Naw Tiya... I don't bot but I did do some research about it. in asheron's call it was legal as long as you were present at the computer so I used my laptop account to finance my desktop account whenever I was playing. The difference was if you were asleep or out of the room it was considered cheating. I haven't been able to find any such loophole in FF but I have other methods.

Basically your Thfs driving prices up argument is a causation-correlation fallacy. Prices are increasing on NM drops, thieves camp NMs and often get the drops therefore it is the fault of the theif job players. In truth it is the fault of the players who most often get claims and drops which happen to be playing the most adept job for camping - thieves. People not Thief. If Thf didnt camp yet others did you would see the same thing, most likely even worse due to the greater market.

Hey look at me I used to arm on WHM... then I realized something... I was not only wasting MY time but my competitions... I was pissing away mobs with my measly gilfinder... So I found somethin else to do and came out ahead.
From what I understand, he came in, impressed with his ability to claim so teams up with a THF now. I'm not really seeing a pattern here except "stay away from my mob". It seems like coming in with TH1 was a success story for him because he made friends with rival THF there to get TH2 now. You undestand what I'm saying?
It would appear to me that before treasure hunter even becomes an aspect of Argus, to get the claim you must study and understand it in the first place. You can do that as any job, and once you become a skilled claimer the moral is a THF will team up with you I guess. So I don't really know what it is I'm supposed to learn here because the message is not really clear.

Vang's been leveling his thf for the specific purpose of being able to solo Argus.
I started camping him back in the voke claim days where Argus would only spawn in one location when I was saving for an Ebow. But even then Rinas had told me she would join up with me if I ever did get the claim which I never did while she was there, Clelia, Phraust, Ancagolier, this was back when 5 people tops camped him.
Now everyone does.
I killed him once as RNG/THF and it was the worst feeling ever sitting there all that time and getting nothing from it. Rinas was asleep so I had won the voke easily but got nothing from it. I then stopped camping him all togethor when I realized Rinas couldn't be there all the time if I lucked out and got him again.
It's not worth it, and you won't get the drop, and people like me will keep upping the price the more we have to fight through mage claims to get another PCC. If you don't think people will pay what we want you're crazy, there will always be rich jps looking to have the best neck pc in the game. 17-18 million IS low compared to other servers, but maybe we should just face the facts that ours is full of whiney pussies who complain about everything.
Emp hairpin has been a cool mil on most other servers for a while now, yet ours is still under a mil and people bitch about it.

I agree with you that it's definetly smarter to claim it as a thief, anda s my thief is sitting at 37 you'll notice you don't see me anywhere camping NMs except in a team, usually a higher level NM. The fact remains, just like you originally, these guys are there cause they want to own good gear, and that was the best way they could come up with. It's a soloable NM, it's shot up high in price and will continue to rise, as you already know, the claim is the fight not the NM itself. As NM drop prices all around rise through the roof, the fight to claim these NMs become more and more irritating. If you recall Iproposed an actual solution for it months ago with force pop for all NMs.
Claim War is fun and all for people who enjoy to actually do itl, but it's really getting out of hand if you ask me.

I just finished reading the thread... took about 30 minutes (slow reader..lol) I'm 31/31 on Eye Mon the Ironbreaker. I've got 31 aspir knives. I have no TH2.
Seriously though, I'm levelling thief as it has more benefits than just TH2 at the higher levels. I don't really think i'll take it end game but i want to take it to as high as AF. It's taking forever though..lol However, the freedom of spending hours on end camping a n/m and bitching if the bastard/whore doesn't drop must continue though. I find it amusing. I've camped Hoo and I'm 0/7 on that bastard. And I'll continue to camp that jerk until I get that drop legitimately....it's just personal now!
Couldn't they have some recipe to give people TH2? lol... and not like that's the 4-leaf mandagara bud... the only i get with that is annoyed that I can't eat any other food for an hour.

Please don't tell me people can't level THF if they want increased drops, leveling it to 45 was not that bad at all.
