shining Cloth, he conveniently stepped down as the leader for failing as a leader and because he changed the rules to benefit Payge. So you are justifying changing the rules when it benefits one person instead of doing it with the entire LS in mind? No one changed the rules when I asked about it, but you'll change it when Payge stands to benefit from it? She may have spent a lot of time farming then, but what about now? Oh that's right, she's afk in Tavnazian Safehold doing shit for the shell still pretending she's a leader, abusing her power kicking members, starting shit (her words, not mine), and doing anything EXCEPT LEADING. Real quality leadership there.

Where did you do any skill ups or WS points you might have to do? farming water is great for those, and those pots are easy with 4 people.

As for me no longer goin with you to limbus. I work 3 12 hour days a week (usually get 4 hours of sleep each night), and one weekend we change the clocks ahead and i lost another hour of sleep. Needless to say that limbus day i fell asleep. Andy asked me to go with him the day after so i went. Then i started to think about some of the bullshit stuff that was said about a real life friend and some good in game friends, and i decided i wasnt really interested in working in a small group with those people.

Who gives a shit about the money!!!!!! Ive busted my ass for the past 8-9 months (i think >.>) and what have i gotten from sky? Some jobs get hooked up in sky, some dont. its always been that way. WHMs get some good gear (nobles, A legs, A head), rdm get crap (A hands + W legs are great, but they arent priority for either), does that mean no rdm should join a sky ls? Get you head out of your own ass and realize theres no "I" in "Linkshell" (laughing face here lol)

For the record Orestes, there was a point system still being implemented at the time we did Kirin, so in reality if Payge was elligible for the Shining Cloth, I should have been as well. But no, the only person even considered in that decision was Payge, not the LS, Payge. No decision concerning the LS should ever be decided because of one person, but because of the group and that's exactly what the shell did.

I know Lavi, i was in charge of points tally then. We were still very new to all this, and I don't see how it's that big a problem that our most deserving Whm got the cloth first. We said you would all get them, and you did.

I just didn't like that our first Kirin victory, which was very exciting, remains shrouded with drama. Thats how you learn though, and our LS made appropriate changes to it's system. The best thing we ever did was completely remove our points tally. That decision alone seperated the people who were there for the LS, and the people who only cared about themselves.

To me, this LS is great because we were all noobs, and did these things for the first time together, and we learned from it. Honestly, how fun would it be to go join an LS that has all it's strategies down to a science? Where's the challenge in that?

where to start? i'm actually really happy that the people who left are gone. the ls is free of the tensions from what i can see. In fact i would say that the problems we had in shell are pretty cleared up now cause of the people leaving.

1st kirin- points system clearly payge deserved it, she traded all her points for it, no one else had enough to outlot her for it. end of story. oh wait i remember sumer throwing a shit fit because she felt more deserving. result ditching the point system, ols stepping down as leader and underlying drama between payge and sumer elevated.

"long" periods of time with no HNM- bullshit we took down HNM frequently as long as i've been around in the shell (back in the TS days). there are periods of time where the ls focuses more on different things however and we don't get to HNM as much.

gods- we were a very successful shell we took down gods very regularly and multiple times a week this past summer and fall. it wasn't until there was a large part of the ls that wanted to get sea asap that we had a major slowdown in sky.

jedimind has it right on, the leaders have done as much as they can to please people who ultimately couldn't be pleased. we need more gods, so we focused on sky and did a few rounds of gods, people must have gotten bored cause it turned into lets do sea. in the process the people who don't have sea get left out (isn't that what you are bitching about lavi?), so they decide to focus in on missions for people.

limbus- i'd say we were successful here as well, lead by ishmaell who has done a fantastic job by the way. for the people who were bitching about the lack of sea content, isn't limbus enough for now? without the majority of the ls with sea access not a whole lot you can do anyways. too bad you left right as we had another big wave of people close to sea, we could have made a good dent in the sea gods.

lsbank- it got big a fat over the last few months. the people who left asked about it and asked for their share. WTF we have never paid people to do sky, why start now, especially since it was their choice to leave and it was clear they were leaving before even asking. for someone who bitches about changing the rules you seemed to have taken your share pretty quick lavi. oh and didn't we BUY you your nobles? oh yeah thats something that neophytal threw a shitfit over too. people worried about the bank and money from it, lame lame lame. i'm glad you left.

foofighter- as far as i'm concerned you are dead to me, i really wish i didn't make dusk gloves for you, you shafted the ls on the behemoth hide. from what i understand you only paid for half of it then left. must be why you didn't ask about your share from the bank. also please get the fuck out of the affinity forums for your dynamis ls. if it isn't affiliated with affinity anymore why are you using our boards still?

duffdeliveryguy- fuck you, grass is greener somewhere else so you are just going to shell hop around until you get what you want. this guy has a history of doing this. stuck around in ESP until he got his osode then outta there. i remember this cause he was buggin the shit out of me to get into affinity during this time. you also did something similar with dynamis ls's. i wish nothing but failure to you in the future.

sirelrohir- another example of the people better off gone. shitty pld, picky as hell and high maintenance. starts a KS30 run and asks anyone if they want to use orbs, i sent a tell to him saying i wanted in. then he realizes i don't have blm leveled, basically says you aren't welcome cause he thought i was blm. then when we get shafted by drops he sends me tells about distribution even though they totalled up to maybe 200k tops after we agreed it wasn't enough to really spread around the night before.

I agree with alot things in the post. I would like to comment that sfter reading rones and lavi post on saying "hello" meaning im kinda in loss of words. I beilve both of you are right yet both are you are wrong.
rones is right that saying hello to everyone that enter kinda get repetitive, More so in a endgame shell when you have large amount of members. If they are friend you should not have say hello all the time they know when you come on. Secoundly I know Im not the only one that miss about half of the thing said in linkshell chat because im doing something else or the chat screen is just fling by to fast.(even with that hold screen) Yet lavi is right greeting mean respect so I can see her side to.

Your message is good but little miss directed. In the same token one must look at the entire story, not just the first and last page. You are right each shell should have webpage.(though you have to find someone to run it) Not everyone here has the knowledge or the resources to run a website. Now for the miss guided part. You have over 18-40 members farming atleast twice a week to get pop items. What people dont realize is when you take a break for long period of time to be considered inactive, the shell is still running. The shell is still doing the repetitive farming and fighting gods/kirin every week. In that time new people come, In that time items drop. what items drop is consider pretty much luck for example we had like 4/6 odose in thast few kirin but have not seen a crimson legs or heca body in the last 8-9 kirins. You cant expect to get back in line after a break and skipping all though that have been waiting patiently while you was away. You want call it "jins farming" go right ahead personally none of us care, Though I say, to though reading one can not judge a book by 1 critic. If they did great movies like jaws would be a paper wight instead o f a blockbuster and a ride at Universal Studios.

I'll only say 2 things on this thread as I was in affinity for an ubber short amount of time

1) affinity got it done, I did 3-4 Kirin's with them, none over 1 hour. Every member I met was extremely nice and welcoming(some more than others obviously). If you want to make your home there, rest assured you have extremely competent players. I didn't leave because of any animosity or problems with the leaders, everyone was very nice

2) everything went to shit during 2 weeks of CoP "Help"(but alot of it seemed to be brewing for a while). This is when I found out who was there to help and participate in the shell, and who was there just to get gear or help their friends. I left with the people who seemed to sincerely care about helping others.

if any affinity member, especially Andreas, Pauk, Jedimind, Xanta, Btxpress, Oreste or anyone else I'm forgetting needs a hand, feel free to call on me. It's a shame anyone left with hard feelings towards each other in this whole silly ordeal. Maybe we should schedule a SeaShell/Affinity Brenner to alleviate some of the tension

First off, to those that say this shouldn't be talked about in this forum, let it be known that a few weeks before everything fell apart, several members made posts on Affinity's forums trying to address issues, myself included, to which i got the reply from Ols', "if you want to flame the leaders, take it to qcdn." Secondly, the "drama" which caused all of these problems was started BY THE "LEADERS." Some of us just had a problem with the stance they had where they would do something wrong, such as try to force a model member to give back an Osode he had earned, then belittle him in tells and ls chat, then when he got sick of it and quit, they telll us, "he left cause he was greedy, he got his gear and ran, he's a thief. I was labelled a troublemaker when i called bullshit on this. If you look at the screenshots lavi provided, you can plainly see who was starting drama. To me, i see Payge saying, "i'm about to start some shit in the ls." If she had a problem with Phishn, it could have been handled in tells i would think. So, for those of you who were not in Affinity, or those that are and are not looking at the facts, every issue of "drama" was started by one of the so called "leaders."

It says alot when i wasn't even on the same night all that shit went down, yet they went ahead and decided to block my site access anyway...and i thought it was you who told me you blocked me orestes, so effectively you broke my pearl. There were also 2-3 others that got their pearl busted that night that the screenshots show.

Jedi, let me go ahead and make this clear for you. No one gave a fuck about getting their 1.5 mil share of the bank or w/e it was. All of the statements regarding the ls bank were due to alot of members, some of which are still in Affinity wondering how a few of the leaders managed to buy about 60 mil in gear in the course of about a month. Whether or not it was true some were pilfering is beside the point. That was why the concerns about the bank were brought up by some. Those that did decide to get that gil, were doing so mainly out of spite, and i can't say that i blame them. The trust in a few ppl was dropping due to their own actions. They were being caught in lies left and right. If you are going to lie about shit, be smart and keep track of them so you can keep your story straight when it comes up again. Yes that includes you seeing as how you are the reason that whole arguement got started due to you running like a little bitch and telling what someone mistelled, conviently changing what was said to make it more juicy and cause more trouble. Then when you were called out on being the bitch, YOU lied about it saying you didn't say anything when the screenshots show you saying it lol.

I suppose the comment about someone getting sky gear was directed towards me, seeing how i got the last osode besides ols', who is now deleted........So yeah, guess i'm a greedy bastard who got my gear and ran just like they tried to say ekin did after they tried to strongarm him into giving back his osode. Then again, maybe you didn't read my post on Affinity's site before they deleted it, in which i said i would have given my osode to the greedy fuck who tried to get ekin's if they had the balls to come forward and say who they were. As Neo stated before, our rules changed whenever it was convienient to do so. In all previous cases of who was allowed to lot on Osode, the policy was that it was given to the MEMBER, not the JOB. If you think i am greedy, then that's your opinion, i would like to think that ppl that know me would think otherwise. If you aren't referring to me, then get some courage and say who exactly you mean instead of making cowardly generalized statements like that.

In limbus, had Ish running a nice section yes. And 2 of our members decide to go off on their own to farm coins after we decide to pool coins. They also randomed for the first 2 earrings. Do you think that they got pissed off that they lost? Came to my mind. Not only that, but the first earring given out, only went on one more run after that. The first af upgrade (40 coins for a body piece mind you) doesn't run with us either. So they got their gear and ran, wouldn't you say. Ish is like the nicest guy on the server, and his so called friends are fucking him over on something nice he was trying to do.

I especially enjoyed the leaders who schedule a cop mission week, and then help with 1 mission. Yes, a total of 1 mission, when a handful of others in ls with sea, helped with at least 1 mission PER DAY.

Another favorite of mine is being completely ignored as i offer to help in the killing of a UFO. Busy fighting my ass. I invited to form alliance... just have to accept... didn't know that was brain surgery. And in front of another ls to boot. It got me aggravate to be ignored by my own ls, so i said i hope they die. Which needless to say brought up comments from the ppl from the other ls.

I don't enjoy leadership that isolates themselves from ls. The power of the ls is with the members not the leaders. If they want to duo shit for the rest of their online lives more power to em.

I think atiba doesn't exist anymore, I think he's just a mule for someone. I want to see him reply on this post, so he can see how fucked up his shell is. No one has his qcdn password, and hasn't replied to any PM's on here in months. If his girlfriend wasn't such an idiot we might be having some fun doing stuff. They'll never do wyrms. They'll never do jailors.

You can keep the gil, i hope you choke on it. I never had a problem with any members in there, only the leadership. Excuse me for wanting to know who was next for drops, or suggesting to divy out a bulging ls bank. No reason to have that much in it.

I never liked helping people with CoP missions because when i went through we had a group of 10 or so. I was the only rdm, so i did every mission 2,3,4 times, spent way more money on reraise + ether than i wouldve liked. There was 2 groups going through when the ls broke. One was right behind the other. WHy didnt they join up to make 1 big group? i never unstood.

I'm way tto tierd to respond to everything said here, and my game time as of late has been cut way down due to RL stuff which is always always more important than this game which is increasingly less fun.

Lavi - I never had a problem with you before this, I really dont think my LS of 2 years should be dragged through this flameboard shit, I don't know why people can't just fucking move on. The only thing I will say about you is that you got your Noble's before Sumer which in my opinion was stupid since she is 100 X more helpfull than you ever were, and she was acctually around 100 X more than you.

To everyone else, I <3 Affinity and the people in it now, and almost everyone that has ever been in it, I would think that most people past and present know me pretty well, and know that I have always been there for anyone as much as I can despite a very unsteady RL schedule. I think its a goddamn shame that Payge's name is getting dragged through the shit, yeah I don't think she handled the drama from our LS the best way, but to be fair neither did Duff, Sumer, or anyone else involved in the shit. People make mistakes, it sucks, but move on with your life those of us in Affinity are trying to. I sat by and watch the shell fall apart and stated my opinions on our own private forum.

I have nothing against most of the people who left Affinity, but I would like to say the true victems of all this bullshit are those people that had little to nothing to do with this. Good people who are now either on breaks, quit the game, or for many of them who just have no endgame shell to get gear and have fun with.

In the words of one of my good friend Nyett "It is the people, not names, make linkshells" I can tell from this post that some people just want to cause drama, stirr up shit, and keep beating a dead fuckin horse and these are the people I don't care to associate with anymore.

On a side note, Sumer and Souj, you have helped more than your share of people in and out of Affinity, I hope only the best for you, and if you ever need a helping hand I'm only a /tell away. The same goes for any of the people who left Affinity, you know who you are so there is no need for me to post names.

Soujiro, Sumer, Foofighter, Bigherb... you guys were/are like family to me, now you are family with a different lastname, W/E i got alot of friends that aren't in Affinity, i hope our positive relationship with each other can continue.

Phisn, Duffdeliveryguy... i knew you guys a little less then those mentioned above, but still had only positive memorys of you all for the most part. i am glad that when i see you we still /wave and W/E. I wish you the best of luck and fortune in your new LS

People come and go, i have seen it before you can't expect there to never be tension or personality conflicts, but one of this magnitude really depresses me, i thought all the people involved in this were above and better then how they are acting. i hope that the punches and flames can stop flying and we can grow up and wish the best of luck to all our "friends" in what ever path they continue on.
