Multi-Plat Top 20 Games Of The Decade

Jan. 1st 2000- Jan. 1st 2010 is 10 years, end of story. Sheesh.

Yeah, was referring to all the talk of "Well, you can't start at year 0" stuff. Can't start at 0, but can start at 2000. Decades don't have to start on a 1, and referencing a decade of time can begin anywhere. It's like celebrating a Bicentennial, you don't need to wait to get to a 0, you just celebrate that shit in 1976.

I know :P it's really not a big deal to argue it.. now if they said "most important games of the new millennium's first decade" I'd disagree cause 2000 wasn't part of the new millennium :)

I made a post with a list of it but yeah it's midway through discussion. Maybe Ele can edit her post to quote my post or something.
 
Just watched the video. Eh, a lot of game that were on there really didn't deserve the spot they got in my opinion. There's a few games that I thought should have been higher up on the list as well and some that I don't think needed to be there at all.

And just who are these guys doing the video anyway? They're like just one European company, what do they know?

They called it Game Radar's list though. So it's what them as a group feel. Many other sites made lists, I'll post some later.
 
I'm seriously gonna split the topic into a semantics thread and a "best video games of the past ten years" thread.
 
If i see one more post about the semantics of the decade i'm just going to delete the entire thread and let everyone start over. Splitting be damned, this is beyond retarded.

Also seeing and hearing Morrowind for the first time in so many years since i beat that game to death (4 characters: Melee, Destruction Magic, Summoning Magic, Ranged all leveled up until they couldn't level anymore) made me so nostalgic. I almost want to dig out my xbox again.
 
I have Morrowind, but I didn't get very far when I first tried it. I wandered into a cave and freed some prisoners and got my ass handed to me.'

Now that I've played Oblivion and Fallout 3, I should probably give it another look now that I have a better idea of what to expect from the gameplay.

Yeah I'm thinking the same thing here, didnt get too far so I should probably revisit the game.

It's backwards compatible with an update =) I'm still trying to get somewhere.

I have to say it's far more difficult a game over all than Oblivion or Fallout. Morrowind has proven to be quite the epic challenge for RPGs.
 
Gotta keep in mind that this list was the top 20 most important games, not necessarily the best games.

This is true. However, like KOTOR 1&2, i'd still much rather play it on the xbox because the game won't be all glitchy and shit all the damn time.

I don't know what? Its not exactly a secret that the 360 has a terrible time running xbox games. PC version acts the same way with me. Sound goes out, voice tracks get off. Much easier to just play it on the xbox.

Nah I've just remember a lot of glitches on the xbox of morrowind too XD though the PC had em too. Was funny videos, but nothing big.
