That being said Neche I had spoke with Enkratiea a GM who did nothing but tell me to fuck off in a nice manner. I had argued that those were chat logs for me and that I needed to see them for some important info i had typed out that day.

Enkratia apperantly knew exactly what i was getting at, because he said something along the lines of "This wouldnt be involving anyone in particular would it?" and I said no, and that I needed them for my own records. He said since I talked to other players on the logs that I could not have them. I told him that i wanted my /tell to myself then since it was me and only me and he still refused it and ended my call.

Your Screenshot only shows that you called a GM on the matter, he completely blew you off. He never said one way or the other who was lying, or that anything happened. All he said was he would investigate.

Note that there was a long pause before he said this, and I think it's pretty obvious that during that pause he was looking through the log. Note that he didn't say "I'm sorry if this has happened."

Also, why would he stop tells so quickly when I asked to see the log, or to have him quote Vang's tell to himself if the whole thing was a lie?

They always say it though, it is a standard response. My dumb ass roommate (at the time) called them once for someone else. A friend of his made a comment “Player-X thinks I’m a Fag”. My roommate took it as the guy was calling him a Fag. (Where in reality Player-X was just hitting on him because he is a Mithra and didn’t know he was a male player) So my roommate being the Drama King he is goes and calls a GM about this. The GM said the same thing “I’m sorry this has happened, I will investigate.”, even though the incident never actually happened.

I’m not saying Vang’s case didn’t happen, but that response isn’t proof of anything, but a case of reading more into something that what is really there. What we need is a GM to say “Yes, Vang sent the boots and Shel removed them from his Inbox.” since the case hinges on Vang said he sent the boots Shel says he never got them.

As for the delay in his response, I can come up with 20 different things that could have caused that and so can Tiamat, thus it can’t be used as irrefutable proof.

There is one thing in common with a virtual item and a tangible item, both take real life time to aquire. By you stating that you agree if his tangible items were to be stolen, he would have cause for complaint. Tangible or not, it still requires an investment in time. And Time is something you can never get back, no matter how many lawyers or GM's you call. This whole Debackle is based on Principal.

Let's say PlayerX steals a Pair of Boots from PlayerY, then takes that virtual item into Real life cold hard Cash. Would you care about it then?

If you don't know that the "You know you play too much FFXI when ... is a joke then you take forum and these threads way too seriously.

Secondly, I'm 43 Vang. Hardly old. And when you finally grow up little BOY and I do mean BOY, you will learn this also. As you have soooo much more to learn in life, besides bein' full of "Vang" or whoever you are.
