OH linkshell Disbanding?

I just wanna wish the people who went back to their shell good luck.
Its perfectly understandable, and i dont think many in our LS will hold
a grudge for it. There is always stupid people, in any linkshell, NH aswell
as OH or any other shell for that matter, but most of us understand.

And as for Fafnir, i wasnt there that day, im not really interested in flaming, but if you guys just had PA alive, isnt that kinda like the situation
with BoL's kirin? (Remember now, im not flaming you for that either, maybe it could have been handle differently, but it wasnt wrong.)
It just seems like you put different standards up for what is stealing, depending on what shell it happens to. Because BoL still had people
alive at Kirin when you took over and that wasnt a steal. You yourself claims you had only PA alive at Fafnir but that was a steal according to you. Just a thought.

first of, no. We didn't MPK you. That is a lie, just like how you /shouted at Serket that we tried to MPK Lucifar or whoever it was at KB when your own members followed KB and spammed provoke on him.

Or how you accused us of MPK'ing the gil sellers at Serket, when we were the only ones NOT sending mobs at them. Or how you MPK'd us at MG, which I admit might have been a misstake from one of your members, and I personally accepted that appoligy. My point is, that when another LS does something, nothing happends. You even ask to lock the topic about it, which they most of the time do. But when OH (or BoL) is involved, it automatically means 50 pages of useless flaming that no one really bothers to read about how bad OH (or BoL) is and what a saint all other LS's are

Frankly, I'm tired of this. I can mention several things other LS's have done that we haven't brought to the flame board, simply because we feel it's unneccesary.

And NH, I really enjoyed the two days I was with you, and I thank you for letting me join. But this flame have made me realize that what Firestreak told me when he tried to talk me in to not joining NH was all true. And I now realize that it was a misstake to join you, but I do admit that I had a fun time and that the way your LS is run is a very good and efficient one. And believe me, I will do my best to prevent further incidents between NH and OH (or whatever name we chose to take). And if OH wouldn't have rebuilt, I would have been more then happy to stay with you.

That being said, I feel that I also owe my former LS members something. They are my friends, my family, and it is thanks to them I have a lot of what I have. It is thanks to them that I know a lot of what I know. How HNM's need to be fought, how gods need to be handled... how to kill stuff easiest, fastest way possible. Even if I did join another LS, I would not owe them something for a very long time, and I also feel that I would not be of much use to them due to my rather limited play time, at the time that most LS's run their events.

I owe my family more than I think anyone really imagine. A lot of my best in-game moments have been with OH, and no matter what happends I will always keep in contact with them, and I will be more than happy to join them again. Once again, I am truely sorry if NH feel that its rude of me to leave them, but you have to admit that it is not very nice of you to start rumours about us, even if you feel it is the right thing to do. Well, I feel the right thing to do is to come back home to my family, and help them rebuild a strong base again, so that we can finally start doing events. Just like old time, and hopefully become stronger than ever. All families fight, all families go through hard time. But after all, there is no place like home.

When I get on today, I will send Maseki or another sack holder a tell and ask them to break my pearl, so you won't be able to accuse me of stealing ToD's or something from the LS (although, I do hope you trust me enough not to accuse me of such a thing). But just in case, I want to be sure of it. You never know what some people can come up with as an excuse for something (just look at previous OH flames)

It's a nice thought, but end game is too crowded recently, and manners have gone out the window. You end up with justifications such as "I heard that their ls stole such and such mob from some other shell, so it's ok for us to steal from them."

It seems to me the only thing you've learned is that Caesar is a salad dressing dude.

You would be right, except for one thing.

Here are a few quotes from my own mouth on this post saying how a feel about the issue.

If you want to be given the benefit of a full wipe, give others the benefit of a full wipe. It's pretty damn obvious.

IF PA was there and alive how were we in the wrong at all? Either you can take my stand that nobody was really wrong(except Odon for MPK attempt), or the only person who was wrong was you guys because you stole first(based on your own logic). We were in the wrong for stealing back what was stolen and being in the wraith of NH's negative rumor machine?

1. As many people pointed out, Kirin is a popped NM and Fafnir is an HNM, and the rules are different. I was there for this Fafnir however and I wasn't for the kirin until midway through after the takeover. As far as I know... they seem to just be, similar, in that in both cases taken before wipe but the wipe was a sure thing.

2. I don't really criticize NH for taking it. If you read what I say carefully, I simply say, they criticize us for taking from a not fully wiped group, but they did the same to us. So by their own logic they are bad and we are not bad. But by my morals I said nobody was bad.

3. Timeline matters. This Fafnir incident happened before the BoL Kirin incident. If you want to call hypocricy, it is then a question of... am I hypocritical for pointing out that that you did the same thing as... first, and are flaming us for it, when we never flamed you? The incident that happens first sets the standards. You MPK us, we mpk you. Then you flame us for MPKing you... and when I say, "You guys MPKed us!" you say... "Why are you blaming us for MPK??? You did it too, you are a hypocrite."

4. The BoL incident was out in the open. The page was probably longer than this before the NM was even dead. Did we even tell other people /through tells and party chat what happened between us and NH? Not the seem like a dick, but we actually kill Fafnir sometimes, so we have more to focus on except all the horrors of that camp.

As for #3 though, i dont really see how the time-line matters.
Your linkshell, just as ours, seems to think that a take is ok,
prior to complete wipe, if it seems inevitable. We have both done
so, and i honestly dont see a big problem with it. Who did it first
is rather irrelevant. And to be clear again, i didnt yell out steal at
that Kirin, i didnt yell out steal at that fafnir. I was just saying you
shouldnt either. And you seem to agree, even if your shell as whole
might not. But thats how it always is i suppose, for you and us alike.

I think we managed to stay pretty clear of your whole Kirin
incident though, except for... yeah.. anyways, i wish some people would
shut up. And as far as flames on the Fafnir i dont think there was any
flames there either. In my opinion though it would be better to handle
things like these like Maseki and Nasya did on the KB incident, instead
of flaming eachother here, with people acting like they were the voice
of the entire shell, when in actuality its more of the other way around.
It just gives the shell a bad face.

Zero was bitchin because he couldn't keep hate over a Nin as a pld. He told me who it was and I knew why.

Prophacy told him he had +10 Enmity from merit points. We were in awe of his uber ninjaness.

He has not quit playing.

I think the problem with the whole fafnir thing, is that people are in a rush to claim. I can understand if there were only 2 LS camping this HNM, where if 1 ls had wiped there would be only 1 LS left to claim, therefore they can wait for a full wipe. But that wasnt the case, there were competetion there, and noone knows what the other LS will do. So it all comes down to a judgement call, can that LS that has claim beat this NM if they cant i don't see whats wrong. once again i wasnt there. but can you honestly say that you would have been able to pull it off.

I have no idea about merits as my highest job is only 67. However, I was under the impression that your merit stats were permanant no matter what job and lvl you are.

As far as him having +10 Enmity, I'm just going off of what he told Zeromous, and then what Zeromous told me.

Zero was so upset about not being able to keep hate, he replaced himself with a Dragoon.

Not 1 total though. But 1 of each of the things you merited.
Im not entirely sure though.
