merit

Just wanted to pose a question to everyone out there. I've been having a hard time getting parties on my Samurai and it's got me wondering, what gives? Personally I think I do pretty good damage as far as DDs go and I have war, thf, nin, rng subjobs depending upon what the party wants. Yet it...

Thank you puddings.. Thunder - maxed Ice - maxed MP - maxed Ele :6, Enf :2 INT - maxed (this one was a bish) Nice pt with chain 11-12's to get it

Sorry to make this if it has already been posted but seeing all these "what should I merit" posts makes we want to know. Is there anywhere online that lists what job can merit what stat and how many points you can put into it? Thought it would be nice to look at. Edit: Nevermind i found it on...

now that im am closing in level 75 as PLD (im currently level 74) i have begun to wonder... what should i merit when i hit level 75? i have been thinking maybe VIT but some ppl are telling me that may not be a good idea... so then i thought DEF... but then again my def with all my buffs and shit...

I was wonder as a BLM should a Level thunder or Ice For merits. Now I know it may be soooo simple to you guys and you might say well Duh thunder does more DMG naturaly, But what I was takin to account was Ice staff, ya that cheap staff that not only adds 10% to said element, but Also adds...

For a while now, i believe'd one could merit a single ability on a certain catagories. I am just wondering of someone has or can make a list on how many points can each/certain abilities can be max'd up too in its own catagories. I.E. Others: Has Increase and decrease emitiy/crit rate and spell...

Ok, if you have 2 jobs 75, say ninja and warrior, and you get merit points for the warrior like berserk timer. Then you go and sub warrior do the merits still count?

A long time ago, i was told certain merits, such as str, vit, enmity, hp and mp could be used on all jobs even if they arent lvl 75. I remember some posts on here how when lvl'n rng it was best for them to get - enmity so they wouldnt get hate. Growing nin's that used +enmity to keep hate. Now...

Just curious if Job Specific Merits are active if they are Sub job-ed? i.e. You lvl you 75 Red Mage and Merits in + in wind accuracy. When you play your 75 Blm/Rdm, are those RDM merits active? I recall reading somewhere that they arn't, anyone offer some insight?

This came out on Playonline.com : "Changes to Merit Points The maximum number of merit points a player may use in each adjustable status category will be increased in the next version update! The maximum number of usable merit points will increase in all categories in the...

Because I haven't seen this officially posted on allah or mysterytour thought I'd share this because I always wondered. Mysterytour says something vague about it.. maybe I just missed it though. Question: Do merit point enhancements carry over to other jobs at lower levels? Data collected so...

There should be a 2nd subjob that is 1/3 your main level. For example you can be 75PLD/37NIN/25WAR. Now that would be a tank! Or 75MNK/37NIN/25WAR would be the ultimate damage dealer. Forget Merit Points, they suck. Give me a 2nd subjob.

Hi, Ive been reading posts on other sites and people have mentioned the Merit system. Anyone know what it is/what it does?
