Haven't seen him yet, still in act 2. I hope to god he doesn't whine as much as he did in MGS2. Don't tell me anything! O_O

From the trailer with him vs Vamp it looked sweet. Honestly though, Otacon needs to punch vamp or kick him in the balls for what he did to E.E. in MGS2.
 
I was always glad E.E died in 2. Stupid bitch didn't know how to swim.

idk, kinda made me cry in a way. I felt really sorry for Otacon then =/

Besides, I think a fear of water due to almost drowning made is a pretty big reason why she couldn't swim =P (btw I've watched the same TV advert for MGS4 here on British TV 5 times in the past half hour and it kicks ass.)
 
Yeah, it was sad but I truly hated taking her through the water. Hardest part in the fucking game IMO. <_<;

Even harder than facing all those Metal Gear RAYs all at once? Or fighting Solidus?
 
Yeah actually. Ray was cake if you knew how to time it so you didn't get hit with bullets(I've done all difficulties) and Solidus can be killed by hiding on the edge of the roof. Escorting her is the hardest part for me, at least.

Anyone else push Select instead of start when you get a Codec call? <_< lol

I changed the ring tone on my phone to the codec call today. I am such a nerd lol

And yes, I keep hitting select for codec calls. I miss calling someone for saves too, and then talking about ridiculous stuff. So sad.

I had to change my phones data to make it think it was a Razr since it doesn't have native data transfer. Then I just used Motorola Phone Tools to transfer data using a regular mini USB cable.

My phone rang when I went in GameStop today and the sorker there just turned to me and said "Is that you Snake?"

my ring tone is final fantasy 7 victory fanfare, and my text message/ email / codec is mgs1 codec

not that there might be any different in any version games codec noise, i just happend to extract the sound from the first game.

You can switch Select to Codec in options.

Well my first time through was pretty long. I do not remember the actual time, it was like 16-17 hours...

Second time through i skipped all cut scenes which were way too much of the game lol, like 4 hours at least... I do understand they were pretty much neded tho.

I just exposed the games load screen lol... If i knew where the zone was i would just run there regardless of people chasing, which most of the time they are just paying attention to rebels lol... After the zone they vanish.

If i could not use this tactic i would just gun it out and move on... The game could have been finished in 3 hours i am sure, if not for chapter 3 making you slow down.

I can not understand something... If i remember right in the older games you were somewhat limited to weapon ammo... If they want me to be all stealthly why give me and option for pretty much infinite ammo lmao...

Also fire the difficulty was set to default.

EDIT: Had to edit because as i went to check my time and see if i was fast, Some people have appearently beat the game in 3hours lol... How did they get through chapter 3 so damn fast...
