10% accuracy<1 strength point at 75. That's a darwin award right there. Not 10 acc...not that 2 sniper rings < 1 str point...10 PERCENT accuracy<1 str. So like 20-something acc at 75! Awesome!

If you stick by that, there's the door. You're done. You just lost the standard I require to even acknowledge you exist, which is pretty low to begin with as you can tell from this thread.

Diminishing Returns on Accuracy.

No, dubmass. You just said he had 10% more accuracy than you. BOY is that ever diminishing returns at work.

but your trading it in for 1 str 1 1 small str and paying a mil more for it so in since you are paying a mil for 1 str

Is this Selective Reading Day and no ones told me?

Let's look at it shall we?

Buy Foragers for 2.5mil. Sell Amemet+1 for 1.4mil

Net cost: 1.1 mil.

Buy Triumph Ring for 2.2-2.5 mil, or Flame Ring for 4 mil. Sell Ruby Ring for (benefit of the doubt, I have no idea what they go for now) 80k.

what im saying though you could keep the mantle put that 1 mil to much better use then 1 str

Net cost: Still pretty much the same.

Thats where the smart shopping comes in to play, which is obviously being an idiot, cause Peregrine says so.

You can't teach them logic. They think they're the best of the server and have nothing left to spend gil on.

Mmmmk stilly lying. I don't think there's a single poster, even on this forum, who is dumb enough to believe that 1 str point at L75> 10% higher accuracy. Oh wait, there are two.

Right... parsed results, full hit/miss calculations over 100 fights is lying?
..But hit for hit, I was doing more damage. Not hitting as often either, and still did 80 damage/fight more in melee. All because of +1 STR.

Raiv, it's not that they didn't claim that 10% acc<1 str...it's that you're too stupid to keep up.

or maybe "You're not worth paying attention to"

I love how Peregrine was arguing the exact fucking opposite thing a few weeks ago. shall I necro the PCC thread?

REMEMBER THAT ONE?! the one where you said attk > acc

"anyone who eats sushi and equips acc gear is an idiot and I will ridicule them publicly"

and now you're saying that ACC > Str? Holy crap, YOU don't even know what you're talking about - how do you expect US to?

best thing about this post is that it will go ignored by Peregrine and fall into the abyss of the internet.

It obviously is, considering these are parsed results. STRAIGHT FROM THE GAMES LOGS. No manipulation. over 100 Fights. I can guarantee you if it were over 10000 fights, it would remain unchanged. It's proof that there is a breakneck point in which too much accuracy isn't going to help your damage. That point is obviously at the 80-90% range.

I also love how you're arguing against the very point you were making and skaw was trying to support in the PCC thread - bite the hand that feeds much peregrine?

lol i wanna know why it really matters. If people want to have a foragers..they buy foragers....If people want amemet...they buy amemet. Has nothing to do with the economy, its a #^^%ing game. You people shouldnt treat ff as RL. You make gil to buy what you want, not let people choose for you. Hell i bet if i put a foragers on AH for 4 mil it would sell just bc its what people want. And foragers is alot more rare(prolly why more people want it) than amemet bc i see people in juno popping em out left and right.

Also, how does a Forager's instead of a Amemet +1 make it any harder for a job to hit a mob with a ranged attack?

(Hint: It doesn't.)

Homerun. If the Amemet+1 had Ranged Accuracy, Peregrine would be right. But guess what? It doesn't.
And even if it did have ranged accuracy, that would still be useless on a job that doesn't shoot anything.

thf do shoot they are puller and even thf/rng <the good one atleast> shoot while they are reposioning there attacks. to say that 15 range attack dont help is saying that the 14 attack on the assult jerkin dont help dragoons.

shooting resets delay on weapons, so you will still wait the full amount of time.

Exactly what stat is there more important to raise as a DD job, if not STR? Remember, Attack vs. Defense. STR vs. VIT. These are the only two things that directly influence the majority of your damage.

Meeze :(

It doesn't reset the delay. It retains and carries it over. Thats how ranger could still melee and shoot at point blank back before the ranged attacks change.

You are lying. If he hits 100 times, you hit 90 times. Idiot. Do you really think your 90 hits can make up 700 damage he does with 10 extra hits? That 1 strength point adds up to 7-8 more damage per hit? Please. Don't make me spell it out. Retract your claim, because you're lying.

yes but must thf disengage when reposioning

shooting resets delay on weapons, so you will still wait the full amount of time.

Notice how I mentioned jobs that don't shoot anything? Drk, War, Mnk, Drg, and Sam (sometimes) don't shoot anything, and thus gain 0 benefit from ranged attack. A thief doesn't get that much benefit from it anyways, they shoot maybe twice per fight, where as every one of those jobs melees, and would benefit from the 1 more STR than the 15 ranged attack.

Just as an aside - Hellstorm, learn how to post properly on forums before trying to make quote-tree posts. It gets really confusing and nobody's going to read what you write.

Also, there's a Preview button for a reason. See if the post looks readable, and if it isn't - please fix it before posting.

How can I lie when I have the results right infront of my face? How can I possibly lie when the logs were recored autmatically as they were dumped into the directory?

Get off your high horse. Accuracy isn't the god stat. It peaks out. If you cannot believe that, seriously, you're the idiot. Continue to sink money into accuracy equipment.

Hey pere, I just spent 3.7 mil on 1 int.

I'm cool.
