I must say quite an interesting thread. Though, I must say that Outterheaven got burned by a weakness in their own system. When you establish a linkshell, you want to incorporate as many skilled players as possible. However, somewhere in the process you have to obtain one thing that can't be bought - trust.
Throughout the post there has been almost every possible complaint about this concept of a "Linkshell Bank." Whoever, came up with the idea didn't think it clearly through or did an unsatisfactory job of building a bond of trust with their members. There have been multiple complaints filed against Prophecy and his handling of the initial LS bank :

Prophecy MADE THE THREAD and all the thread was was telling us how the LS bank was run.. he didnt want suggestions.. he wanted it his way.. and in that thread he basically said "all money drops to me, i will buy abjuration, cursed gear, nobles tunics, and evnetually we will invest money in big items once everyone get abjuration"
And to all of you who support Prophecy, let me ask you - what's your balance sheet look like?
Can you tell me the precise amount that is in your Linkshell bank account? How much gil has been deposited?
How many transactions have occured since the establishment of the bank? Can you tell me what the Linkshell expenditure sheet looks like?
Whats the earnings to expenditure ratio?
Really - Is there anyone that can find a transaction book or a deposit record since the establishment of this bank?
How much gil was in the bank on April 1, 2005?
If you can't give me a precious number, then your book keeping and linkshell bank is open to book cooking.
When you don't post a running record of ncome and expenditures for the linkshell, how are you suppose to obtain members trust? Perhaps, blind "faith".
You can already notice that the foundations on which the principle of a linkshell bank was established is flawed in many areas. No detail accounting, no details of transactions, no details of deposits...
Absolutely no critical data was ever recorded and made public the the shareholders (members) of the linkshell.
Whats even more interesting is that the Linkshell Owner decided to overturn the decisions made by people he appointed sackholders. Mind you from these posts, these are the people that Prophecy entrusted with running the shell.

That was not why I kicked you, not even close. I kicked you because you're an ass, the exact same reason you got kicked from ThousandSwords. The MPK was another asshead move, and I decided that I had had enough. You were kicked because you were blacklisted/hated by/avoided/whatever by more than half a dozen people in the shell. I don't want to be in that type of shell, and prophecy obviously cares more about the army than the soldiers. That is why I left the ls.
Mind you that Stouter from both posts and verification of Outterheave members did in fact lead the Linkshell in its beginning stages. Prophecy by continously over turning Stouter's decisions, not only undermined Stouter's leadership, but his faith in Prophecy as a leader.
Even members had voiced their discontent before leaving, yet it is doubtful that any of the remaining members gave it much thought.

Why do you think Prophecy gets mad when people question his motives?
Why do you think he runs his LS as a tyranny?
Why do you think he tries to instill fear in anyone who disagree's with him and threatens that people will be kicked if you don't follow his every order?
Do you enjoy playing in this atmosphere?
These are things I asked myself recently and came to the conclusion that it is not worth it to play in an LS lead by someone who lives by these ideals.
Ask prophecy something one day, and again another day and it will be completely changed. You know why? Because he doesn't keep track of things, he runs the LS and his choices based on who he is "favouring" at the moment.
He tells people they are whiners when they question who is next in the list of an item drop, but then hypocritically throws a fit and cancels events for a full day beause they didn't want to cancel a 60 person event to show up for his precious HNM,
Prophecy's whole goal for this LS was to get to HNM eventually so he could get HIS gear. How long do you think Prophecy will continue to fight Fafnir once he's got everything he wants?
You think he cares at all about Gods? Or about who is next on the gear list and what it means to people to see themselves dropped off the list for whoever the flavour of the week is?
Prophecy does not have the intellectual capacity to hold an adult conversation nevermind run a full blown operational LS for a long term.
Prophecy doesn't listen to his members concerns and act on them to improve the LS, he ignores them and runs it the way he thinks it should be.
Prophecy is possibly one of the biggest waste of good experience this game has, with such potential to be a great leader he squanders it by not listening/not caring about his members, being egotistical, and being selfish to serve himself first.
Prophecy just ruined my experience and everything people warned me about him before I joined ended up coming true.
This coming from a member that presumably showed up for events and participated in the shell. Here's a question - why haven't the rest of the members of Outterheaven come here to voice their opinions? From these 55 pages of useless and mindless rambling, I have only seen the stout Prophecy retainers. Ithenas, Cohibu, Jonas, and a few random Outterheaven members voice their judgements. I'm sure that the Linkshell isn't built on 5 people... so enlightened me... where are the rest?
Threatened by leadership?
Then there is this tidbit :

just a note, we are running a points system, the bank is still around so that points can be spent on gil, and i'm keeping track of how much money flows in and out of the bank. so enough w/ the bank shit plz it's getting old
Point system wonderful, but still the bank. What was the starting balance Ithenas? Can you give us a precious amount? Or are you going to tell us an approximation that was given to you by Prophecy? You probably can't tell us what your balance sheet looks like in March or April... May? How about June? Nice that your actually doing "book keeping", but how much have the book's been cooked to this point?
Oh.. thats right.. there hasn't been any book cooking since no books were ever cooked... gotcha.

In OH, we have a LS bank. You have to attend to LS events in order to get things. The reward is that you get abjurations and other things to make you and the LS stronger. If a WHM gets a noble's tunic, it doesn't only make himself stronger, but also the LS as a whole. Eventually, we will be able to take stronger and stronger enemies.
Really? Is that nobles tunic yours? I'm sure the abjurations are since they are rare/ex. I remember a past post where Prophecy threatened to take back the white mages nobles tunics. Joke? Threat? Either way... tells you something... that there is a slight chance that the Nobles Tunic that you are wearing.... might not be yours!
And finally, Dua took advantage of a flawed system. A system of loaning equipment to members without an established trust factor.
Though it may not be moral to steal - Dua was able to exploit and burn the linkshell for his own personal gain. Sounds like a top notch Enron CEO (perhaps Worldcom).
Outterheaven you got burned by your own flaws. Get over it, move on and don't let anyone cook your bank books. Encorporate a system of checks and balances.
