OHrly?

Xan since you seem to me to be more curious about the truth and less angry about the comments - if you have windower so can take screenshots maybe you'd like to do a GM call and find out whatever was in the report. I could do it myself if you'd trust my findings but considering it's your business maybe it's better you do it - since your LS is so offended at the notion of wrong doing. At any rate it could potentially clear any doubts for any of us.

Being that I'm a PS2 player, would anyone care to GM call and see what they wrote in the report? I could do it but then I couldn't screenshot it - so therefore I couldn't provide evidence to the conversation.

And if any JDA member who uses this board would like to comment, they might have some insight neither of us do.

Man fire.. its you against the world. For what its worth here are my thoughts on that mpk. "No sweat" lol, we've been mpk'd before and we'll get mpk'd again. For what its worth, at the time me and arcien were friends, and i asked arcien if it was him, he said it was not and that is good enough for me. i consider Nasya an RL friend, someone who has integrity and honor and if she felt that a kaizen member did infact MPK us then she would have investigated. I'll say it again "At the time Arcien and I were friends. And at that time Arcien said he did not MPK, that is good enough for me".

Just let it go man, OH is a good shell, you guys have ambition and drive let that take you to the top. If people accuse you of hacking consider it a compliment and move on dont call out other people. This arguement will never finish, and although its been a great read, its just drama. Just let it go and drive on.

its not an accusation when there are explicit videos demonstrating this....

and then all of a sudden they want to accuse everyone else once they are brought in the open...

(see outerheaven's ls webpage www.outerhavenls.com i think-- it says sinhard is a flee tooler.. on top of the accusations that kaizen cheats)

I'd like to point out also, there is something besides just loyalty sometimes when dealing with people who have given you extremely valuable gear. Like myself for example - W. Legs, Osode, Haidates, Nobles Tunic, S kote. It's not just loyalty it's duty. There are linkshell members who gave their free time, their exp and their resources to help me get my stuff. Until I feel like I've put my time in to help all those who helped me, I'm not going anywhere.

It's a shame that the rest of your shell had to cheat to get it for you though.

It's OK though, because we know that you didn't, and you had no idea that they were doing it all this time...

fixed link for you

Sinhard plays on PS2 as far as I know. I thought you couldn't hack on PS2? No surprise on the accusation though; as I have found out this past week, it's easy and quite shameless to point fingers at PLDs when they happen to be superior kiters. :P

This drama is relatively knew and as far as I can tell over. I've had my sky gear for a bit now.

Interesting because Kat says it all happened before she joined, and I thought she'd been there for awhile now...

You've clearly stated that you never saw, and weren't aware of your fellow players cheating. How then do you know when they started?

On the topic of the Halflife MPK, we, (Kaizen) were aware that Arc was suspected at the time. We didn't believe he'd done it, and after some investigations, the Alliance (including JDA) didn't believe so either (and as I'm sure J can attest, they would have had no problems retaliating if they had believed it). Around the same time there was a similar incident with us being MPK'd by a random player at Fafnir, and we accepted that the Alliance had nothing to do with that either.

The MPK rule that's caused so much concern was introduced by the LS after we lost mobs (2 Nidhoggs and an Xolotl in particular, from memory) to blatent MPK steals in a short period of time. We didn't fight back, in fact we had a number of members who made it clear that they wouldn't take part if we did fight back. It appeared at the time, however, that as long as we did nothing, it would be very difficult for us to hold HNMs against MPK if we continued to do nothing.

To this day, that MPK Rule has never had to be enforced, and the great majority of us hope it never will have to be. It was however necessary.

Kat left the LS when we broke some months back, she didn't come back until recently cause she'd quickly joined another LS.

I don't know. I can only suspect as nothing blatant and nothing open goes on. Just look at Almaut, if we can agree he's not a cheater we can agree I'm not so great a judge of these things. I've only gotten one /tell ever from Meastoso asking me if I noticed anything. Unfortunately I was afk.

See, what will happen now that your friends have been caught is that all of the achievements of your shell are going to be suspect. All the respect for all the hard mobs that your shell has killed is gone, because noone can tell when they cheated. I doubt that will worry the people who were hacking, but if it doesn't worry at least a significant number of your members, then your shell isn't in great shape.

I know you say you don't have any say in OH's rules or the enforcement of them, but at least have the good sense to stop them from using hacks in your Dynamis shell.

quote from Uzor's thread:

"So in the end, it doesn't matter if they cheat or not, they are and will be my friends, and thus I don't really care if they cheat or not, even though I don't agree with it. I won't leave my friends behind because some of them want to depend on "shady tactics". "

First let me say I like alot of people in OH bu t I am very disappointed in the fact that some cheat and you do not take an effort to put a stop to it. Your logic in this quote is wrong and here is why; When someone puts on a pearl they represent that shell so everything that person does falls back on that shell. When I am waering my pearl I take note of what I do because my actions reflect what kind of members my shell has.

Like I said I am not going to call names etc and alot of what these threads have been saying I could care less about. I know you have skill you have good players but no matter what argument yuo try to justify it cheating is never acceptable and as an officer you are responsible for what your members are doing. Sometimes being a leader requires you to make hard choices. And even though some may be your friends it's time your leadership routed out the people doing it. It;s very sad to see a shell with skilled players no tonly using cheats but openly saying they won't do anything to stop it...

When it's the LS leader that's flying around at twice the normal speed though, I can imagine it would hard to stand up and say something...

I'll say this again since you obviously didn't understand me.

I am not an officer. I am not an officer. I am not an officer. I am not an officer. I am not an officer. I am not an officer. I am not an officer. I am not an officer. I am not an officer. I am not an officer. I am not an officer.

Good, now that we have that out of the way. like I also said earlier, I have attempted to stop them. Sadly, everything you attempt in life and in-game isn't always sucessfull. And thus, I gave up. They know my stand on the issue, if they chose to listen is up to them.

In my oppinion that's ok with me. We've had ton of spectators when we killed wryms without anyone speedhacking. Also whenever we have spectarors such as JDA or kaizen or some other ls's, people give out warning for no one to mess around since they might call GM's for no reason. If you don't have any respect for us that's fine. My main problem in all of this is the people who make it out like we're murdering people or deserve to be run over.

Seriously unless you fit none of these situations:

a) Ever tried something illegal (pot, underage drinking, etc..)
b) Know someone who has done something illegal and may even do it regularly, but are still friends with them
c) You yourself do this regularly

Then you really should look at yourself before talking about the hacks. People just read the word "hack" and consider it the greatest evil. I'm sure any kaizen member can testify that speedhacking isn't even a real advantage to killing wryms and the like. Our ls uses it more out of utility than neccesity, and I can assure you, people who do use it do it out of their own accord, and most people don't even speedhack, it's literally like 2-3 people that still use it at all, alot stopped using after glade got perma banned, then more when kireek got caught, I'm sure even more with these threads.

This is how I see the situation: Someone started openly speedhacking, alot of people were like "Cool, let me try it out" half of those got bored or too scared of losing account and quit after trying for like a day, then more serious users stopped after glade, even more after kireek, and these threads has basiacally stopped 99% of it. This whole "fad" lasted a good month maybe a bit more, it was definatly after our first wrym kills.

Except maybe that jailer thing (I don't have sea yet, so I dunno situation) I've yet to see speedhacking "win" us a fight, at most it has saved us a ton of time, most people used it out of being impateint to get to places rather than fights. And again even if 100% of the people in ls speedhacked, it doesn't mean they can now kill tiamat or jorg. Especially since those mobs are straight tanked. Hell out of ordinary mobs I only see it helping with like kirin (which is a joke to kill), some CoP pop NM's, and er.. that's about it? Maybe vrtra but when we fought it we had like no tank deaths until things went bad, and unless everyone used it, it'd just make whm's job harder, and pop pts too by spreading mobs around.

Things worse than the speedhacking that was done include fishbots, claimbots (which I'm sure every ls, including our own, probably does, even without the knowledge of anyone but that single person botting), gilbuying, mpk, stealing mobs, etc... Just cause the word "hack" is in it doesn't automagically make it evil x100.

At the most my screenshots prove that the GM somehow came to the conclusion Arcien was the culprit. Your LS managed to get claim and kill it without being MPKed.
GM's are not allowed to talk about anyone else's account with you. He never said Prophecy's assumption about it being Arcien's account was right, he just said he knew who's account was who's.

Daveman said:

If it wasn't, it wouldn't be used. And I can't see how being able to completely avoid being hit doesn't count as an advantage. Sure in cases where you are Drawn in, it doeasn't make as much of a difference, but even there is has it's uses.

LOL damn. I was hoping he would actually call the GM to have this recited back to him.
