So I find that really interesting and almost "neat" in a sense that finally a stuck up rich person got sentenced fairly for a crime they commited. (Unlike her BFF/notBFF Nichole Richie who was arrested for having drugs, DWI, and a couple other things and walked out of jail that night.) I was watching the news last night and the judge was "proud and felt justified" that he did not let her wealth and social standing deter his judgement. Then of course, Paris' father talks to the media saying its "utterly uncalled for, unfair, horrible and will be appealed."
Maybe they don't know all that much but the sentence can't be appealed. Yay! Its funny that she used the same bull that regular criminals use, stating "she had no idea her lisence was revoked" when she had signed two warnings and had one IN HER GLOVE BOX, for driving while revoked.
As a corrections officer, I pity the jail workers that this stuck up gal is going to spend 45 days in. (Even the white-trashiest of people will page in every 2 minutes asking for this and that this and that because they think they are in a hotel rather than jail, and I imagine she will be no different.) Although I am glad to see that atleast some people still follow the justice system in a fair-but-firm fashion and don't let a persons money do the talking.
Do you think she should of been let off the hook for violating parol again and continuos violations of a revoked drivers lisence because of her social standing?
