Um... that's wrong. There were several villages that were completely wiped out because it was suspected that a few were also soldiers. Maybe you should learn a little history before posting about this kind of thing.

Key word here is innocent. There were no innocent villages. Talk to people that lived it first hand. The children and women all took part in helping kill. The kids would wander into their camps with bombs trying to kill them and the women would act wounded/sexy to attract attention and boom...gone. There were no innocent villages yet a history book wont teach you that. There is no time in those situations to see who is/isn't innocent you just have to deal with them on the spot and move on.

I feel dumber just for watching that, and I'm kinda disapointed that nobody pointed this out: THOSE WERE FUCKING RACOONS, NOT RABBITS!!! in the middle of them talking about how wet seal uses rabbit fur, they have a video of a bunch of asians killing racoons.

FUCK PETA, and fuck their bullshit.

My father who was there would disagree with you.

I didn't watch the Video, because judging by the responses I don't rightly need to. After looking over the responses from Scary I have but one comment:

Roofie sock?

Its times like this I'm glad I donate money to PETA, I hope they bomb those skinners like there is no tomorrow. Jeez atleast kill the animal 1st. That poor thing sat the squirming the whole time, and then we saw it with no skin trying to stay alive. If I could, I would bomb them myself ...

Fur is murder I'm sorry. Just because someones rich-ass wants to look pretty, you need to pointlessly, and quite harshly kill animals? Yuck.

Does it matter? Just a little bit. If those animals were racoons (I'm not arguing if they were or not), then PETA needs to edit their propoganda to racoon, etc.

However, whether it is a rabbit, racoon, snake, horse, or whatever, all these creatures should be treated with some dignity. At least give them a lethal blow before skinning them. If the guy in that video could manipulate the anatomy of those animals so well, I'm sure it wouldn't behoove him to at least put them to death before he skinned them.
It was almost as if he was getting off from the flailing of the animals or the "naked" ones.

PETA has problems, but so does the person in that video.

I don't think that anyone is going to argue that what was in the video was wrong, but that isn't how it's normally done. I just can't get behind peta, they keep protesting pointless stuff in the most grotesque and violent way possible. I think that causes them to lose more support than they get.

I knew what was involved in skinning, but I really didn't want to see it, especially when the animal was still alive. Them showing stuff like this isn't going to make me stop eating meat/wearing fur(I don't anyways, but not because of this). It's just going to make me dislike their group for going to such extremes for their cause.

The blood would spoil the fur, thats how these people work.

PETA does far worse things to humans than they show happening to animals in their propaganda videos. PETA is a terriost group.

As for Vietnam, on a military scalethe US was dominate. We could go anywhere, take anything. We just couldn't keep control of it all at the same time. The problem was the government wouldn't allow the military to go offensive against North Vietnam, but were instead forced to fight defensively with one arm tied behind our backs. In addition, the 'president' (aka dictator) that was in charge of south vietnam made things worse than they should have been.

Majority of those stories of US soldiers massacering villages are made up by drafted soldiers angry at the Government and trying to stop the war, are the result of Vietcong fighters pretending to be villagers, or villages slaugthered by the Vietcong and blamed on the US. Yes, some civilians were killed, but much like Iraq it is caused by the enemy hiding as common citizens using gorilla style tactics.

Korea was victory for China and lose for the US because of 2 factors. First was generals not following the basic rules of advancement and the president's act of limiting the scope of the battle to Korea by stopping the advance at the river border. Had McArthur been allowed to continue on into China (they were already streaming across to fight us), the momentum would have been kept up and China would have fell.

Rones knows history :D and I'd say korea was never a loss nor a victory.. especially since technically the war isn't over.. and we've just been on a cease fire for the last 40ish years XD

You plant killer. What did that poor defenseless plant ever do to you? It’s just sitting there growing, sucking up the sunlight. Then bam it’s your salad. You should be ashamed of your self.

LMAO!! It had nothing to do with PETA philosophies or my farmhand experience, it was simply a health/diet choice not a poltical statement.

Rones my father was very impressed with your post.

Strid from my father, while there were cases of civilian doing the actions you described, it were not everybody body over there and in most cases the civilian performing theses actions where not loyal to either side. They knew if they did not corporate with either side, that there would be retribution, thus they played both sides of the field to survive.

Actually the same thing happened to me. I saw a doctor after about 2 years and he recommended a new plan. I began to Include Chicken and Fish and started taking Vitamin supplements. I never really had a problem with Muscle mass however.
