Anyone else a big NBA fan?
I've been out of it for a few years for a combination of two things.
1. The Celtics hadn't fielded a decent team in almost 20 years, lol.
2. Everyone and their brother was a major thug.
Luckily, young stars a la Wade and Bron-bron have helped reverse the thug trend a little (Still stuck with AI though.) and KG and Rayray have rejuved my beloved C's.
I honestly didn't think the Celts would be so fired up to defend their title this year, but they're looking amazing. A much improved Cavs team, with Lebron looking like he may end up being the greatest player to ever play the game, and the Lakers actually playing a bit more defense this year, it's gonna be a tough road, but I honestly believe that the Celts are playing the best ball right now. If we can beat out the Cavs and make it to the finals I'm sure we can beat the Lakers in the finals, but beating the Cavs will be very tough, for sure.
Also, I could see the C's beating the Bulls' mark of 72-10 this year, too.
