There are 2 sides to every transaction... they buyer and the seller

The seller i dont care about because they are using what they made ingame to make their real life experience better. This goes from the gil for rice folks to the Sanoske type. I dont fault them for trying to make money off of other people's stupidity.

The buyer on the other hand is trying to achieve status within the community through trading RL money for in game stuff. These people should be discovered and chased away because we dont want those types of people in the game.. you know the type that absolution attracts who have no morals and will do anything to get ahead in the game.

Now i understand that the seller cannot exist without the buyer but if the buyers would go away the value for selling would be so minuscule that the sellers would stop all together.

So i maintain i don't care if people sell and profit off of others stupidity but... buyers need to be made an example of.

I suppose whatever leads you to believe that selling isn't RMT and just as bad as buying works for you. I still think it's epic fail though.

Not too ironic... seeing as i fully support people selling their characters... i just don't support people who buy and think that they should be publicly known. Also i look at EGS all the time when I'm sitting there wondering how much my account is worth when i decide to quit. I 100% do intend to sell when i quit... and there is nothing wrong with knowing your value.

You support selling accounts but don't support buying accounts? If you didn't want anyone to buy accounts, wouldn't that defeat the purpose of people trying to sell them?

"Ok, we need to STOP these account buyers! But I'm going to sell my account when I quit!" Yeah, that makes sense.
