Considering I'm the individual who claimed Despot WITH DIA I can say with some degree of certainty it had not worn off when it was stolen. It went directly from red to purple as I was about to use Predator Claws, while at least 3 pets were attacking it. And it wasn't just one PLD voking it, we also got to see Stun go through at the same time. I was also one of those Flock members there that verbally abused those poor poor SE members that had just gotten a free gem. I can confirm Hellstorm wasn't called any naughty words but I did take my time to say a few choice things about other members and the shell in general. As one of our members said so eloquently last night, you can take that gem and shove it up your asses.

I started in this thread just explaining a couple things about hate, and it kind of escalated. When I heard about this I was like "eep that sucks", but as a bst who has been MPK'd and has had even the most miniscule NMs stolen from me while soloing I am just used to it happening. This is the same, as a shell we aren't reeling over this by any means, we just want to make sure that the people who did this are known and we don't appreciate it and try to set a precedent for others who think it is okay to do things similarly. If/when we do Tiamat we practically expect it to get stolen on Quetz and pretty much any server, but we want to do it anyway. We know the risks involved so I would just appreciate it if people would stop assuming that we don't and are just that naive.
 
I am simply replying to the comment regarding doing sky normally. I also need to clarify that I don't farm with TheFlock as I have my own linkshell that I call home. TheFlock is more a social shell to me, as well as a haven for those times when my linkshell has very few people that are not afk.

Anyways, I have done 5 kirin's with TheFlock - 6 if you count BoL's, and to be totally honest, it is the most fun I've had in this game since I was killing rabbits in west ronfaure as a level 1 whm of the glory days. Whoa, run on sentence - anywais!

Yea, TheFlock could do it the normal way, but I think the only thing that might be more fun than 8 crabs and 10 Diabolos owning up a Kirin, would be an all out melee burn.

Its incredible the speed Kirin can be destroyed by just BST's and SMN's, and there is no telling what else they could do. Kite killing is still fun in my book, but has nothing on TheFlock.

That isn't to say I disagree with anyone saying it would solve the problem. It would as long as the tank didn't die. Its just much more fun like this, and I echo Mattaru's belief in that. R-Tards voke spamming claimed NMs is cheap.

Don't know if my post came off condescending or something, but I wasn't trying to imply anything of that sort. A lot of people just seem pretty fired up about this in a very personal way and making it LS vs LS issue more than asking people to take responsibilities for their actions.

If he actually made an intelligent post and described the situation, providing proof in his favor, he might actually be able to convince someone. However, since he's a moron, and conclusive evidence is hard for him to come up with in this situation, there is little chance of that happening.

The main basis was still that they asked for the stone back from supposed leaders of the shell (taking responsibility for the actions of their members) to which there was a rejection. Its not as if this was a ra/ex steal where nothing can be done now to try to mend the situation even slightly. Leaders of the shell have rejected giving back that which they took, and all defense of the shells actions have either been in the form of I wasn't directly involved or I'm not a part of the shell but.

These comments can bring the shadow from those directly involved to cover the entire shell very quickly.

If he brought 100%, iron-clad proof to the table that it was plainly legitimate, you think ANYONE would change their minds?

If he gave the stone back publically(sp) appologized, yes i would say ok no harm no foul.

Until that time, i shall call SE the new BoL

If he brought 100% iron-clad proof, most of us would at least CONSIDER his case, and if this proof was truly definitive, yes, most of us would. Despite what you may think, most of the people that post here are pretty smart folks.

Yes, Hellstorm is a moron, yes, most of us don't like him because he's a moron. However, smart people can generally seperate the fact that they dislike a person, and the fact that that person is right(when providing evidence, etc.)

You are posting with the LS in your sig. It doesn't seem to bother you that you are in the LS at hand, and trying to throw prejudgement in.

Hellstorm can't bring iron-clad proof to the table because your LS failed. You were given the opportunity to mend the situation, and your leaders rejected it.

That's not making up our minds before we know the full story, Hellstorm knew the post would happen if he didn't mend the situation, and still didn't try to fix it. He and those defending him deserve what's being thrown at them right now.

There's also a 0% chance of him ever bringing such evidence to the table, as
1. The shell admitted they stole it
2. There were several dozen witnesses who saw that it was stolen
3. Taking an NM from another group when they're not remotely close to wiping has been considered stealing for as long as the game's been in existence.

To even bring forth any means of defense after the groups already admitted to being guilty is just ridiculous...


Furthermore, he acknowledged himself that it was stealing, so why the crap would he suddenly try to change views and say what he did was "legit"? Not even OJ's lawyer could get Hells out of this. =/

He's simply not posting because he knows what he did is widely frowned upon and he thinks turning a blind eye to it will make people magically forgive him because he's "ignorant to the situation" or something.

Rampagesama think about it this way, if you continue to defend/condone stealing... And lets say SE breaks and you want to join another End game LS.... Whats the chance Kaizen Perse or fury will accept you knowing you condone stealing or hacking or w/e...

My suggestion while you still have face is to stop

I think its funny because alot of SE members whom i know sent me a tell asking if my LS is recruiting... thought id throw that out to you guys.

Was refer to the events that have past.

On the same quote, while you may "no harm no foul", I'm certain a majority of the community would. I hear all the "Jins" and "BlessedEternity" which have long past, but people STILL cling to them.

We are NOT the Jins, we are NOT BlessedEternity. I would tell people to get over it, but clearly they haven't and won't.
