i hope he does try gsp and gets a shit kickin again.
Do you guys not keep up with other organizations? It was announced months ago that the events would now be sharing fighters. When the Dream fighters fight in the U.S. its for Strikeforce, when Strikeforce fighters fight in Japan its for Dream.

Penn left the first time mostly because of contract disputes and whining with Dana, not really because the UFC didnt offer him enough competition, and that was a while ago.
I will admit i didnt know they were sharing, but i shouldve expected it since they did the same bs with fedors owners.
Also, i cant always agree with the rankings of organizations outside the UFC, because those guys, while they may be the best or near the top, they dont constantly fight the cream of the crop.
Besides, BJ Penn is the best at 155, if those guys want to prove themselves, they should run to him, instead of having BJ call them out, or run to other orgs. I dont think any of those guys have a chance of beating the BJ that has shown up the last couple fights, save for maybe Kenny Florian. I really do think he can come back better, anyone thats fought him once, I think can make it more competitive a second time around.

Strikeforce did just sign Hendo...and you guys forgot about Gegard Mousasi the future of MMA. The dude is in his early 20s and already a beast. Overeem is their HW champion, Werdum is still great. Nick Diaz has impoved tremendously and GSPs dream fight is with Jake Shields so yeah I would consider him good. King Mo is also a huge prospect. Their overall roster isn't like the UFC's but they have grown a lot in the last year and Scott Coker is doing a great job. Oh yeah and their Fedor vs. Brett Rogers was the most watched MMA event worldwide so yeah they have some things going for them.
The have money to throw at promotion, it was watched cause it was free, im sure the UFC still brings in more revenue, I could be wrong though. You also have to take into account all the people who get 4-5 guys together to order and watch a ufc, or goto a sports bar. Considering the Fedor/Rodgers fight was free i doubt it was to the same extent, also for having a Shields and Fedor fight, it was a pretty boring fuckin card. I have no idea why GSP wants to fight shields, I think hes a boring fighter. Also the two bolded are Dream fighters over strikeforce fighters, except hendo who is more at strikeforce as a fuck you to the ufc, whether he says so or not. Oh and Werdum couldnt hack it in the UFC, dos santos destroyed him and then his last fight with Silva also on the fedor card sucked ass too.
Mousasi himself said that his ultimate goal is to compete in the UFC.
Also, Fedor is not the overall concensus Number 1 HW. BJ Penn IS the best 155er, no one will argue that. However people do, and rightfully so argue that Fedor is or is not the best.
Hopefully your not one of those Fedor diehard fan boys, the man is a talented fighter, but i cant give him the Number 1 Nod, i cant give that to anybody to be honest. Hes a great fighter, but he might be past his prime man, a former Sams club Employee whos been training in MMA for a year, with no wrestling background nearly pounded out a win against him.
Im not a hater, but im not a fanboy. I dont think hes as good/bad as people say. If he came to the UFC, and beat atleast some of the HWs in the division, then i will give him the credit people are so quick to throw at him.
I mean, two of his biggest wins imo, Crop Cop and Nog were by decision, and theyre production has dropped a bit since fighting better competition in the UFC, granted Cro Cop has had some issues and Nog was sick prior to fighting Mir, but either way the UFC is where the true test lies, and the only way Fedor can put any doubts to rest. I fear its too late, because when his SF contract is up and if he signs with UFC and does bad, people will argue that he got too old.
I cant compare his situation with that of BJ Penn. There is no doubt in 99.9% of the worlds mind that he, right now, and when focused is the best 155er today, and possibly of all time.
