Tiamat, I'm truely sorry for the otherwise....poor behavior of some of the people here.
But as for this topic....it's been said, that there's no actual proof...so I'm not gonna really take either side, but I'll just leave it at "I'm sorry", to Vang if this really did happen, to Shel if it did not. I'm hopefully not gonna dignify this topic with my presense from hereon, it's..shameful~
 
Sorry off topic. My main language I consider to be 1. English 2. Spanish 3. Japanese. Yes yes I am japanese but I have lived in Spain for more than 21 years which is 80% of my lifetime. Thats why, I consider myself more European than Japanese.

GM's do nothing for us Tiamat, especially if the offender is a JP player.

As Xerius said, it's much easier for Shel to get a picture of the chat log than it is Vang, and I don't see Shel doing that either.

Tiya: Exactly.

Tiamat: True, Vang has no evidence, and you are correct for saying that evidence is power, but if you are going to defend your friend, which I respect of you for doing so, it would be courteous to ask Shel for some evidence from him as well. Vang, on the other hand, I'm sure is trying hard to get his own evidence at this time.
 
I will keep contacting GM's until they give me the chat log or they suspend my account. 1 of the 2....I honestly don't see why Shel can't come here and explain, considering he can speak decent english.
 
I think what Tiamat is trying to say is that since Vang is the one bringing up the accusation, the burden of proof is on him to show that Shel is the thief. (I say this not leaning either way, just clarifying his position.)

I, for one, would love to see a GM retrieve all the logs regarding this - that way we can either see Shel twist in the wind over an obvious 8-10 million gil theft, or Vang can try to explain why he kept a lie going for this long without any credence.

But for now, I reserve all judgement. If nothing else, it's been a fun little topic, hasn't it?

There was a long pause after I first said the incident was on Sunday... I'm going to assume he did a search for any conversations I had, and skimmed through them (There weren't many, I was only on a few mins).

Another long pause after I said it was in Port Jeuno, Sunday night at about 7pm pst... I assume he found it, because he said he's sorry it has happened, pretty much confirming it's true.

I'm a fairly fast typer, and I made my last response immediately... I have the feeling he didn't want that evidence posted at the end. :P
 
Oh, derogatory comments based on national origin are specifically mentioned in the very brief summary of the user agreement in the help desk menu, which is why I mentioned that part specifically.
 
Looks like a blow off to me.....
