Well I'm trying to stump a friend on his knowledge of RPGs via screen shots and it spurred an idea. What is the worse RPG you have ever played in your opinion? I'll get this ball rolling with Unlimited SaGa. My main problem with the game was the battle system that was like slots on a ring. The game just did not rub me the right way.
 
Summoner 2 comes to mind.

Twice I played it, disappointed both time. Funny thing is after a while I thought "hmm that was kinda cool, ill try again" then i realized why I never beat it the first time around.
 
The 7th Saga and Blue Dragon.
 
Final Fantasy X. It's the only crappy RPG I've forced myself to complete. Just by looking at FFX2 I know I wouldn't like it.
 
Eh, i had to force myself pretty hard to finish 7. 8 and 9 were pretty much the only FF's i liked that were made on a disc.
 
I'm curious, what was bad about Blue Dragon? The gameplay was fun for what little I played :P was the story and such just so bad?
 
Does the second disc of Xenogears count? It was a great RPG until they ran out of money and slapped the main character in a rocking chair to narrate the rest.
 
Final Fantasy 8. The only thing not horrible about that game were the graphics at the time.

I'm loving blue dragon so far, it feels just like an old SNES RPG.
 
Its a god awful game. The fact that people even question it makes me lose faith in gamers.
 
Magna Carta.

Complete lack of any kind of serious storyline development for almost 30 hrs of playtime... yea. Beautiful game, interesting (not necessarily good) battle system, but sooooo boring.

Also: Final Fantasy XII.

This game was just horrible.
 
Final Fantasy XII was the only one I've never finished. Shit's soooooooooooooo boring.

Cuz people can't have different opinions right?

I don't think FF7 is the best RPG ever made, but I say it wasn't awesome either.
 
I did not enjoy FFXII
Online RPGs are kinda shitty for me also... I played way too much ffxi and then realized i dont like it at all... The story just becomes to spread out with gathering people and waiting days for other things... I want to do, what i want to do, when i want to do it lol...

I've went over this in another thread already. Yes, actually god does forbid disagreeing with me. Its one of the 7 deadly sins to play blue dragon though.

Joking aside, i can respect most peoples opinions on almost anything, but when people start saying Blue Dragons is a decent game, we have a problem.
 
Were you talking about blue dragon or ff7?
