Very gracious concession speech from McCain, I thought. Looking out at that sea of white faces he was addressing, I started waiting for the pop-pop-pop sounds of conservative heads exploding in shock. I swear, I could hear my uncle Charles screaming in horror from 120 miles away.

Anyway, I'm off to bed for real this time.

I learned all about it when I went to graduate school and am well aware of the garbage they spewed out but thanks for asking. You'd of thought my liberal professor was his best friend.

I'm not looking to become Sweden or even Canada for that matter. I'll make you a deal. You keep your government entitlements and I'll keep more of my paycheck.

Not that this is relevant in any sort of fashion. I also like how instead of pointing some of Obama's "Marxist" policies, you merely disparage the belief.

Sorry that is an excellent analogy and dead on too. Who you affiliate with is a STRONG indicator of the type of person you are. When you keep the company of racists, socialists, and terrorists then don't expect me to believe you don't at best partially subscribe to their beliefs.

Normally, I'd agree with you. But he's been telling people what he'll do if he's elected. Granted, campaign promises don't necessarily translate into official policies and whatnot, but what he's proposed isn't Marxist, or socialist. Liberal, yes. Left wing, yes. But not anything like your accusations.

If I'm in a position to affect the law on abortions, and I spend company in feminists, even have feminist friends, yet speak out as a pro-lifer, does that mean I'm automatically for abortions? (I am not pro-life for the record, but this is just an example)

Stop looking at who he's been talking to, and start paying attention to what he's saying.

QFT. I am atheist, but have been friends with Christians, Agnostics, Muslims, etc. I am undecided about abortion, but have been good friends with both Pro-lifers and Pro-choicers. If you are a conformist, you believe only what your friends do. If not, then you have a mind of your own, and sometimes keep company with those that disagree.

I'm glad Obama won, but all i can say is "we are ready"

Couple things, then bed:

1) It would have been history-making either way.

2) Hail to the Chief. Congratulations, President Obama :)

Good night everyone ^^

I thought it was a great victory speech, and I was in awe of the crowd that had gathered. ~125,000 people or so... thats nuts. Kudos to McCain on his concession speech (although oration is not the mans strong point), it was well done.

Yes, McCain's speech was very good. He displayed real class even if some of his supporters didn't...did you hear the yells of "Reverend Wright!" and boos every time Obama was mentioned? McCain practically had to tell them to shut up.

*sigh*

Now the real challenge begins. It's been a long time since I felt enthusiasm for the president elect. But if anyone can accomplish what needs to be done, I think Obama's the guy.

I vote we ratify the Constitution, by popular vote, to finally end the ridiculous, obsolete electoral college system.

Valandil I couldn't agree with you more.

I'm very eager to see where American Liberalism takes us.

Hooray for Obama winning.

Now I don't have to pack my things and move to Canada for four years just because Palin scares the crap out of me, don't-chya know....

Now she can go back to spying on Russians from her window... since she can see Russia from her house and such.. (:

Congratulations President Biden... wait thats still a few months away.

Sweet ass. Democratic control of both the house and the senate.

What? Obama's president-elect? Neat.

Thanks for reducing the military pay :(

Because slimming a bloated blackhole of a budget means troops will have their combat pay reduced. Excellent reasoning skills you have there. If combat pay made up the majority of the defense budget, you might be on to something. But haha, unfortunantly, it isn't.

To bad we can rate down anymore, not that it matters.

yea... thats too bad but atleast no one will shoot Biden because it would scare the shit out of everyone to have Pelosi with any more power...

fuck. yes.

cordiality aside, take that hard-line conservative right. a fruit basket of love hearts and gay rainbow unicorns is on its way.

heh couldn't agree more... and I can't think of the number of people who have said the very same

Heh, I'm along the same lines. When I saw the results I said to myself, "Congratulations America majority, you voted for murder and if not murder, chaos in the very least case situation." Heh, even if somethin' bad does happen to him, I don't think it'll end like with the others. This is gonna get nasty.

Welp, nothin' more I can do than sit back and watch what the majority of you stirred up. Should be interestin', thanks in advance for the show. May our punishment be light.
