Mousasi is one of my favorite fighters and I see him as being close to or even the #1 LHW fighter in the world right now. I'm excited to see him win Dream's Super Hulk Tourney too.

Vitor Belfort is also an amazing welterweight who I saw might fight Anderson Silva which in my eyes would be an amazing fight because both Silva and Belfort are amazing fighters. Belfort has improved so much over the years and I feel like right now he could pose a serious threat to Silva so we will see how he performs in this fight card.

I feel that Barnett and Fedor might be another short fight since Fedor has made quick work of UFC HW champions.

Oh I know the process is drastic. The only thing I have to base it on is watching The Ultimate Fighter seasons, and they would usually drop 7 lbs a day as an extreme, the average was like 5lbs. So I just can't imagine someone actually gaining over 20lbs in a couple days. lol

I.Just.Can't.Imagine!

But annnnyway. Like I said earlier I'll take your guysesesses word for it, I really don't have any personal experiences to draw from.

Just a little insight, once you make weight, you eat like a mother fucker, everything in sight, if not then you wont be worth half a shit in the ring

Why is this allowed? If the weight classes are outlined in black and white wtf is the point of establishing the scales to begin with if they're not going to follow-thru

I think that is just how it goes. I never really liked it much either since it does really kind of make weight classes pointless. I think most fighters cut at least 10-15 lbs to make weight.

There really is a certain skill involved in the whole weight cutting process to do it right so that you aren't shitty come fight time.

I don't really agree with it, but its just accepted. I remember reading about a dude that walks around at like something ridiculous like 180-190 and cuts to 145. I mean...having size is a nice advantage but come on.

See I was completely unaware of these politics. I knew cutting weight was a lot of times a drastic change in weight, but I thought they had to maintain it, with minor fluctuations being acceptable. Not fucking fast gaining back beyond the allowed weight class scales, that's just... stupid.

Most people will do anything to gain an advantage over their opponent including this and steroids which half of MMA seems to be on.

i can see walkin around at a weight that is one class higher but 2 classed higher? thats frickin retarded.

Yea it doesn't make sense. It defeats the whole damn purpose nvm.

There may not be much of a choice with heavyweight, but all the other classes, UFC needs to be a bit more strict. Like hell they're paying their fighters enough.

All sports with weight classes are the same

they should put a limit as to how much over you can be for a certain class. if your over that weight then you should be moved up a class.

Valesquez would have a good shot at Lesnar. He's a big boy, he's fast and he's got solid kicks.

Ewww fuckin garbage. Fedor went to srikeforce, and idk what it is but I just don't like strikeforce.

Who cares

Fedor and Lesner will probably never be, but ehhhh it's Fedor's lost not Lesners. Strikeforce will probably set up dominos for Fedor to knock down, but Lesner will be the sensantion around the world. I believe that this last deal that was regected was the biggest mistake for Fedor if it wasn't about the money and about the title of greatest then he should have signed, but if it was about the money the amount they offered him was out of this world for a MMA fighter. I can say that Fedor is a puppet and easily controlled and with someone like that what's the point he may be good, but we will never know if he was the greatest. . . . .oh well

Alright alright, I wasn't going to make any predictions.. but I have to say Forest is taking Silva.

I don't know why, as I had said before it would be a hard call, could easily go either way. Maybe some esp is kicking in but Forest is taking this boys!

$20 calls it.

I gotta agree with the above. Forest is just damn scrappy. Sorta like Clay Guida with a haircut.

/hangs her head

I'm ashamed.. and disappointed.

First 3 fights were uneventful. The third with Hendricks and Amir was stopped pre-maturely. Not that that went unnoticed. Why would the ref call it when he could barely see? He had not got himself in a clear point of view to really gauge the landed punches. I can understand it looked vicious from behind.. but he was behind!

Forest and Silva /sigh. I again got irritated with Silvas dance, I find it mocking and cocky, just makes me want to see him get poked reeeal good. Silva, the man sees everything in slow motion I swear to christ! He's so god damned accurate and although he doesn't have 'heavy hands' he does know how to transfer his energy into the pinpoint precision pokes.. blah. I wanted Forest to take him and really thought he would. I'll have to keep my eye out, Forest may have developed a bit of a glass jaw ; ;

Penn and Mr. Kenny Flo, Kenny is a tough guy, he's a bit of a scrapper and very well rounded. Pretty tough. I TOLD him Penn was going to set the pace and he didn't listen >< They should give me a live feed for crying out loud! More fights would be won by my choosen fighters lol

Penn caught him in a textbook fucking choke. Kicking his sides like Joe said getting him to defend dropping his arms, boo. Textbook, and he shouldn't have fallen for it.

I want my money back rofl. Seriously I'm not happy with the out come. Not that the main events were poor, they just didn't turn out the way I wanted.

This did not compare to UFC100, im very disappointed in Griffin. There is no excuse for getting knocked down 3 times in under 3 minutes. I want to see Griffin Vs. GSP or Hendo again. There is also talk that Dana White might force Silva to fight Machida which would be interesting.

I want to know why the hell Griffin ran off after the fight? Embarrasment?
