This is why teenagers don't run economies

LOL. Excellent defense there Peregrine. "If the data shows I'm wrong, the data is lying." That's something that an 8 year old would say, GG.

Limit that to the effectiveness of acid bolts in a party, and maybe you have something. Acid bolts are huge, and that is where every other forum would laught their ass off at the comments to the contrary.

Acid Bolts only assist those using high damage - two handed weapons, where having more attack to boost your damage is still more important than taking in STR vs. VIT, where one handed/grapple attacks are bottlenecked.

So yeah. You're assisting the Dark Knights, Dragoons, Rangers and Samurai. Where as to the Monks, other Thieves, Warriors, Beastmasters, Ninjas, you're just doing what's already happening, adding to the fact that their weapons damage is already on the brink of capping out from attack, but lack of STR vs. Mob DEF.

Lol you really are dumber than I thought. K, you boot that thief for hitting an acid bolt on the pull, fleeing back to camp, then hitting another one. Lowering the mob's defense.

Any other FFXI forum would laugh their ass off at your comments. Acid bolts are huge. The hilarity of qcdn is that you all are *just* that sheltered.

hahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, lets see about that.

You seem to like this argument a lot - seeing as every time you're cornered you spit this out.

brb I'm gonna link this on BG forums, lets see what they think.

no no no peregrine, you are being held accountable for every hairbrained thing you have said in this thread, from the difference of +1's, the cost and effectiveness of Foragers, to the difference in Vit Str Def, and whatever the hell else you were saying.

yes that may be so but most likey the person whould all ready have the Amemet+1 because you can wear it at 61 so you going to trade it in for a back peice that has +1 str -1 def -15 ra attack and pay 1 mil more for it

Because...

It's been explained.

Theres nothing thats over level 60(Amemet is lv61, remember) that caps your level 70 and under.

Wheres the "loss" of exchanging? There is none, outside of spending gil, then making a good portion of it back selling the lesser mantle.

Also, how does a Forager's instead of a Amemet +1 make it any harder for a job to hit a mob with a ranged attack?

(Hint: It doesn't.)

Homerun. If the Amemet+1 had Ranged Accuracy, Peregrine would be right. But guess what? It doesn't.

And even if it did have ranged accuracy, that would still be useless on a job that doesn't shoot anything.

10% accuracy<1 strength point at 75. That's a darwin award right there. Not 10 acc...not that 2 sniper rings < 1 str point...10 PERCENT accuracy<1 str. So like 20-something acc at 75! Awesome!

If you stick by that, there's the door. You're done. You just lost the standard I require to even acknowledge you exist, which is pretty low to begin with as you can tell from this thread.

Is this Selective Reading Day and no ones told me?

Let's look at it shall we?

Buy Foragers for 2.5mil. Sell Amemet+1 for 1.4mil

Net cost: 1.1 mil.

Buy Triumph Ring for 2.2-2.5 mil, or Flame Ring for 4 mil. Sell Ruby Ring for (benefit of the doubt, I have no idea what they go for now) 80k.

Net cost: Still pretty much the same.

Thats where the smart shopping comes in to play, which is obviously being an idiot, cause Peregrine says so.

thf do shoot they are puller and even thf/rng <the good one atleast> shoot while they are reposioning there attacks. to say that 15 range attack dont help is saying that the 14 attack on the assult jerkin dont help dragoons.

Diminishing Returns on Accuracy. If you don't believe they exist, you know where the door is, you've pointed it out.

Unless you're always wailing for your maximium damage range(140-145 for me) STR vs VIT diminishing Returns are further away than Accuracy. How much more accuracy do you think Makzilla would've had to load up to get to 95%.. about 98%? I can tell you, it'll be a lot more than 20 just to get that very little increase.

the thing is he would not be avarage if he is netting extra dmg on his rng attacks

Mmmmk stilly lying. I don't think there's a single poster, even on this forum, who is dumb enough to believe that 1 str point at L75> 10% higher accuracy. Oh wait, there are two.

Right... parsed results, full hit/miss calculations over 100 fights is lying?
..But hit for hit, I was doing more damage. Not hitting as often either, and still did 80 damage/fight more in melee. All because of +1 STR.

Raiv, it's not that they didn't claim that 10% acc<1 str...it's that you're too stupid to keep up.
