I have zero need for 1 coins, as does 95% of the server, because I don't have the money/dedication to get a relic weapon that I'd likely quit before I get it. That doesn't stop me from helping people who have actually set that as a goal though, and it doesn't mean that I have to make them pay absurd prices for the 1 coins either. I could have made a lot of money on some of my dynamis runs, but I sold them for 5k because I want to help them out.

Based on your attitude, the only people who "deserve" a fully-upgraded relic are people who are rich as fuck and can pay the current grossly-inflated prices on ancient currancy. You're not helping anyone but yourself with your system, you sell the coins for 40k and make a killing each run. I know, I know, you like to say how you're going to save all that money for the LS to pay for the next runs, but with a single city run, you'd pay for a month's worth of dynamis and that excess would just continue to build. silly dipshit.. I never said my gear was better than yours.. I don't care to. I get my gear with help from friends too.. you know.. people that don't just care about a profit? I'm currently after an enfeebling earring and I do the ENM with friends. Now, they want gear from this ENM or others so we do those too and if they drop, guess what? we give it to em. We like helping each other out for gear and things and not always thinking "me me me". As for my gear.. I always try to get the best I can. Normally I do what I can to avoid buying it so I can save gil for future things. Most low level gear is crafted though so I buy that fine. Even if it's too much I do buy it. If it drops from a NM or some mob I go and hunt it until I have it. I don't care to focus my ways around the gil in the game. I'm sorry if I don't conform to the belief that money = life. As for my scorpion harness.. well guess what? I got that from Odon's KS30 run the one time I did it. (been saving KSs now for KS99 so people in my LS can get gear from the KS fight). Wanna know where it is? I am letting my friend borrow it while he levels NIN up. Soon he'll be able to use the osode he has for NIN but until then he's had it. He's had it since he's leveled WAR too. If he wants to level THF or something that uses it.. sure.. he can borrow it. Wanna know what will eventually happen to my Scorpion Harness? After the one job I care to use it on has passed the level to something more suited for it... well.. I plan to give it to either a friend of mine that needs it or to my love who is (slowly) leveling MNK and will most likely want to use it. Sure I could sell it for the 10mil or so now and get closer to the gear or relic upgrades but I don't put all my needs and desires over my friends and such like you seem to not mind to do and others in the game don't mind to do. My goals might be something I want to really achieve... but my friendships are far more important to me.

It won't end things, in all honesty. To end it, you'll have to restrict Peregrine's access. Take a look at his track record. It always happens when he finds a thread that has a post against his views. He has to always put in his 2 cents no matter the topic, and it always leads to things like this, because of how he goes about putting in his opinion. There's a huge shift going on. I'm still trying to figure out what's going on with the prices and why it's going out of control, but I checked all of Jeuno and the Jeuno area and could not find a single vendor that was selling for under 40k. That means that every coin for under that was already bought, indicating that 40k is now the price that meets the supply/demand quota.

It might be limbus-related, although more than likely the server simply reached a breaking point where 15k wasn't doing it for the people who want coins.

While I don't accept people who would just leave their shell because they want to get their coins-on, you're more than welcome to buy coins from me. They will be at market price though, and I'm going to start paying more attention to the bazaar market price. I lost 66 coins @15k before confirming that prices had indeed shot up to 35k+. The week before I sold 95 for 11k...It won't happen again, no matter how ridiculous the prices get.

But yeah...if the "million+" for a 100 bill is outrageous to you, go ahead and throw that dagger away. Seriously, I'm doing you a favor by telling you now. It takes a solid dynamis shell around 7 months to get enough coins to upgrade a single person. If you want to realistically upgrade, you will be buying coins for market price.

I will extend the same courtesy to most every other user when it comes to conflict situations, which is why I can't consider the track record, because it was not attained on my watch.
