I had that problem too, it seems they used an ordinary flash format rather than hosting it on a video site.

Basically it was Ed, Al and Roy posing for the camera with the announcer saying details coming soon (I think)

Well if they are basing it of the actual manga this time round, Winry will be of more use and the EdxWinry pairings might come to light as a part of the story if Arakawa writes their relationship further into the manga. Arakawa has hinted at their relationship for a long time now so its only fair ^^
 
Anyone able to translate the new Flash on the website?
 
Sweet deal, I so can't wait. But I saw some numbers at the end there but didn't understand any of that. So, was that a projected release date? Well.. series premiere and all that jazz? If so.. anyone able to tell what the exact date was? I aw a 4 and a 5 so is it to be expected to start on April 5th of this year?
 
Will this take place after the first anime ending? I assume with the manga.

No. It's a complete rewrite. This new series will be using the manga's plot completely, no references to the first anime. I think.
 
Yeah, it premieres on April 5, Sunday, at 5pm.
Or at least that's as much as I could glean from what's written at the end of the trailer.

I'm a little disappointed that it's a rewrite (intentional pun is intentional), but I never read the manga, so at least it'll be sort of different.

The first half (ish) of the original anime is directly from the manga. But since the manga is released on a monthly basis they ran out of content very quickly and made up their own (crappy) plot. Hopefully that won't happen this time.
