Well, Brett has done it again.

Keep shitting on the hardwork of other players, fucking Diva.

Dude is HAS to go to back to green bay now. with the jets it was a maybe depending on the schedule. now, he has to face the team he was the poster boy to for about 13 years. Not only that, if i were the player that was in the starting QB position for the vikings till now i'd be plenty pissed.

Jackson was so happy to have all those rumors about him being second string finally put to rest and now this happens? It royally sucks for him. It'll be like when Chuck Knoblauch went to the yankess from the twins and then played in Saint Paul. Fans were throwing trash at him. I have a feeling Bret Favre will be lucky if garbage is all that gets thrown at him when the vikes play in GreeenBay

Brett, Brett, Brett, tsk tsk when are you gonna learn its time to let go /sigh. This will be an interesting season no doubt.

If you were offered 10 million for a starting quarterback job and no mini camp, any one of us would take it.

The Vikings must really see something they like.

Did anyone honestly think he was done? Not even the vikings players believed him.

At one point i liked this guy. Even when he became real annoying after the second retirement i felt he was still a good guy. I am so tired of him at this point... I now officially wish an injury apon him. Please get hurt.

I'm betting on the fact that he's gonna get injured. I mean think about it, a lot of players despise what he is doing right now. In addition to that, think how many Packers (and Jets) players have it in for him now? His offensive line is gonna have to work extra hard to keep him from getting hit, because chances are they're gonna be shooting to cause an injury. LOL Osyris, you just might get your wish man.....

I think I may kill myself if he comes back again after this. I didn't mind it the first time, but seriously?

he signed a 2 year contract this time.

Ryuoho: the man has played football for over a decade and a half. he is one of the most prestigious QB's in football history. i highly doubt this has anything to do with money.

It has to do with money AND skipping training camp. Chris Carter said it best on ESPN. "I'd come back if they allowed me to skip training camp. It's 35+ year old players dream".

The money thing. He can make 12 million this year. He has kids. I live in Hattiesburg and I've seen his estate. It's huge...I'm talking massive. It almost looks like a little town. He also donates some of that money to Oak Grove High School and Southern Miss.

Well i'll buy the training camp bit, but i'm not sold on the money thing yet. Is there a listing of his contract history? i wanna see what the packers paid him the 13 or so years he played for them. i seriously doubt he did this cause he needed the money. unless there is something else going on that isnt publicly awear.

I don't have a problem with Brett coming back again, he could have handled it better... (ok he could have handled it a lot better), but if he wants to play and has the ability to play i see no problem there.

For the Vikings it's a good move, Tavaris is terrible and Sage is slightly above terrible so it helps them on the field (providing Brett is still able to play at a high level after surgery a few months ago), as well as with ticket sales, jersey sales, etc.

As far as Packer fan goes, the Packers made the business decision to stick with Aaron Rodgers. Just like in any profession, if you can't return to your company, there is no reason why you can't come back with a competitor, in this case the Vikings. Packer fans should concentrate on hoping there team is better than 6-10 this year instead of getting all angry about Favre.

I was more referring to the starting job and no minicamp. It's basically all the prestige without any of the work.

Just the first 45 seconds are about Brett Farve, but I thought it was funny.

As long as a team wants Favre, no one should complain.

I guess Favre forced the Vikings to sign him?

Its a good fit and I don't think anyone is shedding any tears for the god awful Travaris Jackson or the oldbutsomepotential Sage Rosenfels. Could be a hella tough division, Bears Vikings and Green Bay all look like solid contenders. At least one won't make the playoffs and be a disappointment.

And yea, I think everyone is tired of this shit with Favre. No one would have been so annoyed if he had just signed with the damn Vikings a month or w/e ago...but now its just fucking ridiculous. I still like him though. This better not happen again though.

Well, he's stepping into probably the best situation. Throwing to future rookie of the year, Percy Harvin, and handing off to the best RB in the NFL imo. Not to mention their Defense isn't a slouch either.
