See it was my impression, when I read it, that this was a list of things she'd already done. Now that I know more, it changes a little bit. Some of it seems to have been completed already (as far as the dates on the margine show) at the time of posting. Those of you that have disagreed with me for calling her a "slut" or anyone here for making fun of her, I honestly think its fair to call her that.
Where I grew up, if you slept around you were labeled one. You call a spade, a spade. Even the popular girls. "Yeah she's popular but if its rumored you have a big dick she'll be on it like flies on shit" is something I remember a guy I used to work with in high school that was popular, said of his ex-girlfriend. Guess his wasn't big enough, I dont know. (Was kinda shocked about finding that out, as she was a super popular cheerleader, lol)
Moreover, I think that if her parents find out, they should call her that too, at least just once. For shock value if anything. I know well that the typical psychology of an incredibly strict home environment (as stated by the brother) can sometimes lead to acting out sexually when you're away from said situation, because no one can dictate what you do outside of the home away from the rule makers and that is certainly a situation where you can feel empowered and (obviously) a release; energetically or spiritually.
What bothers me most is that (with not knowing the girls age or education level, only going on that the list, its decorations and immaturity level) this girl is treating her virginity and her body like a side-walk-sale. There is no meaning to it. You dont have to adhere to virginity rules in a religious sense much anymore but I should think that one would in a common sense format. A woman's virginity has always been highly prized, it used to fetch things for the family that would and could pay for the rest of their lives if you're in higher social standing; therefore it was touted as a woman's most prized possession. No one is really getting a dowery anymore (at least I hope not, that would fucking suck for them) but it should still be valued by the woman as a prize.
I, as many of you my age do, come from the abstinence preached generation. I do agree with it, in theory. I think she should be, and should have been, taught that giving yourself away freely like she seems to be doesn't win you accolade or any special attention. It doesn't fullfill something within you that suddenly makes you a special and wanted person, it just makes you look (and honestly is) like someone just desperate to be accepted, appreciated and recognized. Think about it, why would she sell out her brother like that? She wanted appreciation and recognition, most narcs do. This opens up a whole lot of dysfunction on her part and the rest of the family. She shouldn't need to objectify herself to feel wanted. Later in life I think she'll understand that, or at least I hope.
Kids these days (I feel so old for saying that) don't see the value in saving themselves for something special and meaningful when they absolutely should. If you're not going to adhere to the religious doctrine of saving yourself until marriage in the name of your chosen diety, you should at least have it explained to you that you should save it for someone special. It isn't a race. Bagging more chicks or dudes than your friends doesn't make you cool, it just makes you more likely to get an STD. People should really, really get with the times and see that our sexed-up society isn't going to make sense to kids hearing "Save it! Abstain!" etc. Children should be educated in the ways to protect themselves and that you can't just bank on "Well we're kids, we won't have anything catchable" or "I can't get pregnant if <insert any number of horrifically retarded excuses there are out there>".
She should be taught how to protect herself and she should be taught that sex doesn't equal love or station. Maybe her parents should give her a fucking hug every once in a while, too. I dont know.
I still thought it was funny.
