I am thinking of picking up the PC version of this since I don't have a gold account. Then again, offline co-op is probably better for me.
I'd pick up the PC version anyway for community content. Which I'm sure there'll be a lot of.

why are people stupid enough to buy console versions of Valve's stuff?Hell, half of what keeps their games alive is the modding community which, well, doesn't do so well come console games.

Thats a dumb ass question.
I buy the 360 version because i have 15 friends on left 4 dead every night. Thats why i am stupid enough to buy a Valve game for a console.
I have a gaming rig in the $4000 price range. I dont play PC games with anyone online. I play them for one thing only and that is graphics.
Why are you so fucking stupid that anyone who is not in line with you and your habbits is a considered a moron?
gaming computers are cheaper to build if you know where to get stuff for good prices than consoles arespecially reliable console and will have comparable graphics..
but come the fawk on, Valve's engine is OLD and such, you don't need a next gen console type power to run their games.
I'm pretty sure the "" after the first sentence meant she didn't really think everyone was stupid for buying a console version of a pc game.
I wouldn't say they're cheaper to build, but they're definitely cheaper to upgrade.
You're going to be hard pressed to build a decent gaming rig for $300 or under from scratch. $600 is pretty reasonable for a PC that can run current games on average/higher than average settings. Engines aren't the only thing that make up a games system requirements. My old machine could run Half-Life 2 great, but sucked at TF2. Same engine, but different rendering methods and poly counts.
Friend brought the game over last night, was tons of fun, but it seemed real easy on normal difficulty. Guess since we're so used to FPS games we had no real problems watching each others back, only thing that got me was the Witch, didn't know I should've left it alone, friend fooled me into thinking it was a survivor, LOL.
Online wise I really enjoyed being the zombies, espicially the Hunter, since I usually had top damage with it. It's a great game, but I got a feeling with 2 player co-op you can rush by real easy through the story, and multiplayer I didn't see too many modes. It's fun for what it is, but I won't be buying it, seems like it'll lose it's appeal after a few weeks.
I've found using molotovs is the best way to take them out. Our try and lead them in range of the mini-gun thats stationed there.
Yes, make is right.
Molotov them and just run, they'll die from the flames.
For the first part of the finale, you can just hide in the closet, have 2 people crouch, and 2 people stand, have the crouching people use auto-shotty, and the standing people use the m16. ( are they m16s? ) Best way to do it without taking any damage before the tank imo
Haha.
I always light myself on fire by accident with the molotovs.
Later tonight if you want I can help you guys beat all the campaigns on expert, they're really easy if you got a smart group.
