Multi-Plat Left 4 Dead

We could use a fourth. I'll let you know the next time we play. I don't think it'll be tonight, though.

We found out tonight that forcing the tank to climb to different height slows it down quite a bit, like going up / down a crate.

To dodge the rock it throws, you need to change direction after the rock leave his hand or it will hit you like a missile.

Molotov is really effective, and in case you dont know, you run faster holding a med pack/pain pill than holding your primary gun. you can actully kite it in a big area.

Another good way to deal dmg is go in point blank range and unload you auto shot gun while it's pounding someone on the ground, just got remember run away before it kills the guy on the ground.
 
Beat Blood Harvest on Advanced last night with some friends. I hit the tank with a molotov and ran, and if one of the guys hadn't shot it with a pistol once i would have gotten the man vs. tank achievement.
 
I've beaten it all on Expert :P it's a bitch but awesome. About 9 or so more achievements to go x.x I'll never get Man vs Tank cause people shoot it :( or bots shoot it.

I've been trying so hard to get it but it is just so hard to not have a stupid bot shoot it or one of your friends tries to save you and shoots it.

what i did was, me and a friend set up a private room, on normal.
its important to do it on normal because the main step to doing this does not work on easy.
At the beginning we killed off both bots, which may take a bit cause they keep trying to help each other up, but they can only fall down 3 times so thats nice, unless u get both of them down just leave them there to die.

we loaded up on ammo and made our way on out and carefully fought until we got to a Tank. I let my friend take hate from the Tank right off the bat and he kited it for me, make sure you have them run like hell cause if he goes down getting em back up aint easy.
but while he did this i unloaded on the Tank with my auto shotty until i gained hate and i ran around like crazy taking whatever shots i could get.
sadly i was taken down when he was near death, but happily in my last stand and a few shots from the pistol, i took him down.
it helps if you have Molotovs or something like a gas can to catch him on fire while you fight him.

I finally got Man vs Tank and stuffs :P I have Untouchables, Stomach Upset, Lamb 2 Slaughter (I think it's bugged :( ), Zombie Genocidest (getting there :P), Safety First, and Nothing Special.

I'd say all of those are the hardest I've had to deal with :( cause bots fail so hard they can't do anything except maybe Safety First and people fail so hard they can't do ANY of those XD

I and a friend just took it on sorta :P that is, I threw a molatov,my friend ran off elsewhere (avoiding the tank all together), and I just kited the tank easily around XD I can kite that tank anywhere as long as there's a circular path I can use.

During VS. mode, if you are on the human team and have a bot, you are at a huge advantage. If you are the zombie team and have a bot, you may as well just quit. Completely useless.
 
How the fuck did you get untouchables?
 
no, Untouchables is what I have left XD as well as the other achievements I posted.

Lamb 2 Slaughter is bugged :(
 
Oh sorry I misread that, and yeah I don't see how the fuck you could get that.
 
untouchables is actually fairly easy if you wanna get some friends together and totally not do it legitimately :P as in like... team of survivors go through the finale but they just melee in a corner and the team of infected (on versus dur, cause you can get the achievements there too) just doesn't attack at all and when the dood who becomes the tank becomes the tank, the tank just stands there and lets you beat him down lol. Totally doable cause melee-ing is so OP :P
 
Ok so me and my friends have slowly been working on Dead Air on Expert and I could use a little advice to help us along.

Any advice on witches when they can't be avoided? Our strategy has been basically to just let the person with the lowest health take one for the team and startle her and die so then she runs off.

Also for the tank whats the best way to take it out when we don't have any fire available? We basically have people just take one for the team again and get downed while we unload on it until either the tank or the team mate dies.

Any other advice for expert play is welcome because we have spent far too much time on Dead Air and we ended last night after the tank literally spawned outside the Safehouse door on Chapter 4 and preceded to kill us all and then we decided to say fuck it and start fresh again today.

Left 4 Dead DLC Announcement Coming Soon

In a video podcast over at Kotaku, Chet Faliszek, one of Left 4 Dead's writers talked about the future for Left 4 Dead and more importantly, the game's upcoming downloadable content.

Faliszek stated that the DLC for both 360 and PC, which is set for a simultaneous release, will be announcd "shortly". Faliszek noted that if it hadn't have been for the holiday period, the announcement would likely have been made already.

The new DLC according to Faliszek is said to include new versus maps and "some new stuff". What the "new stuff" is, only time will tell, but we're praying for some more co-operative scenarios.

I should have gotten untouchables the other night but my L4D glitched or something. My friend got it and we started yelling, but i started yelling louder when i didn't get it unlocked.
