MMA

Whoa! Shit I haven't seen anything on them being matched up.

Well, like you guys said... I also believe Forest could beat Silva down. He often sets the pace of each fight with his energy, and the man just doesn't give up.

On the flip side... Silva IS an excellent fighter, and we all know he's pretty much a counter striker. That being said, if Forest does stick to his guns the way he usually does, he could potentially set himself up for a knock out. Silva will get the opportunity to strike back and he doesn't lack the ability to lay men out. He's done it before. Forest has a strong chin and can usually take a good beating, but he's also been knocked the fuck out.

So really, although I'm in Forests corner on this one, I can see it going either way.

thats the thing about forrest.. he can and will take a beating. i still think forrest is gonna win but you could flip a coin on this fight as to the winner.

I want to see it happen (forrest over silva), not only because I think it can and I think it'd be great for forrest, but IMO Silva needs to get taken down a peg so he'll start putting some effort back into his fights and be more exciting again. His last two fights have just been, shitty imo.

yes they were shitty but it was also cuz of the opponents. its hard to try and fight a guy that is just gonna fall to ground whenever you get close to him.

I couldn't agree more.

Yeah but, if you look at say the franklin fights and then his last two, more so Cote than Leitas, but its just alot better.

KARATE IS BACK!

Spoiler:
Machida... that was fucking great eh =) He crippled Evans.. fucking crippled him lol

I foresee Machida keeping the belt for a long time...

that was the best fight of the yr so far in my eyes. he knocked the shit outta that showboating douche bag. machida will be champ for a long time i think also.

Fuck yeah, that shit was amazing. Machida is the man, I hope he he keeps it a long time too. Itd be sweet to see a Machida vs. Silva fight if silva beats Forrest at UFC 101. Glad Hughes won too, although I wish it would have been by knockout. Dissapointed about Sherk as well and can't believe Berry lost. Overall great UFC though, much better than 97, and fuck thats awesome Machida won.

Still got some sick fights coming up too. Brown vs Faber 2 tomorrow night on versus, I hope Brown wins again. Fabers a good fighter but Browns a tight guy and seems to be a hell of a fighter. Also pretty much every UFC booked right now has some pretty stacked cards, so should be acouple a good months for MMA started off with this sick UFC tonight.

Kimbo Slice is going to be on the next TUF. It should be an interesting season. Going to be all heavyweights and no fighting to get on the show.

Thats pretty funny, considering all the shit Dana White talked on him back in the day. Evans and Jackson are the coaches too which will be interesting. Might have to tune in for that season.

Just a recap on all the recent shit that happened.

Mike Brown vs. Uriah Faber- Sick fight

Jose Aldo- Devastating Flying Knee

Arlovksi- Got knocked the fuck out by Rogers.

Tim Sylvia- Should just stop...

Franklin- Glad to see he won against Silva

Cro Cop- Who didn't see him leaving for DREAM right away?

Kongo- Sad to see he lost but it was a very good fight.

I can't wait for Forrest v. Silva. Going to be so good. And those of you who didn't read Forrest's book yet, should because it is very funny and gives a good insight to what kind of person Forrest is.

Overall I was disappointed with UFC 99, to many damn decisions. Swick fight was good, lol poke-cop win was a joke. I wanted Davis to knock out hardys ass too. Aldo-Brown will be a sweet fight, and UFC 100 should be beast. And yeah, Silva-Griffin is gonna be a brawl too.

tomorrow is the day gents. Brock VS. Frank. i wont be at work to see the fight so I'm expecting a lot of buzz from you all to learn what happened.

IMO i hope Mir wins.

I'm so unsure about that fight. TBH I'm nervous for GSP too... I hope he takes the fight to the floor.

U.F.C. 100

Here's my take on the fights

Lesner vs's Mir

First time Mir underestimated Lesners power you saw him halfway throw leg kicks just to eat a XXXL fist to the face. Mir will have to actually commit to busting him up almost in every fight you see Mir throw a unorthidox kick to the legs and I have no idea why he got major power if he swings it. So if he stands with Lesner he better give it 100% by all mean I hope Mir wins I have nothing against Lesner but the simple facts a guy who fights three fights and loses the very first one should NOT!! I repeat not have the belt he has not proven his worth or his duriability or expertise. I have seen improvement in his fighting but it seems when things become exciting he throws all reason to the wind along with the most important thing caution. If I was in his corner I would stress the point of always watch where your at Mir has made a living making big powerful men make mistakes and then submitting them. Thats the basis of his fighting he know most power house men focus mainly on that point power. Not ground or how to defend against it if Lesner has improved that area he may have a shot or on the other hand he could just pound the dog meat out of Mir if Mir makes the mistake of standing the whole time.

GSP vs's Alives

This is the one that has me scared now I love John Fitch he's one of my favorites but I knew he would probably fail if he didn't improve in power and defense. But Alives has the power has the defense and seriously scares me a little and GPS is more aggreasive when he doesn't have the belt . . . it's a fact he more hungry, competitive, and blood thristy when the belt isn't around his waste. GSP needs to be in the exact mind frame that he was against Serra, but a few things are not there like the fact that Serra is all mouth and actually offend GSP and claimed to win two in a row before the fight this kind of fuel makes GSP want it that much more. This one is going to be heck of a fight and just might just maybe take the lime light for the evening depending how the two mammoths fight after this one.

I will finish later time to close at my job to be continued . . . . .

For those of you ordering the fights yourself or your friends are be sure to got to ufc.com to order! You will get the preliminary fights free! which includes Jon Jones, Stephan Bonnar, C.B. Dollaway! Don't miss out bitches....oh and go Mir, GSP, Henderson!

U.F.C 100 continued

okay as I was saying next fight

my boy Jon Fitch vs's Paulo Thiago

This is will be another big threat for Fitch he's getting no breaks at the top of the list though we've seen him defeat better Diego Sanchez for one. Thiago is dangerous and has some massive power that may or may not be a factor. This one is all about how Fitch has recovered mentally on his first ever defeat versus GSP. I personally think he's better than Thiago and quicker, but if he's not in the mental frame he needs to be things might not go his way.

Dan Henderson vs Michael Bisping

This one is going to be a monster this is the calm rock versus the mouth furry both have something to prove both can be crazy good in there own way but Dan Henderson like most Pride fighters is having trouble getting the win in the octagon I think this will be the case in this fight Bisping can deliver great power and ground and pound it's time for Henderson to get settled and make his true debut.

Diaz vs Gulliard

Diaz needs to get on top Gulliard can defenitily bring the intensity and if he's not careful Diaz just might show him that BJJ is all about but for stand up Gulliard has a bit of a advantage but like all the Diazs he is a scrapper and can never count him out.

Quick question I'm on UFC.com but I can't find Time Warner to get the prefights there are alot of channels but Time Warner doesn't seem to be on there I'm ordering it here in San Antonio I'm not however ordering it online that would be just crazy I like it on my 52" flat screen

Found it!!! it's nothing for me I guess I will get the preshow fights after the main cards so . . . yea TWC rulezs!!!! can't wait

I just hope we get some good knockout and submissions, im tired of all the decision bull shit. Im workin tonight, gonna have to check it out after the fact which kinda sucks, oh well.
