Official FFXIV benchmark.

As for new results as I was running XI next to the benchmark before, I have run several different tests I do have to say I see little to no difference between CrossfireX turned on or off.

@1080p, Dual screen, Crossfire enabled:
Score 2428

@1080p, Single screen, Crossfire enabled:
Score 2408

@1080p, Single screen Crossfire disabled:
Score 2412

It is my understanding that it doesn't support crossfire or sli atm, if ever.

Windows 7 Professional,
Intel Core 2 6300 @ 1.86
Nvidia GeForce 8600 GTS

High 328
load time 47351

Low 972
load time 23975

Shittay

Windows 7 Pro 64
Intel i7 920 @2.67GHz
ATI Radeon HD 5850

High score: 4047
load time: 17613

Low score: 5293
load time: 16716

I'm gonna give this a try later but I'm really not expecting much out of my PC, it struggles trying to run UT3 at times, though if it can run FFXIV under decent settings I might consider it. Otherwise, I'll just stick with the PS3 version until I can get a better system.

Also, I'm awaiting the inevitable Over 9000 joke for the performance ;P

AMD 720BE 2.8Ghz 3 core
ATI Radeon HD4850 625/993mhz
4GB Ram
Windows Xp pro

Low - 2894
High - 1867
Load times around 27k

I have some tweaking to do

AMD X2 5200+ 2.6ghz
4gb DDR2 800
nVidia 260 1gb
Win 7 HP

Low - 1864
High - 1975

I'm guessing that my major hold back is my cpu since both cores were sitting around 80-90% for most of it, and maxing out during load times.

When my bios update comes out to support the Phenom II X4's I'll drop the 100 bucks and get one as a small upgrade till I can redo my system based on an i7 build.

"This application has failed to start because d3dx9_41.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

I win at DirectX!

Low res:
Score--452
Load time--17900ms

High res:
Score--227
Load time--26177

Yeah, I don't get it...
My computer wasn't that bad I didn't think.

AMD Athlon X2 2.8 Ghz
3 Gig DDR3
Geforce 210 512Meg <--Cheap Crap
Windows 7 Home

My average CPU usage was in the 50% range. When in-between scenes and loading my CPU would hop up no higher than 80% but averaged between 60-80%. My Memory/Ram doesn't seem to affect this test, my system never boosted over 1.6gig total and the benchmark averaged 700megs. I would assume it has to be my video card making it dip this low, correct? I really don't want to have to buy one because I can't afford it at the moment; besides the fact I would need a new power supply because this one currently does not require any external powering from my power supply which is only 250, 300 watts at best.

Also, I hope they allow custom resolutions, my TV/Monitor requires a special resolution to crop off overscan.

I didn't even bother letting it finish. It runs laggy as shit on my laptop, lol. Oh well.

Core2 Duo 2.2GHz
2GB RAM
GeForce 8600M GS

It's decent for a two year old laptop, but it's not like I expected it to run FFXIV at all let alone well.

Guess I'll have to stick with XI at least until I can replace this laptop lol. but that might be a while. :P

Thought some of you may find this useful. I don't know what resolution it runs though, but it does put it into full screen mode. You'll also need to use Google translator to understand the link that's included.

To enable SLI/Crossfire in this benchmark, please do the following (Courtesy of Aurelius of ZAM's forums) and dll fix courtesy of Ba1dw1n:
To enable SLI/Crossfire support for the benchmark, take the following steps:

1) Navigate to the extract folder for your XIV benchmark application.
2) Ignore the FFXIVBenchmark executable and instead go into the \data folder.
3) Find the file FFXivWinBenchmark.exe and rename to 3DMark06.exe
4) Run the executable.
Copy this: http://bygzam.seesaa.net/article/153685727.html
install it in your ffxiv benchmark folder and rename the benchmark's .exe to 3Dmark06

Now you has multi gpu support apparently.

I'll just wait and hope SE applies SLI support. Seeing what the benchmark score is with SLI support is pointless if SE doesn't support it in the final release of the game.

I am pretty sure that they will. From what I have read is that it is mostly a driver issue, that because the game isn't out it isn't registered into the graphics drivers to run crossfire/sli. Also, in order for crossfire, not sure about sli, to be active it has to be a full screen/non-windowed mode. So what that stuff above does is change the benchmark into the drivers thinking its 3Dmark06 and makes the benchmark a full screen program, and essentially activating crossfire/sli.

Low 3208

High 2988

And here I thought this new video card would make me all superior to the rest of yous. ;(

Well, I did the above 4 steps but I don't know how this will enable crossfire support.
Neither does it show any significant change in the score.

The dll however has nothing to do with SLi/Crossfire support but instead changes the benchmark's windowed mode to full screen.
Which actually is fairly pleasant.

Put this without any spaces.

What other programs or games did you have running in the background there Claudhert?
And how up to date are your drivers?
Because that score is absolutely repulsive considering your PC specs. (nofi)

I had no other programs running in the background other than Avast Antivirus which isnt a system hog at all..

I'm thinking i need a new Graphics card cause the more reviews i read the more im told mine sucks for gaming.

I did run spysweepers, registy cleaners and uninstalled programs i dont use anymore. and my score went up 25 points :D

Well crappy graphics card or not, your PC's core specs are fairly similar to my own.
2.4GHz Quad core CPU and 8 Gigs ram, sure I run Intel vs. your AMD but come on!
That shouldn't make that extreme a difference.

I mean your benchmark on low settings doesn't come close to a third of my score on low, or even close to half the score I get on high settings.
I think there's a bit more wrong with the computer then just the graphics cards sucking.
