Get this game because it owns in general. Yes its a great RPG but its the kind of game you don't just forget after beating it, kinda like how I retained a lot of ff7 after beating that. And the replay value I find to be fairly high, I beat it 2 times will work on third time through next week sometime when I'm in between Super Smash Brothers Brawl and Crystal Chronicles:Ring of Fates...And shit Army of Two...man this is going to be one hell of a busy week O.o

I have decided this would will be another of the very few RPG'S I replay. Maybe in a couple months but I will play again.

This game does own in general. I have only found one thing that (for lack of a better word) irritates me, the almost "fixed" camera angle. I am a very thorough gamer. I have always been, I like to search every inch of a screen before moving on to ensure I have collected and examined anything and everything available to me ingame. The camera angle in this game can be tricky for a person such as myself lol.
BUT WTF EVER, this game ROX THE CASBAH!

I'm hoping my brother buys CC:RoF for me because he's been looking for a multiplayer RPG. I'll pick this up the night I go to get SSBB because that's already paid off, and I sold 4 games the other day and got 80 some dollars for them.

Glad to hear this game is win.
 
I just got to the merchant town. This game is amazingly hard for me for some reason, seems I have to retry almost all of the bosses 4 or 5 times. Not that I mind, of course, but damn...


I'm also going to go on a google hunt to find out who the voice actor for Jansen is. The guy has done an incredible job, Jansen is the most "animated" voice acted character I've ever seen done in a video game.

I think the instruction manual would have to give him credits. Picked it up today got about 6 hours in and only at the White Boa I feel like I'm going really slowly maybe because I'm actually reading the dreams.
 
I have also been reading all the dreams. It just adds more substance to the story line, gives more insight to the character Kaim and how he's come to be.

I have gotten as far as the Black Cave and stopped.

Looking at the Merchant town, it looks cool. The lil girl that asks what the hell you're looking at and to just go die somewhere made me lol.

That's the exact spot I last saved it at because it was getting late. The town is creepy, no?

Yeah I'd say so. You can tell by the blue aura around certain npcs who's been effected by the "magic" or w/e the cause is. Other npcs are freaked out bc of certain ppl.

Another one of those games I could play for countless hours >.<

I just got Ming and I'm around 13 hours. I spent an hour in Numara trying to figure out where to go then found the ghost town.

Spoiler:
Fuck the funeral scene it was a hell of a lot sadder than FFVII's funeral. Still a good ending.

yea first time I played, it took me forever to find out where to go. Went to crimson forest and stayed there for an hour confused.

So did I! It came up with the exclamation after I was released went there and got a level then went around thinking I missed something in Numara, and finally went there.

yea, I think it took me an hour or two before I found out where the ghost town was because the only people that hint you are the people right next to the zone
:-P
 
A good thing to always consider, ALWAYS look in the world travel menu to see all the options available. Go where ever you see is a new option whether it has to do with the story at that moment or not.


PROTIP: There are places you cannot revisit after certain cutscenes.

Jansen is by far my favorite char. of the game. Got about 80 hours into the game and then beat it love the game. Playing from the start again.
 
i may have to try this game out it looks sick nasty, i like FF but i never really played it much i never had a playstation i always had to watch my friends play :(

on disc 3, tons of cinematics... friggin glorious!!!! I LOVE THIS GAME.

Gongora IS a bitch.. and Jansen is the man lol.. Ming obviously a lil thick >.>
