Rude JP...

He wasnt rude UNTILLLLLL you booted him. (I would do the same not gonna lie) Just saying he (atleast i think) understand what you were saying, so he was confused when you booted.

Saying "no" to the pt leader is pretty rude in and of itself. The leader asks me to do something that is considered normal, I do it whether I like it or not.

It's their pt. They put it together. You (generally speaking) took the invite. Until you leave the group, that pt leader should be treated with at least some respect. Blatantly telling them "no" when they ask something that simple shows nothing short of disrespect.

Not that respect is really all that common amongst random pickups where you don't know half the people, but it helps. Someone's put forth the effort to get 6 people some exp - the least you can do is listen to their simple requests.

About the sub... I seek on war/drg quite often just for the e-peen. Soon as I get an invite I already know I'm wanted /nin, so I change without asking. I honestly haven't exp'd with a pld/nin but honestly I don't want to. Hate is too erratic in exp sessions - particularly merits. Pld is geared and built to take hits. They shouldn't have to hide behind shadows for such menial shit like birds and puks.

edit: he may be a decent guy that was just inhibited by the language barrier, that we may never know. It's not really fair to tarnish this guy's name permanently. For all we know he's MPK'd Lucifar purposefully a dozen times.

That's bullshit. No one really wants a pld to merit with, so they go /nin and try to DD because that's the only way to get merits at a decent pace.

What was BS about my statement? o.O

I already mentioned that PLDs sub ninja for merits, but honestly unless that's all that is available why would you invite a PLD/NIN when you can get a MNK, or WAR? I'm pretty sure those jobs would have a better potential for damage and would be the better choice for a DD if that's what you're inviting to party.

Some PLDs don't have a choice if they don't have another job at 75 and are after merits, and this I can understand would be their reason for subbing ninja, but aside from that a PLD is much more suited for tanking. I wouldn't invite a PLD to be a DD in my pt, i'd invite a PLD to tank.

This was a merit party right? If you're going to merit, why would you pick pld/war over pld/nin if you had to pick a pld at all? Also, wouldn't there have already been a voker in the party if there he didn't go pld/war? I would assume wulfgar is meriting on war/nin?

A well geared pld/nin can do about the same as a nq war/nin.

Since the flame is about being rude. Is it polite to just boot without saying anything?

I always thought that was rude. But whatever, he's just a jp fucker right? He's supposed to be polite to the leader, not the other way around.

Right after you said "I'm sorry Diran provoke yes, please. T.T" you booted him or you asked a second time if he could change to /war and he said no?

Sorry, i dont see him being rude anywhere in the pics until after you booted him. He was seeking as /NIN, so that is what he wanted to PT as, if he wanted to sub WAR he would have put it in him search comment.

I seek as NIN/THF or /BLM all the time, doesn't mean I'm going to show up to party as that. I would assume he's coming /WAR. If I was a PLD wanting to /NIN I would specically put that in my seacom because that is outside the norm.

When I invite a PLD it is because I want to go balls out, not because I want him to think he's cool with his joytoy/company sword.

Everyone can give examples of "this one PLD/NIN", but in most cases they are half assed DDs because PLDs don't gear to DD.

Even I have a "this one PLD/NIN" story.

Even if a pld goes pld/war the likelihood(sp) that he will keep hate is minimal especially with the new ToAU Merit pts.

Even in KRT merit camps, one WS from moron MNKs or opening w/ a rampage from a noob war will lose the hate from even the best plds.

I will admit i dont have many merits on my pld yet, its very difficult for me to tank, even w/ my half decent gear.

Going PLD/NIN is a plausable alternative to going pld/war simply because PLD cannot hold hate, especially in cannon pts. The alternative being, he tries to do more dmg w/ more available sources of dmg(IE 2 Swords)

There is nothing wrong w/ a PLD doing this in ToAU camps. Especially since most of the mobs being killed die within 2-3 WS.

Ruffy your boot was very hasty, you didnt give him optimal time to comprehend your Attempt at an autotranslate. He clearly states in his /tell with you he didnt understand and that you should "fuck you."

Meeze w/ random threads > Your face with a paper bag over it while Rinnoah Hides behind you

Furthermore as an edit ruffy

You totally deserved that /tell from that guy. You gave him no chance to try to change to /war as he said he would. Booting him, after you said OK to him saying "Ya but i seek as pld/nin"

If leading a party, one needs to learn a bit more patience... Sure you are a darkknight but that dont mean one has to:
(>O.O)>=D PEW PEW PEW PEW> Everyone.

He clearly said he would change subjob in /tell only because you didnt give him a chance to say OK ill change subjob in pt chat.

From this SS of the conversation its actually your own attitude that fails/you are the rude one... Not the jpn guy. Dont take it out on him that you werent patient.

*Edit* ill be asleep for the next 5 hours+ So if you have any replies to this ill be asleep till then.

I'm still looking for the part where Diran refused to change his subjobs.

Someone please point that out to me. All I can find so far:

(Ruffyreborn) Diran tank?
(Ruffyreborn) Diran /war {Do you have it?}
(Diran) ya but i {Looking for Party} p/nin
(Ruffyreborn) ok {understood}

(Ruffyreborn) {I'm sorry} Diran {Provoke}{Job}{Yes, please} T-T
**Assumed Diran was booted**

What did I miss????

um, unless the PLD/NIN is extremely gimp, PLD/NIN's can and will hold hate just fine if played right. Granted I'd rather replace him with a WAR/NIN for higher damage, but a PLD can still do just fine, assuming he's geared for DD rather then tanking.

Yeap

I agree with jyak and Uzor on this one :P I've been 75 pld for a longgg time and /nin isn't bad at all. Eulore had a great point too, we don't get merit pt's very easily rofl. Even if we do plds can't hold hate when other DD's ws and it's 1/4th-1/2th dead. Imo pld may have been his only 75 but I know with myself the only time I even get to play pld i'm /nin for ls stuff, maybe the odd time if I go to dynamis I /war but i'm always MNK or BRD for dynamis.

The only thing i don't agree with jyak is "noobs and morons" ws'ing at the start, when i'm in a cannon if i have 100tp i use it right away, waiting is wasting. Pretty easy to tank with haste and 25% in gears though i guess.

All this talk about lolplds is saddening. I know a pld/nin who will out DD almost everyone who posted in this topic with ease. Go pt with Bramd and see how ya do against his lolpld.

Roughly any job can be a DD if they gear correctly. A DD isnt what I was asking for, though.

Wulfgar wasnt war/nin in this party, he was RDM. Look at that ginormous mp pool!

Yeah, but now that I've posted here shits changed. My Whm will make Bramd cry in his little booties. :spiteful:

1. I agree with several others like Rhaddy and Uzor on here. A PLD/NIN would do just fine if they know what they are doing. And it's not a question of DD or Tank, they should be able to tank via DDing, generating hate from damage and flash and other JAs as needed.

2. I realize that wasn't the issue, the issue was whether he would change on request, and honestly you didn't give him much of a chance. The first time you mentioned it, he said he was seeking as /nin and you said "Ok, understood" which to me, would mean, "oh all right, it's cool don't worry about it". Then you mention it again and boot right after before he can answer. I'd have been pissed too.
