I'm kinda fed up with alot of the thread crapping that happens at Killing ifrit (Don't stop reading, this isn't a rant!). I thought since most people on here have very good views on the general goings on in this game, I thought it would be nice to have a serious chat about the new jobs that will be coming out.
I think nearly everyone knows about BLU now, if you don't, WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN? But I've always wondered what their 2hr might be, and even how this system of learning the mob's abilitys will work.
But, anyone who has seen the new aht urhgan (probably a typo, it's such a strange name >.>) might have noticed there is more than enough room for 2 - 3 jobs more on the new jobs page ( http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/ahturhgan/ ). What do you guys think SE will add into the game, and what sort of features / functions will these new jobs bring not only to low level gaming and partying, but also higher levels and HNMs et cetera.
There has been alot of speculation especially over time mages, and geomancers. My understanding of Time mages is a little askew. I always saw them as just casting stop, haste, slow and those sort of de-buffing spells. But they also have an offensive side, which, if implemented would be too powerful and would knock the balance of job's powers out of the (sort of) equilibruim that they're at now. The spells that are a cause for concern with me are spells like: Demi, death, and an Exit / Banish type of spell. I'm sure there was a spell on FFVII which would swallow the mob up into the ground, effectively killing them off, but wouldn't give experience points, money and items. I could see this possibly being a two hour, perhaps making the monster respawn in their origional spawning grounds (So that doing this on nms just to piss people off wouldn't, y'know, piss people off).
Thats my brief thoughts on how SE *might* implement TMM or TMG or whatever the abbreviation for it will be, if they decide to add it in.
Now I'd really love to hear some of everyone else's opinions on possible new jobs, and other new update stuff to be added.
Cheers

PS: [grammarnazi]Please don't post something like: "I TINK DAT BLU WIL B SIK" or something equally as dumb, I'd rather not strain myself to mentally correct someone else's lazy abbreviations and grammar.[/grammarnazi]
