Dragonball Z (Not a joke)

if you come into this looking at it as just an action movie, with no relation whatsoever to the anime, it looks like a decent flick that might be worth a watch.

if you expect it to be flashy and everything just like the anime though you're just going to be let down.

it's still a brilliant idea, just like Snakes on a Plane was. a lot of new fans will watch it for the idea, and the old fans will watch it for the comic relief (ie: to see how bad it is)

Ok now that that is over. Why even name this Dragonball? All they did was take names from the manga and give it to these people. This shit isn't even close lol.

I thought the trailer did look decent enough, it's just not dragonball in any way shape or form. :|
 
What's with the white Goku?

I bet they have this planned out to be 3 movies

2: Vegeta attacks and Piccolo is resurrected from his death at end of the 1st film to help Goku. It is hinted at the end that Vegeta works for Freeza.
Alternatively the movie is a fight with Freeza with Vegeta switching sides halfway through.

3: They combine the Freeza, Cell, and Buu sagas wherein Earth is the stage and being attacked by a character that has qualities of Freeza, Cell, and Buu, probably Freeza's name, appearance, and army with Cell's abilities. Vegeta and Piccolo both come to help Goku. Movie ends with Goku sacrificing himself.
Alternatively, Freeza is used and dies in the 2nd movie and this about an enemy with just Cell and Buu's sagas combined.

Gohan probably has a 50/50 chance of appearing at all, higher doubts for the rest of the team.

If this movie doesn't flop then I can see if I'm right, I'd love to see a man in blackface cast as Mr. Popo

It's the Bourne Identity all over again, except this one has more than just 1 character's name from the series so it's a far better representation.
 
Also how can you have Roshi without him being lecherous and sporting a near ZZ Top look?
 
Who was the old guy at the end of the trailer? He looked more like Roshi.

I think this is going to be so much fail it needs a new word to describe how fail it'll be.. however, I thought of a tagline for the movie!

"So much fail it makes Mortal Kombat Annihilation look like Art"

While I do agree that the movie will fucking suck, there is a thread about it on the first page. So, you must not have looked hard.
