Wow. I had to come and read this for myself. My first flame! lol
Rhinegold, regarding Stunning a bomb - i have watched so many BLM's in their 70s throw out a Stun when the gob "readies a bomb" it isn't funny. It's a very effective ploy, especially when you get so much warning. A good BLM makes it look rather effortless, and for instance, in Angler Tunnel of Bibiki, it's pretty standard. A bomb is a powerful act by a gob, and efforts can and should be made against them. I was barfiring by macro, no problem, and keeping that up constantly, but that does not stop all the damage, as everyone knows, so I was healing my ass off as well. I asked you to Stun, and taught you to cast it when you get the warning, but you said it was "too hard" and that you were always in the middle of another cast. Many BLM i have watched are usually waiting to do a MB, so I am not clear why you weren't available to do a Stun.
And Silfer and Kaia, what a childish way to handle your disappointment. We got 11,000 xp before I left, so not sure what the whining is about. Kaia, I warped out of your party in Boyada Tree after I had been repeatedly killed following all the fly links and had had enough. Remember me exclaiming that I was sick of dying because we kept getting links! Casted my ass off that night, that's for sure, all the damage we were taking. We'd partied for a few hours, and no one else blamed me for leaving, because I got /tells from the other party members saying they would leave too.
The other time was in Kuftal Tunnel when I was killed there because the leader took us there on Earth Day when a stone was in our way and our party took aggro when we were cornered and snk/inv were wearing left and right, which everyone expected me to provide for them. I was killed there and the leader said get up now, so i reraised myself, and was instantly killed again by a Haunt. During death, I /telled a couple friends and was told that the Leader was a dope and I should get the hell out, so I did. My mistake for not slandering him to the party to justify my action. I had to HP, and just took my xp loss like a big girl. Guess that kind of thing enrages you.
Furthermore, before leaving the party yesterday with both Silfer and Kaia in it, I asked two other WHM to replace me and one answered and declined, and the other didn't answer. After all your nagging, Silfer, and me telling you more than once that you are exhaustingly unreasonable to demand all your cures the second they occur, i was fed up with your bossiness. A WHM has priorities, and Curing is definitely one of them! Not just your buffs and Erases! It was your arrogance that made me want to leave. That party had a BRD and a WHM and the rest were melee with more than one NIN sub, so you weren't the ONLY one who needed Silena, Paralyna, Stona, Regen, etc. Not to mention coming to you in the midst of battle for all the extra Protects that the mob was dispelling on the melee.
I also mentioned to the party how easy it is to MISS something with a BRD because of all the extra text a BRD's songs put out, but the prima donna in you would criticize me for seeing the haste wear on someone else and recasting on him. "I need Haste more than _____!" "Do me! Do me!" etc ad nauseum. Your party felt like a bad day at work. And that's one other thing. I work a full time job every day, and only get to play 4 hours on weekdays and on the weekends, that's MAXIMUM. Your snotty response to me when i replied to Kaia's surprising accusation that I ditch parties, "I don't warp out of parties - how else could I get from Level 67 - Level 72 in four weeks?!" and you said, "Actually, that's rather slow." (That was the last straw - i couldn't Warp fast enough after that shit. And you apparently feel I should "pay" for that.) For someone like me who has a lot of other stuff going on, that's damn respectable.
Finally, Passions, i don't think I have ever partied with you, but I do remember meeting you because you were all, "My Twin!!" etc because we have the same taru character. I was pretty shocked to hear you call me names! lol
