Lowbie BLMs not using any INT gear

Is it a freaking secret that BLMs are supposed to have INT?

I never, ever seen BLMs with INT gear anymore, from the dunes up to about yhoator. They're always loaded up on MP gear, and even sometimes wear Zealot's Mitts (!) which give -2 INT for a measly +5 MP...not enough for even a Stone spell.

I...just...don't...get it.
 
Just wondering if you tried mentioning it to the blms you're talking about. This seems like a pretty easy thing to fix.

Or you could just be blunt and say, "Damn, your gear really sucks dude. Go buy more int."

I can understand it coming from somebody who just bought the game. BLM was my first job, and I made a few mistakes along the way. I didn't even know about moldavite earring until some ranger was kind enough to point out that I should have one... And I remember nuking EVERYTHING in an ice staff. Yeah, I've had my moments.

BLMS at valkurn dunes lvl typically wear w/e anyways... It really doesnt matter what they wear because UNLESS there is a pwrlvler... more than likely the blm should be spam cure1ing the tank to backup the whm or lolsmn.

I wore Zealot mitts when i knew that i had to cure the tank...

It may be a mistake on his part... but that doesnt mean you should flame him for it.
 
Once they can get seer's gear, everything SHOULD stop. Seer's = lvl 29. So that's why u say up to yhoator jungle. Even before these lvls a BLM's job will prolly be more heavily dealing with healing. Using a pie for +int and mp should solve most problems during those levels. If RMT had options to use b4 Seer's, you would see them have it on at sky and w\e they exist.
 
well to call a spade a spade seers is the about the best low lvl INT gear you can get your hands on. that being said there are other items the give INT prior to 29 and most are pretty cheap. so there is no excuse for not having all the INT gear you can pre seers.

Anymore? You have no idea how many BLM's I saw geared like this through the lvls. It's nothing new, tbh. Lol "up to yhoater", try well into the 50's and 60's.

We've been plagued with this for what, 4 years? if it's not a blm with negative int it's a war using greatswords stacked with mind gear or whatever the fuck goes through the minds of these retards today.

MMO Fact of life. 90% of all the people you meet online are complete and total cockmongers. get used to it.
 
This just happens at the low levels? How about some of the BLMs that hang out at the flan camp in Zhayolm? :D

And, I'm not saying that every now and then there's a well-geared BLM out there. Every single BLM I've seen before garlaige is geared for MP and MND. I've tried sending tells, but I get called elitist.

I mean, sure, you have the odd sword WAR, and that's not what I'm talking about. This goes beyond "omg newbs have bad gear". This is "every single BLM I've seen pre-citadel does not know what INT is".

I have not been in the dunes of recent on my blm... because well its 75.

BUT i do know that pre 29 there is only 1-2 pieces of gear NON rings that give you int. The point im trying to make is this

UNTIL whm gets cure2, and is able to use it w/o draining his entire MP Pool, you need other healers... MP and MND assist cures. Hence the reason some people prefer gearing so.
