Yes, mostly because I'm dyslexic.

And I was mostly referring to the group of 6 BLMs that goes in and burns a KS30. Would that be called BLM party, BLM burn, manaburn, or something else?
 
Well the term began as "Cannon party," being that it might feel like the BLMs are a bunch of cannons, firing shots into the enemy.

And then rangers came out and cannon party could refer to either.

Manaburn specifically means an exp party with MP users as the damage dealers. noticably, both BLM AND SMN, who can work together there. Although I've found SMN to be inferior at spike damage, their only advantage that they don't pull hate(not really an issue in exp).

Mai, i can solo that BC, 6 of ANY job could probably do that bc. if 6 whms got bored they could. people bitch and cry but they're too lazy to go and do it.

Maybe crying will get it changed. Seems to have worked for all the jealous cry baby pansies like peregrin.
 
Am I the only one laughing that there's so many BLMs crying in their glasses when they don't even know what's getting nerfed/fixed? How do you know it's not gonna be some minor crap like what they did with RDMs and Cure V?

For all people know it might just be a quicker elemental resistance buildup, which would in the end just mean every BLM in the alliance casting a different elemental spell on the timer instead. But whatever, gogo security blanket.

You must have missed where I said this would make some fights impossible if they did that resistance build up crap.

Sorry, I guess I can't seriously think of an example where the "build up crap" would totally screw a group, except maybe Vrtra and Tiamat..though feel free t gimme an example or two, I seriously can't think of anything otherwise =/



And I hafto agree with Baja...more times than not I get turned down by BLMs because of the "sorry, manaburn only" excuse. I personally don't have a problem with manaburns or cannons or whatever, but once people start looking for only one type of party, then there's a problem.

Just because there's only one known way to kill a certain monster doesn't mean thats the only way. It means people found one way that works and they're milking that method for all it's worth because they don't wanna spend the time looking for an alternative means.

I have no problem with people preferring better xp. I have a problem when people go and say stupid crap like "BLM (or whatever) cannon only." It's no better than someone disbanding a party because it has a DRG or a BST or a DRK or PLD or whatever in it.



And I'm sure those summoned skels and dogs Vrtra craps out are a total BLM necessity. No chance they could just be CFH'ed and mowed down like the gods Kirin craps out or something....

Do those summoned mobs even have a lot of HP? Cause if not, having one PT of BLMs just casting different -ga III spells the mob's not strong vs would end with virtually the same result anyways.

Not his fault, or BLMs fault the majority of the idiots on this server would rather give their gil to 4 unknown BLMs rather than make a PT to own this sorry ass KS30
