The thing is in a lot of cases, you have to trade off one stat for another. In the case of Elvaan while they do a vast amount of STR, the highest of all races, they also lack a vast amount of DEX which is now becoming far more important that once previously was. They also have the highest MND, but severely lack MP. Mithra lack a lot of STR and MND, but we make up for it in other ways like increased DEX, AGI and moderate amounts of INT and MP. No matter what race you chose, they will always have some added boost to the job that other races do not and that's the mark of a standard MMO.

I agree. This is why Taru and Mithra can keep up with elvaan...High dex can make up for the discrepancy in STR.

And yeah, that's why any race can be good at any job. Tarus have higher INT and MP, but elvaans have higher VIT and HP. While not as important as INT and MP, it allows them to stay alive longer, and doesn't neccesarily result in you being one-shotted just because you have sorcerer ring latent active. Not only that, elvaans also have decent RSE2 to make up for their lack of MP and INT. Although mainly used as RDM, due to better choices available for BLMes in general.
