Hardly. Its something called precident. When you can give games that hugely don't deserve it (halo 3) and a great game that deserved a high score, but maybe not a 10 (GTA IV) it sets one. I remember awhile back when Brawl was being reviewed, someone gave it a 6/10. What kind of hate mail do you think that reviewer got from people? What kind of threats do you think someone would have gotten had Halo 3 not gotten 10's across the board?
You can play the "different people, different opinions" card all you want, but that doesn't make you any less naive.
Great use of sarcasm though. It really made you seem cool.
I guess a good point is think about how many top scores Bioshock got, and that game is not a casual, everyone and their mother will kinda like it game. I don't see why MSG4 should get different treatment.

I can see what ya mean kinda fire but that type of thinking doesnt work here... With FPS being second largest share of game type and popularity, second only to sports games...

actually, I think The Sims/Sim City those kinda games beat Sport and FPS in sales easily

Yeah that's excessive to say the least. The cutscene will need to have save points in the middle of it.

If not save points, at least being able to pause would be nice. I was talking to a friend today who has three kids and he was saying there better be a way to pause since doing anything with kids around is tough.

The wording.how do you know they don't mean 90 minutes worth of cutscenes?

Brawl got a perfect but there are currently no 360 titles with a perfect, which I'm not surprised about.

A. Right away you are trying to make the review a console debate because you now have a good score to go off.
B. They are extreemly biased towards JP games and rightfully so lol...
C. They also gave Haze a 34/40... Lol... Worste game i have purchased this gen...
Now i swear i am not bashing ya. Just saying a while ago everyone was panicing in this thread from 8/10 scores... Which none of this matters but are still great scores. Then the site we know is going to give it a perfect score goes and gives the perfect score... Now automatically we must know if any other console has a 40/40 game in Famitsu... Try DS games lol..

A. no, I was geniunely curious if 360 or Nintendo games got a perfect score I'm honestly surprised MGS4 did.. I really enjoy the MGS series but I don't know of any game that's ever gotten a completely perfect score.
