morrigan's robe on quetz.

You only need to prove something to someone if they don't know or believe what you have said. I believe you already knew he was in the shell making it pointless for him to prove it.
Yes, but everyone else didn't. If I went and threw out a random accusation (not saying Jamal's accusation was random, but this is an example) that I've personally witnessed Jamal hack (not saying I have seen. Once again, this is an example). Jamal knows he didn't hack, but I'm sure he, and others, would still ask for proof.

*skims topic* Damn this got long in the one day I didn't check it.

So from what I'm seeing... Uzor got bored and decided to defend Pchan, despite the logic against him? And then the subject changed to hacking somewhere along the line?

(Logic, as summed up in Vil's post.)

He wasn't trying to prove it to anyone but you. Now read my post again and you will see how your example doesn't fit. If you really can't understand then I am done here it is pointless to talk with you.

If you can't understand my point, you might as well stop posting since you're obviously too stupid to understand anything anyway.

Nice use exactly what I said as a come back. Done with this post.

Yes, Your post was so intelligent that I felt I had to reuse it. At least you're smart enough to notice.

*digs out logic*

As he demonstrated he did understand - but disagreed with - your point (by responding to the point itself: "He wasn't trying to prove it to anyone but you."), the "if clause" of this statement would be false, therefore rendering the "then clause" of the statement quite meaningless.

The fact that he then stopped posting was because of his own, previously given reason for ceasing posting (read: *your* not acknowledging *his* point and being deliberately obtuse when faced with his comeback). Not because of the meaningless conditional statement here.

Just making sure you're not patting yourself on the back for the wrong reasons.

And on a side note, I'm vaguely surprised this thread hasn't gotten split by a mod yet, it'd be nice to get back to looking at salvage gear piece by piece and thinking about relative usefulness (compared to other gear and compared to other jobs) for the various jobs.

And I have experience with Pchan every goddamn Sunday and it's almost enough to make me want to quit a goddamn linkshell. .

Then GTFO. Bold the part when you lie. This LS is diing since noone bother farming chips. The ppl of the LS you claim to be retards are the one coming every wednesday/sunday to farm chips and coins.

I understand his point. I just find it stupid. And I don't make it a habit of patting myself on my back.

I want a Morrigan's robe on my Black Mage, so my nukes will do more damage.

And I want it for my RDM, then I can sell my Vermillion Cloak.

Should have stayed with me then instead of doing tai-chi with your mother!

One would think an argumentative person like yourself would explain *why* you thought it was stupid rather than simply taking a dismissive attitude. Especially since he similarly thought *your* argument was stupid and actually explained why. You obviously both think the other's argument is stupid, but I'll give props to the one who went on to give a reason. :P

(In case you're curious as to what I'm talking about, you never actually came up with a counterpoint to his very valid point that Jamal himself was the only person you actually needed to prove anything to - if the peanut gallery had wanted proof, they would've asked for it after all.)

I'm going to ignore the last forty pages of this thread and the fact that most of you probably saw this already and post something shiny.

Ain't he perdy?

I already explained why earlier. My previous points still stand.

And his point wasn't for me to prove something to him.

Hmm, I guess I didn't - and still don't - get your point then, either. So, not being one to argue against a point I don't understand even after re-reading the relevant posts (guess I'm too stupid, as well), I'll bow out of this.

If I had NIN leveled I'd use that Usukane armor alot also.

It's quite good.

It's not really that good for ninja, unless you somehow have the entire set, and the haste turns out to be something amazing. Especially the body, though it would make a nice WS peice, relic and just plain hauby are better for melee. Rest of the set was covered by... I think it was Decidence, back in the thread where we first found about about this stuff. I'll look around for it. I'd say he's wrong about a couple things (Meat NIN does work, 16 attack will beat 8 STR), but it's a good comparison.

MNK and SAM, on the other hand, it's absolutely amazing for.

*edit* Yea, here it is:

Unless the "Enhance Haste Effect" is equivalent to 20% haste or more I don't see the Usugane armor replacing my current gear for NIN in MeritPT. It will however be more situational gear. Haste is where it's at for NIN and frankly this new gear doesn't have enough of it. Let's examine further...

Usukane Somen
DEF:20 STR+3 AGI+3 ACC+7 EVA+7 Haste+3%

For TP: Probably better damage then Walahra Turban over time, but for someone with capped Accuracy already in Merit PT I'm not sure I have the inventory room to carry this piece around all the time. I would have to be swapping in Walahra for Utsusemi anyways. Would really have to test it out, and SE needs to give us more Inventory space.

For WS: Shura Kabuto is better (+5 STR and +5 ACC).

Usukane Haramaki
DEF:40 STR+8 DEX+8 INT+8 ACC+12 EVA+12 "Store TP"+6

For TP: Does this piece finally dethrone Koga Chainmail (+12 Acc, +16 Atk). I think so and probably by a decent amount, but it's not something that by itself will set two NIN's apart by much.

For WS: I don't think so. Haubergeon +1 has 2 less STR and DEX but 11 more ATK. And Attack means quite a bit on your WS's in Merit PT. However you might bring this piece along for WS's on HNMs and such.

Usukane Gote
DEF:20 ACC+10 EVA+10 "Subtle Blow"+5 "Counter"+2

For TP: Dusk Gloves and Koga Tekko will blow these away in a Merit PT. The only time I would use these is on mobs that you don't want to give TP too and possible need more accuracy/evasion on.

For WS: Simply no. Koga Tekko and Bandomousha Kote will outperform these, the only NIN that would use these is someone that doesn't have much accuracy in other places for their Jin's to be returning max TP a majority of the time.

Usukane Hizayoroi
DEF:30 STR+5 DEX+5 ATT+10 Haste+3%

For TP: I don't think these are a replacement for Byakko's Haidate. They are a viable substitute and may raise your damage per hit a little but over time I think the large increase in DEX (Acc and Crits) and extra Haste on Byakko's will outperform.

For WS: Has the potential to outperform Byakko's Haidate for Jin's. But not by a lot. Will be a good piece for HNM's though as STR becomes a lot more important on mobs of very high level.

Usukane Sune-Ate
DEF:22 ACC+7 ATT+7 "Store TP"+7 Haste+2% Enmity+5

For TP: I think this will definitely replace Fuma Sune-Ate, you only lose 1% haste overall and the other stats are hard to say no too as a NIN.

For WS: Maybe for some, but for most I think people will stick with Rutter Sabatons or Marine M Boots.

Dynamis gear for NIN aside from Koga Chainmail/Koga Tekko is all situational, used for boosting Ninjutsu Skill (Feet) or Damage (Head) and for HP Builds (Legs). Basically all this new gear will do to Ninja's is make Koga Chainmail not the cream of the crop anymore for TP Build. And as far as Sky is involved, the only piece NIN's ever really need from sky is still the best piece (Haidate).

PUP was omitted from the list for a reason.

(Seriously, it's their ONLY good melee gear, do I actually have to say it's good for them? And WTF at PUP actually getting it without SAM or MNK leveled.)
