Lol...just want to point one thing out.
Pretty much everything Ascension has done, DrgnAsh accomplished first.
The shell may have died, but it was the best HNM/God shell of it's time.
BTW, I like how you fucked over Reality... he was all up and prepared for your little "trial", sold all his other job's gear and pimped out his RNG equipment just to please you guys, and then you tell him to fuck off because why? You decided you don't like him? Hmm... that's awful mature.
On the topic of not /sea <insert name> to find a camp time, there was an incident where we had gone to camp Charbydis after hitting up Behemoth. Not even 15 minutes later I see Ascension running into SSG as I'm levelling there, and hear how you are all countercamping them out of spite because we wanted to camp Behemoth for a change. Faggy much? D:
Topic 1: first of all, when did this become a shouting match about drgash vs Ascension? Secondly, there are two things drgash accomplished before us, and those are Divine Might and Kirin.
On Kirin: I heard, though this might not be the case, that the entire reason Drgash choose to do Kirin on that day was because you all had heard that we were going to try it for our first time that weekend. This may not be the case, but this is what i was told by someone who went with you all.
Topic 2: Best hnmshell of its time? Hardly, this isn't an insult to drgash by any means either... first of all, you were not an hnm shell, but rather a social shell that occasionally did hnm. Secondly, if we want to go into who accomplished more, or what first, ascension will generally win out, by stats. Drgash was a very accomplished LS, but the claims that you made in that sentence do not have numbers to back it up.
Topic 3: we fucked him over? Never did I, or any of the other leaders tell him to sell his equipment. We never said he would get in or even a trial. He expressed interest, and we said we would talk to our members and see what they thought.
This is the process we go with for anyone who shows interest in the LS. First, we discuss what the ls is with them, and make sure they understand our expectations, and also find out what their expectations are. Then, we talk to the existing members about said person. After that we invite them to an event, usually a sky run, and if the do not act like an idiot/play moderately well/listen to instructions they are in if they choose to join.
Now, having explained the basic recruitment process we can get to the topic at hand. If even one person has an objection to them that ends the process right there. Why? Because in order to be effective people have to get along in the shell. Ascension is not an LS made up of random people who simply want to kill shit, it is made up of a group of people who generally become close knit friends, and rely on each other for help not only when doing LS events but when doing other things like BCs, CoP, Second/third country missions, random small ra/ex mobs etc etc. Perhaps the reasoning behind the objection is not mature, that has been the case many times and i have tried to resolve issues between people when it has been, but the reasoning behind it makes sense. Administratively, a leader does not want to bring people into the group who might cause problems, even if the problems come from existing members and not the new member him/herself.
Lastly, in regard to Svina's post, as many have said we do not do /sea all <name> for pop times. I recall the time that you are mentioning, and on the forums someone, I can even look back in our forums logs to see who it was if you like, had posted an approximate time for the pop (it was rather close to a server up too, so it was not difficult for anyone to track multiple NM at that time) and had asked for help popping it (I am pretty sure it was one of our bards, probably xan... our rdms have popped it by themselves in the past). 2-3 people went to the area, and started to kill some of the spawn mobs. Then, some 8-10 people from Drgash showed up to counter them. Only after that point in time did we as a group show up. It was this day that Jonas threatened to MPK us in sky, and really this is the day that I mark as when a very real animosity between the two shells developed... though I never understood why that was the case. Furthermore, when talking to some of the members of drgash they didn't understand the reasoning either. I remember I teleported one, and we talked for sometime after the port… when she found out that I was in Ascension, and that I was the leader she said something to the effect of “Wow, you are not nearly as bad as I thought you would be!” to which I was astonished… anyway, I am getting off topic here.
I will say again, /sea all <name> is not a tactic we have ever used. /sea <place name> is one that we have and continue to use. The major difference? In order for /sea <place name> to be an effective tool you have to have some idea of when the monster was popping to begin with.
Now, onto Jonas' post.

you know, I find it amazing how ascension can complain about ethics to anyone.....considering i have known the members since they started as that ls HNMhunters or whatever it was called. They have proved to be the most dishonest and drama filled ls i have seen. It is widely known that Nasya cant be trusted because she acts like a Child. This is also the same for almaut and phazen, along with several other members. Also dont try to play it off, Slacker and myself started hunting HNM the same time you did so save the rightous comments for someone else, i know the whole story. This entire esipode with Svina is only one of the countless incidents where the innocence of Ascension is being attacked by the wolves of the server, Ascension has never done anything wrong or dishonest....my ass. I am not saying Drgnash was in any way inncocent because we werent, but don't try to take the high road with me because if you want to air dirty laundry we can. Just say the word Nasya, lets start telling stories because i have a truckload of them. Whining about people doing searches for you to find HNM time, like this is something new. I know you did it while Drgnash still played FFXI. Let the banter begin i guess....
Dishonest? let me see... there was one occasion where three members stole an NM, and i admonished them greatly for that. Aside from that, we have never done anything dishonest. In fact, we have gone so far as to avoid countering groups we are friendly with.
ex. One day we were told that Bune (this is recent) was up, and unclaimed, so we went to kill it. Later the people leading that party received a tell from Maseki saying that he had been tracking it and 1. wanted to know how we got the time (like I said we were told it was up, and unclaimed) and 2. asked that we stopped camping it. we did, it was that simple.
Jonas... I don't even know you. The one time we directly interacted was back in Labyrinth of Onozozo... Ose popped, and you invited my party to help you all kill it. That was it for direct interaction between us. Frankly, I have no stories about you... well, no I have two, but I would rather not mud sling, it is not something I do, and they are minor stories. I don't understand why you choose to flame me, if you want send me a PM or in game tell with your grievances, and I will do what I can to resolve them.
This topic has really strayed... ah well.
Davio >> although the basic recruitment process is outlined i this post i thought i would bring it briefly again for your benifit. The reason we have people come on one (or more) runs with us has a few reasons. Although one of them is to look at ability/teachability that is hardly the main purpose for it. We invite people to join our events because we want to get the person, and give them an opertunity to get to know us. Also, HNM hunting is not for everyone, so we liked to give people who may never have done so before a chance to see what the fights are like. This is what our "trials" are about. Gear and technique can change; personality, the ability to learn, and whether someone enjoys an activity like those we engage in usually do not, and it is those factors that we look at most when recruiting.
