I got my Relic Dagger, I need to buy some coins.

They still have access to lots of other things. Dynamis was another thing SE made where 1) taking coin out of the servers and 2) trying to institute the community working together. Sadly, greed and selfishness and perhaps even jealousy have kept this from happening. Those rules above prevent that greed, jealousy, selfishness, whatever, from ruining those that really are set on getting these long term goals done. True, it would not be needed in a shell of friends/strong bonds but there aren't many of those around on our server. Dynamis was, like sky and KS and BCNM and other end game things of great difficulty, built completely on the idea of people working together to achieve such great goals. Look at absolute virtue. That'll never be killed unless strong support from each other before they even reach it. You need top of the line gear to even have a chance at making it pop. If a LS was pimped out with the best abj, rare/ex gear, and a few having relic weapons.. they would prolly have a good chance of beating it. For people that need gil and go to dynamis for gil are fools. They would make more gil farming, crafting, BCNM, KS, gardening, chocobo digging, etc compared to dynamis in hopes of maybe 3-4 coins if the game lets you get them.

Those who barely know the other members of the dynamis run, and who most certainly have plans of their own, should be restricted from getting coins?

Unfortuntely, with the attitude of many players, a restriction being set seems to be the only way for anyone to get anywhere with their relic. I have yet to see a shell as a whole cheer on the upgrading members...The one's who have been trying for some time, and are MUCH further down the road.

As a matter of fact, the general reaction Elemmire, Phraust, and myself were greeted with upon breaching into the second stage of the upgrade was selfish. Very few were congratulating and cheering us on, hoping to help us along...Most turned around and foolishly thought, 'hay if they can do it we can 2!111!!1'

I remember as the 3 of us worked together with DynamisPants attaining coins, people were very helpful. But once we all reached Stage II and DP basically disintigrated, everyone turned their backs on us and began to gouge coin prices and try to cut us off at the pass to beat us to what we had been working so kindly together to achieve. Not saying that no one else should try, but look at all the people who hoard coins and will never do shit with them(And please, if you don't think 90% of the people hoarding coins will just quit and sell their coins for a truckload one day, you are lying to yourself).

So yea Sculli, it would seem the only way to even get large groups of people to work together towards this is to restrict them with rules and laws. I don't agree that's the best way to do, but let's face it...30 people with Stage III weapons is worthless compared to at least 1 with a fully upgraded weapon.

I hope that the enviroment changes when I get my mule up to that level. I want the Spharai and that's what my mules name is. I should just start buiing the coins I need now so I can do the first couple of stages right off the bat once I get the relic nuckles.

Not to rain on your parade, but that's exactly the type of behavior that is stopping so many people from finishing.

And on topic note, unless SE introduces another way to get coins, it will only get worse with the current actions of buyers/sellers.

I totally agree. History has shown that dictatorships were far more productive than democracies, at a price paid of course, but still.

In terms of this thread I just wanted to make sure I understood correctly. There is nothing wrong with rules as long as they are well known ahead of time, so that there is little drama after the fact.

well.. the rules I presented were more to try and be fair to all. With how much a good dynamis shell can get in one run (synthesis items, AF2, 100 coins, 1 coins) it would be fair to all. The only kink in the rules I presented would be a corrupt/injust leader selling those 1 coins off to others for more money than 500k/# of coins dropped. But I see that as eventually failing cause as soon as they do so.. they will be found out, no doubt about it, and they will lose their dynamis shell.

The irony of all of this to me is that Dynamis was never though of as a profitable thing to do. It was always hyped up because of AF2. I miss the days people didn't give two shits about their coins and were glad to give them to you for whatever you wanted.

Didn't have a discussion about cooperation? On some other thread I belive. My ls is donating all dynamis money to our bank, and are funding upgrades. Of course who ever is lucky enough to be the one for the current focus funding still has to provide the weapon components himself as well as some of the money... think about it.

on average you got what, 46 people a run? Lets say on low averages everyone gets 1 single coin. Thats 46 coins,no? It adds up, 3 runs and you have 100 coins, I know it will still take a while, but considering 100 coin drops and that usually people get more then 1 money a run,it won't be so bad. it makes upgrading relics go from being impossible to just a difficult slightly longterm project. Our ls is composed of friends, we are not greedy, we donate our money to our ls bank. This of course means relic weapons are within reach now, since instead of stugglnig alone the ls shares the work as a -team-. Seeing the extreme social nature of the game I believe this is what S-E had in mind in the first place.

Apui is actually a mule from a member of QuestFantasy, whom I have traded coins with a spoken with on many occasions. He is most definitely upgrading and gets many coins per day shouting at 15k price.

Its cashell's.

No I am not. I am looking to buy coins. I already have a Dynamis LS.
Understood, just looked like you mentioned joining a different dynamis to get coins as well. In either case, feel free to post your WTB coins to the AH again, this time around there shouldn't be any derailing.

What "behavior"?

At which point I'll stand doing nothing while I see you get pummeled from the all the mages spamming debuffs and melee with Kraken Clubs

I suppose he told you that? I talked to him about joining QF awhile back and he basically shit talked QF saying they were all kids and housewives who were immature and had little patience for anyone that can't understand their japanese instantly.

Actually I'm good friends with a few of the QF members includeing cashell, But no he didn't tell me that, rooi did.

I'll ask cashell later tho if you want.

Oh and btw... they don't really consider you a good friend. They just consider you another NA, just like every other NA they know. They even let me kill some HNM's with them and they still only consider me another NA, just not a shitty one like they claim 99% of NA's to be.
