RABBLE!
I tried and tried to understand what you said, but all I see is rabble. So I assume your brain isn't well developed enough to construct basic gramatical phrases =/

It's from an episode of South Park.

Instead of hearing the sound of people -actually- argueing with each other, making key points and supporting their own reasoning...They would yell, "Rabble, Rabble, Rabble" to each other.

Basically, I'm saying this hacking/cheating arguement is so old that I will just, "Rabble, rabble, rabble."

But, please do continue. Rabble is hilarious.

See wat i did thar? Its real easy just to throw around one liners. I would know, I'm prety good at them. Unfortunatly, one liners dont make an argument, they're best used after you've made a point, which in this case you have not.

Thank you for that extremely important contribution. You gave me a lot of insight to south park.

I post them for humor puposes, mostly in flaeboard threads that are already dead, or just became lolfests (Aka, peregrine threads)
I dont try and claim them as my argument.

So you would, for example, turn down a Martial Abjuration: Body because you found out the person that claimed Nidhogg used a hack to claim it? When you know in the time you are playing you will probably never see another Martial Abjuration: Body drop again and have it go to you?

yes, id rather have nothing than have got it cheating.

Give me names, and they'll be gone if we believe it. PM them if you want. Our policy is not to bot. We concluded internaly that the allegations against Chronicles were false, and moved on to ignoring you rabble. If any of what you're saying is true, and these supposed people truly do, They'll be removed.

Unless of course you're refering to lolNecrosis who was removed.
lol this is just funny..

What, and pretend that the peabrained people who are the root cause of the issue have the ability to formulate complete thought? Most of the suposed QCDN proof comes from a single post by Nichole, which isnt even accurate, and an AIM chatlog from Necrosis which he claimes to be from Chronicles.

As far as we are concerned, the issue is resolved. And judging by the numer or applicants we turn away weekly, it isnt entirely an internal belief.

You can keep calling hax whenever you get beat, and we'll keep beating you legitimatly. If you truly had any evidence, you'd use it, because there's nothing anyone likes more than seeing the might fall.
thats a piss poor attitude. "we get applications so we must not hack". yeah ... good emphasis to base it on, lol.

even the filthiest of the linkshells get applications just because people want items. (like some of the old ls's that were mpk festivals)

you should be thankful he didnt just post it and throw his friend / people you associate with under a bus anyways, i would think.

I'd gladly have them thrown under the bus, because as i stated before, we do not support the use of hax. If this suposed person is indeed hacking, he's doing so under the knowledge that we will not tolerate it, and that action will be taken against him irregardless of what he uses it for.

It was in reference to the statement that everyone other than us thinks we're shitbags.

But you still wouldn't throw your gear away when you discovered said person to be botting all of your HNM's?

isn't that double standard? In that case you have no right to talk about mine and firestreaks gear being stained.

"It's kind of funny how some groups claim way more then others, I'm starting to really wonder if there's a way of simply just being able to prove cheaters based on the ratio of claims a LS gets to the amount they camp. I mean theres really no skill in claiming nowadays, you just need to be lucky and in any algorithm that involves luck all LS's should have pretty much the same ratio of claims to camps. Unfortunately I don't think thats the case and if you were able to track each LS's ratio you would easily be able to pick out the LS's with the most cheaters (I say most because I don't believe theres no such thing as an end-game LS without any). Saying all that though I think it's clear which LS's are claiming the most and having said graph of ratio's is pretty much just a formality."

After i'd uncersed somthing, probably not, because i've already paid the 1m price for the cursed piece and such. But i wouldnt hold myself up as still maintaining some magical high standard, I would admit that i'd made a mistake and accept whatever people decided to throw at me, because it would be deserved. Throwing it away wont make the incident itself go away, but working to right my errors can move towards that.

Like sneaky said, if I see the person botting, i just wont take it in the first place.

I believe there is indeed a skill to claiming. While luck is larger, simply stating that the LS with the higher average cheats more is

Good, then we have that settled. You wouldn't throw something away that you got through hacking.

So you have no right calling other people out for hacking. And even less right to call others out for not earning their equip because people in the LS hacked.

Its funny you should mention this though:

so I assume you agree when I say Blabj deserves a second chance? I mean, you assume others will give you a second chance. The least you could do is give others a second chance. Or do you think you're more important then everyone else and think you're the only person deserving of a second chance?

/sigh

Not the hacker, the person who unwittingly obtained somthing through the hacking of another. Aka, someone who didnt know the other was hacking.

The hacker gets no quarter from me.

I didnt call you out on your gear not being earned, I simply asked if you would do what you're proposing, because you DO know now that it was hacked. The only way I'd call you out on it is if you knew at the time you obtained it that they were hacking. In which case, you're further down the ladder towards the hacker themselves.

Lucky me that I obtained my gear while no one was hacking then.

And why don't you kick Godpoint from the shell. He got suspended, he got banned and... you still invite him. "He's sorry!" Yeah. bullshit.

That'd be Element, ask them.

someone else said n. body. I just followed :p

Either way, the person is a known hacker once you discover it. So if you don't throw it away, then that means you keep an item that you KNOW a hacker got for you. Which means, if you don't throw it away, that you're not entirely clean. By your definition, just because the item was obtained before you knew he was a hacker, its suddenly clean.

Funny how that works. For yourself, its obviously OK. But for me, even though I obtained my items before they started hacking, my items are suddenly stained. Why is that?

So basically, everything Blabj have done in the past on the forums, is suddenly stained because he got caught hacking? Even though he himself said he'd stop using it now since it wasn't worth getting banned over it?

So just because he used a hack in the past, and he now says he regrets it, his mod powers would be stripped from him?

Hillarious. I remember Godpoing being invited back to Perseverance or whatever shell it was, even though he hacked not only once, but twice. Once to earn him a suspension, and once to earn him a banning. So he earns a third chance, but you wont even give Blabj a second? That, if anything, is double standard.

I may or may not toss the item months after the fact. Months after the fact you find out that so and so from your shell hacked. Well they were probably around for countless events, not just the one where you obtained something one time. You've probably obtained a number of things over time. Is everyone in the shell going to suddenly throw out half their gear? That's gray area for sure, and quite irrelevant to Blabj continuing to be a mod here. Most people would not toss the gear out months later, and I can understand the legitimate efforts of all others involved show up to camps time and time again.

It's gray area with no real answer. If I was in a shell that claimed 50% of the Fafnirs, it's pretty obvious what's up. If we claim 1 out of 10 or 20, and it just so happens that months down the road one of the members of the LS is banned for using a flee tool...Was he the one responsible for the claim where I obtained said piece of equipment? I think that plays a big role in how I'd feel about that equipment. Also, was the piece of gear and abjuration that I had spent over a million of my hard earned gil uncursing? I think that plays a role in how I'd feel months later.

Is there an exact time frame at which point I will solidly keep an item? I dunno, but as I said before, it's honestly not worth it for me to get gear through cheating. I would not be around for the treasure to fall, if I knew someone hacked a claim. I would also discuss with the leader of the shell immediately. If the leader was essentially fine with the hacking (turning their head, so as to let it happen or allowing the member to stay in the LS) then I would toss my pearl. I'm not sure what's difficult to understand about how I feel about this.

There's a distinct difference between how I feel about a theoretical abjuration that would have to have been obtained from a hacked claim, where the hacker was found out months down the road, and how I would go about handling that situation....VERSUS....Blabj literally getting caught for flee and pos hacking.

That's far from a double standard. That's black and white.

If we can say everyone has benefitted at one time or another from a hacker, and leave that out there as a constant, then I guess we all need to toss out our equipment and start over. That's obviously crazy and makes no sense given the amount of time each individual puts into the game. If YOU are legit (includes awareness of the hackers around you (don't just play dumb for your own benefit)) then YOU are legit. You can't control the actions of others around you. You can only control your own.

Blabj controlled his own actions and hacked. As such, he has no place as a representative of the community.

You are trying to slap a double standard on me because I have a different view of a now known hacker modding qcdn versus how Pers or whatever shell let Godpoing repeatedly back into their shell. That's just dumb as hell.

Care to give reasons why you think a hacker should be allowed to mod the community? I've explained myself enough, and shed the double standard bullshit tossed at me. I'd like to hear what kind of a good reason you might have to keep a hacker as a mod for the community.

Blab is lucky his character was not deleted as it should have been. Beyond that, a mod is a pillar of the community. Do you think it's ok for pillars of the community to flee and pos hack?

Again, what of his LS? Will they turn their heads and allow him back in? How they handle the situation speaks volumes for the shell. Especially when you consider that there are plenty of good players out there that don't cheat. Invite them to your shell. ...Unless you are the type of shell that's ok with having known hackers amongst you. GG.

PC+1?

Edit: Mara says Element. I wouldn't know...

The issue with Blab and a linkshell is moot i believe, since i dont think he's in an endgame shell.

First of, Blabj is sorry for what he did. He said it himself that it's not worth it, and thus, he would quit. Do you honestly think he don't deserve a secodn chance?

As for the modding. The mods aren't here to represent the community. They're here to do a job. Blabj did a good job, even while he was hacking. Wheither or not he hacked have nothing to do with how he mods a forum. Hacking have nothing to do with what's posted on qcdn.

Wheither or not he hacked have nothing to do with qcdn. It won't affect his judgement, or it won't affect which threads he lock. In what way would keeping him as a mod affect anyone?
